Long Tian sat cross-legged in ditation, three fox tails swaying behind him, while a sharp golden light radiated from his body.
His body emitted a strange aura of the soul, causing the room to turn icy.
anwhile, in another room, ng Lingxue was busy working on her laptop and company docunts.
She sensed a shift in the villa’s atmosphere, as if sothing powerful and sacred had descended upon it.
Alard, she paused her work and tried to sense what was happening using her soul consciousness.
However, she couldn’t locate the source. It felt as if it was coming from everywhere.
She probed Aunt Anna and saw she was occupied with chores, but when she attempted to scan Long Tian’s room, her soul consciousness was cut off.
This shocked her, and she tried again, but it was to no avail.
It felt as if a barrier had been erected around his room, or sothing was blocking her ability to perceive.
She frowned, contemplating this.
For such power to cut her off indicated that it was either stronger than she was or equal.
And she was a cultivator. Could her husband be a cultivator?
She rembered the morning she felt soone spying on her.
Perhaps it was this new husband she was about to marry.
She wanted to investigate further, but her pride and cold deanor stopped her.
As long as Long Tian’s actions didn’t affect her, she wasn’t concerned.
Their marriage was only for six months, after which they would part ways.
Back in the room, Long Tian’s aura began to surge violently, as if sothing even more terrifying was on the verge of awakening.
Two pairs of eyes appeared behind him.
At the sight of these eyes, the Shadow Fox beca alert.
The Nine Dragons Chant resonated.
And the Grim Reaper held its scythe.
Suddenly, a drop of blood floated above the eyes. It looked ordinary, with no aura, like regular blood.
But once it appeared, the Shadow Fox, the Nine Dragon Statue, the Grim Reaper, and the eyes all gradually ceased their activity.
Their auras vanished, and they returned to their original state.
The blood also withdrew.
Long Tian’s body slowly collapsed onto the bed, as if he had fallen asleep.
At this mont, the door to his room opened as ng Lingxue entered.
She didn’t want to pry into his affairs, but an increasing aura she felt caused her body to shiver for a second.
This piqued her curiosity about what was happening.
She stood up, left her room, and walked toward Long Tian’s door. When she tried to open it, it was locked.
The aura was intensifying with every second, prompting her to use her soul consciousness to manipulate the door open.
When she finally opened it, all she saw was Long Tian sleeping on the bed.
Did she sense the aura incorrectly?
Was it not from here?
She tried to sense the aura again. It remained in the surroundings, unchanged, and she couldn’t locate its source.
Baffled, she looked at Long Tian on the bed, sighed, and returned to her room.
She wondered what was going on.
Standing in front of her door, she glanced back at Long Tian’s door. For the first ti, she felt a bit curious about this young man.
anwhile, Long Tian was unaware of all this as he continued refining his soul with the Netherworld Reaper Codex.
He didn’t understand why the fang released such a large burst of Netherworld Energy, but he had to refine it and prevent it from wasting.
This was his opportunity.
Unbeknownst to him, part of that energy had been absorbed, subtly remolding his soul.
Before he realized it, he had advanced seven levels in soul refinent using the Netherworld Reaper Codex.
(Soul Awakening, Yin Soul Tempering, Soul Vein Opening, Nether Resonance, Soul Core Condensation, Death Brand Engraving, and Reaper Vessel Formation.)
Progressing from Soul Awakening to Reaper Vessel Formation.
His soul awakened, and because of his physical state, passing the Yin Soul Refining phase was easier, as his body was partly illusory and partly real.
His soul vein, represented by a scythe, was opened, and the outburst of Netherworld Energy facilitated a resonance.
The Netherworld Energy was absorbed by the scythe-shaped soul vein, and at that mont, the energy was fully absorbed, causing a mutation in the essence of the soul vein.
It began condensing into a soul core, encasing the soul vein in an outer shell. The core resembled a larger scythe.
Next, the Death Brand was engraved onto his soul—a tiny flower made of a scythe, looking chilling and demonic.
This process fundantally altered Long Tian’s soul as the fang fused with him, gradually dissolving into his soul.
His eyes flickered with a captivating glow for a second, and wild Netherworld Energy was released but contained within his body.
A space ford around his soul. It was a soul space.
If other cultivators saw this change in Long Tian, they would likely have died from shock.
Even though Long Tian’s soul core was still weak, forming one requires significant soul cultivation.
Following this transformation, his soul finally stabilized, beginning to fuse with his body.
His physical body had also changed.
His strength had increased.
His eyes slowly opened as he looked at the villa’s ceiling.
Then the image of the rampant energy in his body flashed through his mind.
He panicked but quickly saw that his body was fine.
He examined himself and saw the energy had vanished. Then he checked his Infinite Source Genesis Diagram, but it was absent.
At that mont, an unexpected piece of information suddenly appeared in his mind.
As this was happening, the clouds changed and the weather beca chilly. Everyone felt the breath of death.
Dark clouds appeared, followed by crackling lightning and roaring thunder.
The sa eye appeared, rage-filled as golden lightning and thunder filled its eyes.
It searched the world within a mont and locked onto its target - Long Tian.
But a snort ca from Long Tian’s body, and the heavenly eye shivered before disappearing within a second, turning the sky clear once again.
