408: Chapter 340: Firepower Is Martial Virtue_3 408: Chapter 340: Firepower Is Martial Virtue_3 “Strike!”

At Master’s command.

In the Large-scale Magical Instrunts area, David leapt into the air, loudly directing the military officers below: “Align!”

“Launch!”

The first to be activated were twelve Triple Heaven Long Arm Talisman Launchers.

This large-scale magical instrunt had multiple launch bays, which could hold different types of talismans.

The military officers had already changed to the largest launcher bay and loaded it with cluster talismans.

As the Feather Cavalry General gave the order, the Horizon Captains responsible for loading imdiately dispersed and ducked, and the officers standing on the side of the Long Arm Talisman Launcher imdiately activated the Array.

The Spirit Jade inside the large magical instrunts was imdiately drained, and the spiritual light condensed into long projection arms, extending the launcher bay outwards.

Then, with a swoosh, the huge cluster talismans disappeared abruptly.

This process felt a bit like the mortar Owen Bertram used in his previous life.

All the preparation movents in front were slow, but the final launch happened very fast.

Twelve huge cluster talismans drew a huge parabola, reaching above the valley.

As they began to fall, they trailed long strands of light and emitted sharp breaking sounds.

When they were about a hundred feet above the valley, each of the cluster talismans suddenly split into eight, then sixty-four, rapidly dispersing into nurous small talismans, covering the entire valley below.

In the valley, with Dandelion at the center, a shimring, wave-like layer of light appeared.

Upon touching this light layer, the talismans imdiately detonated.

One explosion after another staggered on the light mbrane, and although the fierce shaking didn’t shatter it, it held firm.

This round of ordinary exploding talisman shots was just a “firepower reconnaissance.” A command flag appeared in David’s hand, pointing to the Rune Array Cannons.

Twelve Triple Heaven Rune Cannons had been prepared, and their positions were set on a higher mountaintop next to them, overlooking the valley.

The large and heavy bronze Treasure Material cannon body provided an excellent container for integrated Arrays, providing powerful force for the Rune Cannons.

The gunner pulled down the control iron talisman with force, and the Rune Array Cannon was activated with a minimal sound, just a slight backward jerk.

From the muzzle, a thick pillar of light shot out, emitting a continuous hum.

The twelve undispersed columns of light instantly bombarded the light mbrane.

The light mbrane could withstand exploding talismans but was easily torn apart by the Rune Array Cannons, with the columns of light aiming directly at the body of Dandelion.

Another huge, dark yellow light sphere appeared around Dandelion.

The Rune Array Cannon’s beams hit the sphere, and the power of the sphere and beams clashed like molten steel, furiously consuming each other!

David waved the commanding flag in his hand, directing the heavy crossbow towards Dandelion while the Rune Array Cannons and newly-equipped Long Arm Talisman Launchers began bombarding the valley floor in unison.

Once again, the Rune Array Cannon tore through the light mbrane with ease.

Then the gunner slowly adjusted the cannon, and the continuous beam plowed through the valley floor, creating deep furrows.

Imdiately following, a series of specially-designed talismans fell, exploding a huge pit in the ground.

This still wasn’t the end; the talismans exploded again in the bottom of the pit, making it deeper before exploding for a third ti at the new bottom.

This cycle repeated, and the exploding talismans detonated a total of nine tis, leaving twelve 20-feet-deep pits in the valley floor!

Dandelion shook furiously, its roots severely damaged by this round of attacks.

It wanted to retaliate, but before it could react, twelve huge crossbow arrows had been shot towards it, sequentially connecting like a string and all hitting the sa spot on the outer light shield.

Boom, boom, boom, boom…

The explosions ca one after another, and the light shield couldn’t withstand the onslaught.

It was pierced by the fourth crossbow arrow, and Dandelion hastily raised multiple light shields around it in an attempt to protect itself, while simultaneously pulling its roots back and trying to move its body.

At this mont, its dissatisfaction with its current body surged once more: if it were a mber of the Human Race or Demon Clan, it would have escaped long ago.

Instead, it could only stand there and take the beating.

Withdrawing all of its roots, Dandelion was still slow in its movent.

The enormous crossbow arrows had tracking Array imbued in them, miraculously bending their trajectory and continuing to follow the plant.

Continuous explosions echoed in the valley.

For a mont, contact between the Ancient Corpse and Dandelion was severed.

The corpse beca sowhat confused, and Owen Bertram took this opportunity to quietly release the insect, which crawled onto the corpse.

The insect imdiately burrowed into the Ancient Corpse, gnawing away as it made a beeline for the corpse’s heart.

The Ancient Corpse, being of a high rank, reacted swiftly.

With a roar, its body trembled violently, and the insect was ejected with a plop.

However, Owen Bertram seized this opportunity to unleash the Immortal Binding Rope, ensnaring the corpse’s War Halberd.

David, in the sky, observed the bizarre situation in the valley while continuously waving his command flag.

The odd and powerful creature made him feel a sense of awe: if it were not for the discovery of this creature by his master, it would have eventually beco a great threat!

On the other hand, David was even more amazed by the large-scale magical instrunts that his master had improved.

“Master Lane is indeed a Heavenly Vertical Genius, but Master is even more comprehensive and will inevitably surpass Master Lane in ti.” For the first ti, David made this judgnt in his heart.
