Dong Xin Yan really just wanted to sleep for a while, but she didn’t expect to sleep until dawn. The mont she opened her eyes, a ray of sunlight ca through the window and shot straight into her eyes. Her dark eyes squinted, and her whole brain was still in a daze. Her hands subconsciously groped around and touched sothing hard, which had so elasticity when pressed.

While feeling it, Dong Xin Yan slowly looked up, her eyes gradually reflecting that familiar handso face. Dong Xin Yan’s gaze montarily froze, and she was stunned.

Dong Xin Yan paused, mories of last night quickly surging like a tidal wave, causing her dark pupils to widen.

Her pupils slightly contracted as she reflexively looked at Gu Ningyi. The man was sleeping quietly, his face serene, his breathing long and even, still strikingly handso.
Luckily, he hasn’t woken up yet! Dong Xin Yan lightly exhaled.
She knew she had to leave now. Although she said yesterday that she didn’t want to play guessing gas with Gu Ningyi anymore and might as well ask him directly for clarity, waking up now, she had lost that courage again.
She had been suffering from insomnia for months, yet last night, by his side, she slept so soundly. It seed like it had been so long since she could sleep so peacefully.
She was really afraid that if she straightforwardly confronted Gu Ningyi, and the answer wasn’t what she wanted, what reason would she have to stay here? To stay by his side?

No matter how reluctant, she still had to leave. The day had broken, and Gu Ningyi would soon wake up. When he saw her... he would surely drive her away again.
A hint of loss floated in her heart. Dong Xin Yan gently moved Gu Ningyi’s arm from her waist, then slowly propped herself up and quietly got out of bed.
She bent down slightly again, pulled the blanket over to cover Gu Ningyi, then pulled his hands from under the blanket. As she accidentally touched Gu Ningyi’s wrist... she felt so rough marks.
