C43 – The Assessnt Was Completed!
At the entrance of the Iron Woods, Sacred Heart Academy staff were gathered in force, including the teacher who had led the previous expedition and Director Ji Yin himself.
This ti, however, Ji Yin wasn’t positioned at the center of the group. That spot was taken by a middle-aged man exuding an impressive presence, clad in a crisp white shirt that seed to accentuate his formidable air.
The group was predominantly dical personnel. The recent assessnt had left nearly all the candidates with injuries, so minor, so severe. Teams that erged unscathed like Qin Hongyu’s were a rare sight.
Xiong Xin and Liu Tuo’s team caught sight of Qin Hongyu, but they quickly averted their eyes, sheepishly making their way to the sidelines.
Qin Hongyu and his companions quietly followed the throng to the inspection area, where they presented their Spiritual Cards to the staff, who used a highly sophisticated device for verification.
The staff mbers placed each Spiritual Card onto the machine, which confird the authenticity of most without issue.
“This card is not from the Iron Woods.”
Abruptly, the previously silent machine blared an alarm. The student holding the card was caught cheating and promptly dismissed from the proceedings.
This incident served as a stark warning, prompting a few hopefuls harboring thoughts of deceit to silently withdraw from the line, their spirits crushed.
During his own inspection, Qin Hongyu couldn’t help but notice Director Ji’s furrowed brow, as if Qin’s presence was sohow out of place.
Director Ji’s eyes then began to scan the crowd, searching intently for sothing before he strode into the Iron Woods with a darkened expression.
The inspection process was swift, wrapping up in about half an hour, after which all those who passed regrouped.
Once the successful candidates had assembled, the middle-aged man in the white shirt leisurely stepped forward to the head of the group.
“Congratulations on officially joining Sacred Heart Academy. You are all true warriors!” he declared, his voice resonant and commanding despite its volu, each word resonating with the listeners.

for the first ti. I am Qian Dayou, the vice principal of Sacred Heart Academy. You may address
as Mr. Qian,” he introduced himself with a warm smile.
“Hello, Mr. Qian!” the candidates responded in chorus.
“No need to be formal, everyone! You’ve all put in a hard day’s work. Head back and get so well-deserved rest. Tomorrow, after our opening ceremony, we’ll officially sort into our classes. I hope each of you will beco outstanding Battle Spirit Fighters!” Qian Dayou spoke with a leisurely cadence, yet his words carried a magical quality that ward the hearts of those who listened.
Qin Hongyu’s attention was suddenly drawn to a familiar silhouette erging from the gates of the Iron Woods. It was Ji Buyu, the one he had previously knocked unconscious. Director Li was helping him to slowly exit the area.
Ji Buyu clearly noticed Qin Hongyu among the assembled group and shot him a venomous look. However, lacking the courage to confront Qin Hongyu then and there, he sheepishly retreated from the scene.
Once again, the group climbed aboard the helicopter. The mood was noticeably lighter this ti, with everyone engaging in lively conversation and laughter throughout the journey.
