Rong Yan decisively crossed her arms and countered, “Why would I lie to you?”

Caught off guard by the question, Miss Su stamred, “No, no!”
“Then why are you afraid I overheard?”
Miss Su was left entirely speechless, pursed her lips stubbornly, and slightly raised her chin. “I’m just worried about you eavesdropping! Who told you to sneak out so suspiciously? Isn’t it normal for to be suspicious?”
Rong Yan hadn’t intended to overhear anything. Seeing her act like that, the warmth in Rong Yan’s gaze quickly drained away. She said calmly, “The restroom only has one way out. Could Miss Su non-sneakily exit another way for to see?”
