She got out of bed, roughly opened the wardrobe, casually picked out an outfit, and planned to take a shower first. She could hardly stand the sll of alcohol on her.
"Jiaojiao." Jin Jing asked anxiously.
Xu Jiaojiao said indifferently, "I want to take a shower, you can go back first."
"But I still have so much to say to you."
Jin Jing did not intend to leave just like that, and Xu Jiaojiao’s deanor was very cold. He disliked her coldness the most, always feeling anxious as if she were a stranger.
"Suit yourself."
Xu Jiaojiao walked into the bathroom with a complicated look in her eyes but her heart could no longer bear it as she leaned against the wall. She felt unwell, or rather deeply saddened, even unable to et Jin Jing’s gaze; though he was remorseful, it was hard to convince her to listen to Jin Jing’s explanations. There was no need for explanations anymore, nor was there any need to hurt each other because of Yue Chengjun.
Xu Jiaojiao closed her eyes, took off her dirty clothes, turned on the shower, and closed her eyes to empty her mind, concentrating on enjoying the quiet solitude.
Jin Jing sat stunned on the sofa in the living room, knowing his explanations might be of no use. Xu Jiaojiao was not an ordinary girl; simple coaxing tricks wouldn’t work on her anymore, and he was clueless on how to appease Xu Jiaojiao.
"Jiaojiao, are you done?"
While drying her wet hair, and observing Jin Jing who hadn’t left yet, she paused for a mont, then went to her bag to find her phone, seeing two missed calls, she returned the call.
"I was just in the shower, what’s up, tell ."
Seeing Xu Jiaojiao completely ignoring him, Jin Jing felt frustrated.
"I got it. You can co get now. I’ll just pack so essentials and changes of clothes before returning to the set."
Xu Jiaojiao no longer wanted to be distracted by other matters. This new role was significant to her, she wanted to perform it well without relying on gossip or scandals to gain attention, thus her mindset had beco more tranquil.
She packed a few clothes simply, placing the necessities and makeup bag together, stuffing them all into the suitcase. Rembering there were still so clothes in the nanny van, she zipped up the suitcase after so thought.
"This should be about right."
Jin Jing, seeing her busy packing and then taking out the suitcase, seed she was about to leave again. He beca anxious and imdiately said, "Jiaojiao, where are you going?"
Xu Jiaojiao said calmly, "I’m going back to the set, the assistant will be picking up soon. You should leave, I’m going to lock the door shortly."
"Jiaojiao, are you really not going to listen to my explanation? Just because I didn’t go to the dinner yesterday, you got angry, drank, and treated like a stranger. Even if you want to sentence , at least give a chance to defend myself."
Jin Jing anxiously jumped around, yet was unable to find a good way to get Xu Jiaojiao to give him a chance to explain. He could only watch helplessly as Xu Jiaojiao dragged her suitcase with a look of indifference.
"There’s no need for your explanation, I already know everything. I hope you think clearly about our situation while I’m back at the set. I don’t want such things to happen again in the future. I can tolerate her presence, but it doesn’t an I will continue to tolerate it unconditionally."
As Xu Jiaojiao spoke, her phone rang, seeing it was the assistant’s call, she pressed the answer button, "I’m here. Okay, I’ll co down now and et you in five minutes."
