"Find her, no matter what, and bring her here." Eryx’s voice was low, but his eyes, dark and cold, were terrifying. Callum could only nod.

"I’ll make sure she kneels in front of Lunara," he said. "And I’ll return every ounce of pain she felt that day."

Callum nodded again, this ti slower. "I will, sir."

Just as he turned to leave, Regina reached out and held his arm. "Go back and rest, Callum. You look tired."

Callum imdiately shook his head. "It’s okay, Madam. I’ve rested." His lips twitched into a strained smile, but it looked awkward, obviously forced.

Regina shifted her gaze to Eryx, whose glare landed squarely on her. "Let your staff rest," she said gently. "I know you’re angry, but you need rest too. You haven’t closed your eyes since yesterday, Eryx."

Eryx’s expression remained sharp. "Tell , how can I sleep when my wife smiles at like nothing happened... but cries in her sleep?"

He shook his head slowly, eyes flickering with fury and heartbreak. "She told , she could feel soone pushing her. She knows it. I know it. It was Valerie. If it wasn’t, then why is she hiding? Why hasn’t she co?"

He kept mumbling, pacing slightly, fists clenched as he tried to make sense of it all. "She obviously planned this..." His brows furrowed deeply. "How could she just appear at that little restaurant?" He let out a bitter laugh. "You know her, Mom. Valerie isn’t the type to step foot in a place like that. She always said it would ’downgrade her level.’"

Regina stood frozen, her heart heavy. Her son, always composed, always guarded, at that right mont, was unraveling right before her. And for the first ti, she saw him for what he truly was in that mont.

Lost.

Painfully lost.

She stepped closer and gently touched his arm. "Eryx, listen to ." Her voice was soft but firm. "You need rest. Just for a little while. Let take care of Lunara for now. I’ll stay with her, I promise."

Eryx looked at her, eyes hollow, rage and exhaustion swirling together. But he didn’t protest.

"She’s safe for now," Regina added. "And she needs you strong when she wakes again. So please, go lie down. Just for a bit."

His jaw tightened, and for a mont, she thought he’d argue. But finally, he gave a small nod, the weight of everything pulling his shoulders down.

"I’ll be back soon," he said quietly.

And with that, he walked away, dragging his heavy steps down the hallway, leaving Regina behind, watching, worried, and silently praying for both of them.

Eryx sat in the back of the car, staring out the window, his jaw tight, his mind still swirling with anger and confusion. Callum stood outside, waiting by the car, his posture tense, unsure of what to do. He glanced at the window, hoping for any sign that Eryx might settle down or give so indication of what he wanted next.

But instead, Eryx suddenly rolled the window down with a sharp click, the cool breeze rushing in.

"I need to go to Sterling’s house," Eryx’s voice was calm, but there was a steel edge to it.

Callum blinked, taken aback. He had assud Eryx might rest for a while or even take a nap. But this wasn’t what he expected.

"Sir?" Callum asked, trying to read his boss’s expression. Eryx’s gaze was still hard, his face rigid.

"Call uncle, let’s go to Sterling’s house," Eryx repeated, more firmly this ti.

Callum paused, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "But sir, shouldn’t you...?"

"I don’t need your opinion. Just do it."

Callum stood frozen for a mont, trying to reconcile this shift in Eryx’s deanor. He wasn’t sure if this was about business or personal matters, but he wasn’t about to question him further.

He nodded quickly, "Yes, sir."

Callum quickly nodded, "Yes, sir," and turned on his heel, heading straight for the driver. The smoke from Uncle’s cigarette drifted between them as Callum relayed the ssage.

Behind them, Eryx sat unmoving in the car, his gaze locked ahead.

There would be no rest. Not until this was done.

The car rolled to a smooth stop in front of Sterling’s grand estate, its gates wide open as if mocking him with their false welco.

Eryx didn’t move at first.

He sat in the back seat, one arm resting against the door, eyes fixed on the mansion. His gaze was cold, sharp like a blade tracing every brick, every window, every point of weakness. He wasn’t just looking at a house. He was calculating. Weighing. Choosing the right pressure point to make the whole thing collapse.

Callum glanced at him through the rearview mirror but said nothing. He had learned to recognize this silence, the one that ca before a storm.

Eryx’s jaw clenched. He already knew what he wanted. "Callum, the files we got from my grandmother before... you brought them, right?"

Callum, caught off guard, blinked. "Files, sir?"

Eryx didn’t need to speak. He simply tilted his head and locked eyes with the mirror. That was enough.

"Ah, that one! Yes, sir." Callum quickly reached down for his briefcase, fingers fumbling with the clasp. He began pulling out the docunts.

"Hold onto them," Eryx said firmly, stopping him. "Not yet. When the ti cos, I’ll make sure they collapse completely. And they’ll learn never to make the sa stupid mistake." He paused, "No...they won’t be able to even think about it ever again."

He wasn’t going to let this go. Attacked him? He was still okay, but If they thought they could hurt Lunara and walk away unscathed, they were about to learn just how far he would go to protect her.

Callum gave a small nod, understanding now that this wasn’t just business. This was personal.

Eryx finally opened the door and stepped out. The cool wind hit his face, but it didn’t cool the fire building inside him.

Ti to make them surrender.
