"Li Da was a good student. He likes cosplay, just like us. Sir, he's not a bad person," Wen Ziyu added.

Fang Zhen took the pill box and looked at the now docile Li Da. "You're a good student, huh? Then solve a problem for ."

"An opaque bag contains 5 red balls and 3 blue balls.

"Now, two balls are randomly drawn from the bag in succession, one at a ti. The ball is replaced after each draw. Calculate the probability of drawing at least one red ball."

"Solve it. This is from the probability section of high school math. It's not difficult. I want the answer within three minutes."

"Huh?" Li Da was stunned. He never expected to be coerced into solving a math problem.

Fang Zhen glared at Li Da.

"I'll do it, I'll do it... This is just my unlucky day." Li Da, looking aggrieved, lowered his head and started muttering. It was hard to tell if he was doing ntal calculations or just grumbling to himself.

Fang Zhen took a picture of the pills in the box with his phone and sent a ssage to Xia Siwei's aunt, Zheng Yachen.

"Do you recognize this? He claims it's a drug for improving focus. What is it? Is using it illegal?" Fang Zhen asked bluntly in his ssage.

A few seconds later, a reply ca from Zheng Yachen.

"It looks like it, but it would be easier to identify with the packaging. It seems to be Adaklin, an import from Switzerland used to treat ADHD, or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. It's a controlled substance in this country. You need an official diagnosis and a prescription to get it. It has a lot of side effects, and both selling it and using it without a prescription are illegal."

"I know many students overseas use it, but they never ntion the severe side effects. We don't endorse these kinds of drugs here; they're strictly controlled."

"Where did you get this? If you want to confirm, you can bring it to Siwei Labs for a composition analysis."

Fang Zhen understood.

He didn't get the sense that Li Da was lying; the kid's story was most likely true.

"Let event A be 'drawing a red ball,' and event B be 'drawing a blue ball'… then P(A) is… so… the probability of a red ball is fifty-five out of sixty-four."

Li Da squatted on the floor, muttering under his breath. He actually solved the problem in his head in under three minutes, and his answer was correct.

Seeing this, Fang Zhen felt his anger start to fade.

He decided to teach these three kids a lesson—to show them just how dangerous the world can be and that they needed to learn so fear.

Fang Zhen gave Wen Ziyu and the others a thorough lecture.

Wen Ziyu had only heard that the pills could boost your intelligence; she had no idea about the side effects or that they were illegal. After Fang Zhen's explanation, she was terrified by what could have happened. She readily admitted her mistake and promised she'd never do it again.

As for Li Da, his was a case of foolish bravery born from ignorance. Once Fang Zhen laid out the facts and explained the reasoning, he got scared too.

Fang Zhen also took a photo of Li Da's ID card and recorded a video as evidence.

He didn't call the police, mainly to protect Wen Ziyu so no rumors would be spread about her at school.

Even though Wen Ziyu insisted she had learned her lesson, Fang Zhen still reserved the right to inform her parents at any ti. Using his authority as her senior, he grounded her.

As for Li Da, Fang Zhen pulled him aside privately to scare him straight. He told the boy that if he ever tried anything like this again, he'd be dealt with—after all, Fang Zhen now had all his personal information.

The intimidation was highly effective. A terrified Li Da swore he would never dare to do it again.

Fang Zhen also realized his own mindset had changed.

'In the past, when I ran into things like this, if I suspected I was up against so damn criminal organization, my first instinct would have been self-preservation—protecting myself and my family. I would have been worried, scared. After all, my opponents would be professional criminals, and even the police might not be able to guarantee my complete safety.'

'But now, having been tempered by the dungeons, my first reaction is to drag the entire organization out into the open and wipe them all out.'

'With power cos a stronger mindset.'

Fang Zhen returned ho.

Out of habit, he went into his computer room and opened the interface for the Dungeon Life ga.

For the past few days, whenever he had a spare mont, he would check the various modules in the Dungeon Life ga, especially the "ta-Essence Forging" section.

He had just opened the Appraisal tab when he froze.

In his inventory, a new icon had appeared: a box of pills.

Fang Zhen blinked and moved his cursor over it.

'The drug is usable!'

A sudden idea struck him. On impulse, he dragged the pill icon over to the "ta-Essence Forging" section.

'It worked.'

Fang Zhen's eyes imdiately widened.

'The fact that I can drag it here ans I can use my existing Alchemist Legacy Template as a blueprint to forge these pills.'
