Dong Xin Yan furrowed her brows slightly, wondering what this was, and then she pulled up his hand. This hand always wore a watch, and she took off his watch and looked at his wrist, and was instantly shocked to her core.
On his wrist, there were two or three marks that looked as if they had been cut by a knife. He didn’t have these scars before, so... did they appear in the past four months?
Scars on the wrist, could it be that Gu Ningyi had... hard himself?
Dong Xin Yan stared in disbelief, her eyes fixed on those few scars, staring blankly, shocked, confused, heartbroken, and sad. All her emotions surged up at once, and she covered her lips with her hand as her eyes suddenly beca wet.
If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, she could never have believed that Gu Ningyi would harm himself like this. After all, scars in such a sensitive place couldn’t possibly have been inflicted by soone else.
Suicide... these two words could never be connected with Gu Ningyi. He was always so strong, as if nothing could bring him down, even when they last parted ways, he acted so carefree.
How could a man like this slit his wrist in a suicide attempt?
She looked at the mark on his hand, the wound appeared sowhat deep, and one could imagine how desperate he must have been when he did it.
So, was it because of their separation that he painfully hard himself? Is that why he doesn’t want to see her now?
Dong Xin Yan was startled by this fleeting thought, her whole body trembled, her legs weakened, and she almost retreated, bumping into a table behind her.
The table shook, and a bottle on the table was knocked over, spilling its contents all over the floor.
Dong Xin Yan looked blankly, last night she hadn’t noticed, only now did she see that there were many dications on the table.
Are all these dicines Gu Ningyi’s? Why would he take so many pills? He was always so healthy, he hardly ever took any dicine!
Dong Xin Yan’s hand reached out shakily, picking up one of the dicine bottles. Gu Ningyi, who was sleeping soundly on the bed, seed to be aware of sothing, and slightly turned over, his brows furrowing slightly, and his long eyelashes quivered, as if he was about to wake up any second.
Dong Xin Yan really wanted to see clearly what these dicines were, but she was also afraid that Gu Ningyi would wake up and see her. After so hesitation, Dong Xin Yan quickly picked up the vase, put it back in its place, then picked up the pills from the floor and put them back into the dicine bottle.
She glanced at Gu Ningyi for a few seconds, then got up, and quickly ran out of the room, then dashed downstairs in one breath, running back to her own room.
