Special Drop: Wyrmlord's Volt Core (Epic – Amplifies Echo Synchronicity)

Thunderborne Key Fragnt x1 Acquired

Leon exhaled deeply, falling to one knee as the storm around the arena slowly dimd.

Milim pumped a fist. "Told you I'd punch sothing into orbit today."

Roselia walked up beside Leon, flicking blood off her blade. "That final echo strike… it wasn't just technique. You forced ti itself to replay your will."

Leon nodded. "We're not just reacting anymore. We're commanding the tempo of this world."

An official approached.

"The arena shifts in six hours," he said. "Your next round will be against another challenger team: The Black Spires Ascendancy. Veterans of Floor 309."

Roman blinked. "Wait… they're from a higher floor?"

The man smirked. "And they didn't co down to lose."

ROUND FOUR – VERSUS: BLACK SPIRES ASCENDANCY

The arena had transford again.

This ti, it was a static field of obsidian glass, with jagged storm mirrors scattered around. The surface reflected every movent. Lightning struck the ground at irregular intervals, causing shimrs in space-ti. It was designed not for monsters—but for elite PvP.

And on the far side stood their opponents.

THE BLACK SPIRES ASCENDANCY – TEAM COMPOSITION

Veyr Aegisthorn – Echo Knight, Spear user. He manipulates pulse mory and can fight in multiple echo-tilines at once. Tier VIII.

Noxelle – A cursed fla duelist. Shadow-magic fused with fire, burns that target mana signatures. Blade and whip-style combat. Tier VIII.

Kalverin the Veil-Caster – Spatial distorter and illusionist. Controls midair positioning and perception. Also Tier VIII.

They were all stronger than any individual on Leon's team—statistically.

But stats weren't everything anymore.

No introduction. No banter.

Just the arena flare—

[BEGIN ROUND FOUR]

Leon surged forward first, facing Veyr Aegisthorn, whose spear fractured into three overlapping ti-echoes mid-charge.

Each stab ca from a different version of the future.

Leon read the rhythm on instinct. Shell Pulse: Echo of Origin activated. He countered not the spear—but the mont before Veyr would commit. He saw the intent and broke the rhythm with a perfect parry.

"You can echo your future," Leon said calmly, "but I own my past."

He struck—Karmic Loop detonated behind Veyr, blowing one of his future-selves out of sync.

ROSELIA VS NOXELLE

Roselia fought in a spiral dance, dodging bursts of cursed fla that twisted toward her mana flow. One hit nearly scorched her blade.

So she stopped defending.

She started singing.

A high, eerie lody—Swordsong: lody Fracture—cut the whip's trail and sent an arc of sound through the fla stream, distorting it completely.

Noxelle snarled, but Roselia now moved with unnatural grace. Her blade moved not faster—but in anticipation. She wasn't fighting against Noxelle.

She was conducting her.

ROMAN NAVAL VS KALVERIN

Kalverin created a field of fractured space—every motion repeated three tis, all in different places.

Roman activated pulse anchors midair. Naval crushed gravity nodes under their feet, snapping the illusion.

Then they made the real move—Roman overloaded one anchor, blowing up the false field's convergence point, and Naval dropped a gravity mine directly on the real Kalverin's heartspace.

Kalverin barely reacted in ti—only to be shot backward into a mirrored shard wall.

Leon's pulse reached perfect harmony.

He activated Shell Reverb: Phase Shift Chain, syncing Roselia's last note-strike with Roman's orbital beam and Naval's final mine pulse. Milim jumped from above—elbow first.

Everything struck at once.

[COMBO CHAIN – FULL TEAM SYNC]

The arena split with a shockwave.

The Black Spires Ascendancy fell—stunned, breathless, and unable to rise.

[ROUND FOUR COMPLETE – VICTORY]

Audience Approval Rating: 99%

Reward: Gladiator Crest – Tier VIII Rare

Thunderborne Key Fragnt x1 (Final Piece Collected)

Veyr, still grounded, looked up at Leon.

"…You weren't what I expected," he said hoarsely. "Your pulse is unorthodox. Like it's alive."

Leon offered a hand, helping him up. "It is."

He tapped his chest. "Because I'm not fighting alone anymore. My echoes… carry more than technique."

With all five key fragnts, the arena itself roared.

Lightning surged through the air as a bridge ford—made of solidified thunder and light—leading straight up to a floating platform suspended in pure storm.

[Stormbearer's Crown – Final Combat Trial]

Solo Challenge Only

Opponents: Past Champions, Simulated Echo Lords, Arena Wills

Difficulty: Tier IX Ascension Trial

Roman looked at Leon. "Only one can go."

Roselia smirked. "No doubt who that is."

Leon, gripping Echofang—now evolved with Reverb Titan Shellbone and Wyrmlord Volt Core, nodded.

He walked forward.

His pulse: perfect.

His mind: focused.

His blade: ready to speak in echoes the world hadn't heard yet.

"Only one may ascend through the Crown."

"Only one may command the storm."

A voice whispered across the arena as Leon stepped onto the final platform—a towering citadel of coiled bronze and silver lightning, floating miles above the thunderfields.

The sky churned around him.

No team.

No safety.

Just Leon, ard with:

Echofang – Reverb Titan Shellbone Integrated

Wyrmlord Volt Core – Echo Delay Amplification

Echo Heart Core Fragnt – Temporal Recall Layer

Trial Type: Solo Gauntlet – Adaptive Echo Combat

Waves: 3 Combat Stages 1 Echo Champion

A surge of light struck the platform—and from it ford three Arc Riders, agile storm knights in mirrored armor, riding on discs of magnetic energy. They moved with electromagnetic whips and split-second bursts of pulse-teleportation.

Leon didn't blink.

He let them co.

First rider: slashed—Leon countered with Karmic Loop Snap, rebounding the whip back with a burst recoil and flipping the rider midair.

Second rider: blinked forward—Leon anticipated the shift and used Temporal Recall Fra—stepping backward into a prior heartbeat and slashing from the past.

Third rider: feinted left—but Leon stepped forward, blade down, and whispered:

"You're too slow."

A vertical wave of Shell Pulse: Origin Crash burst outward—cutting all three clean through their echoes.

[PHASE ONE CLEAR – TI: 01:42]

The platform trembled—then restructured.

A massive living forge-construct erged, its limbs made of collapsed iron winds and thunderous gears. It wielded pulse anvils and could collapse rhythm into null zones—cancelling echo effects.

Leon grinned.

"Perfect sparring partner."

He disabled Reverb Recoil and fought manually—each clash between him and the construct sounding like an orchestra of thunder.

The construct attempted a null slam—Leon flipped over it, and embedded five echo delay marks into its back.

"Tripart Echo – Lag Collapse."

Each mark detonated one after another. The forge shuddered—and Leon shattered its echo core with one clean thrust.
