Si Mingjing’s wise, phoenix-like eyes flickered with a dark gleam. Was this what she was waiting for? The woman who had an affair with Dong Shangzhi was called Qin Fengling?
Previously, Dong Shangzhi had compiled a list of all the employees from the pharmaceutical factory and sent it to Ye Shen.
Ye Shen had the little chubby kid identify them.

Dong Shangzhi’s reputation as a doting husband shattered into fragnts like broken glass.
Chairman Qin stepped out from the crowd, glaring at Dong Shangzhi with fury. "Well done, you scoundrel! Not only did you marry one of my daughters, but you also seduced another one, you despicable man! Jingqiu, co ho with Dad!"
Such a scandal was not fit to continue in public. Dong Shangzhi’s reputation was ruined.
"Father, Jingqiu, listen to !"
Dong Shangzhi couldn’t allow his reputation to be completely destroyed. Looking at his grief-stricken wife, he said, "Jingqiu, you wanted a child so much. I just wanted to give you one. Please listen to my explanation, okay?"
Mrs. Dong loved Dong Shangzhi too much. She wasn’t able to co to her senses right away. When Dong Shangzhi offered to explain, she almost wished he could give her an acceptable explanation, so she wouldn’t have to feel so aggrieved.
She suddenly felt utterly helpless. Her entire outlook collapsed, she couldn’t find her footing, and her body swayed, on the verge of falling.
Si Mingjing set the little chubby kid down, walked over to support Mrs. Dong, and surreptitiously checked the pulse at her wrist with two fingers.
"Mrs. Dong, I’m sorry I shouldn’t have exposed this matter in public. I failed to consider your feelings, and I truly apologize."
"It’s not your fault," she said. How could it possibly be Si Mingjing’s fault?
Glaring angrily at Dong Shangzhi, Mrs. Dong demanded, "Explain yourself! Why? Why did you go behind my back with Fengling... you two are just disgusting!"
Dong Shangzhi wore an expression of deep, painful emotion. "Jingqiu, I didn’t want you to keep taking all sorts of dicines. I didn’t want you to keep running to all sorts of hospitals, seeking dical help everywhere. I know you want a child; I just wanted to give you a child. Fengling said she was willing to have a child for us. Although the child won’t be related to you by blood, it will still be of the Qin Family’s lineage. After giving birth, she would hand the child over to us to raise and absolutely wouldn’t tear apart our marriage. That’s why I agreed."
Turning on the voice recorder on his phone, Dong Shangzhi said, "This is what Fengling said to . Listen."

Mrs. Dong heard this and suddenly retched violently, her stomach churning. She couldn’t stand it.
Just the thought of her sister in her husband’s arms made her feel intensely nauseous.
