The dinner party was nearing its end, with Xu Jiaojiao drunk, and Hua Tiantian also drunk. The two were venting about unpleasant things, from issues in the production team to trivial matters in life, so much so that Qin Miaomiao’s ears felt like they were growing calluses.
The only two n hadn’t had a drop of alcohol, bearing the responsibility of driving people ho later.
Lu Qing and ng Yan exchanged a glance, feeling the urge to sigh repeatedly at Xu Jiaojiao’s state.
"We should just drink juice."
"Co on, cheers."
The two n, unable to drink alcohol, clinked glasses despondently and drank juice.
Seeing their frustration, Qin Miaomiao began to bla Jin Jing in her heart. Not knowing why, even though they had made up, Jin Jing suddenly didn’t co, leaving everyone hanging, which was utterly confusing. Could sothing else be more important than the reconciliation between him and Xu Jiaojiao?
What exactly Jin Jing was busy with, Qin Miaomiao didn’t know. At the mont, she couldn’t understand anything substantial from Xu Jiaojiao’s state, so she squinted and stared at Xu Jiaojiao’s complaints, as after so many rounds, people dared to say anything.

Hua Tiantian’s blurry gaze halted on ng Yan. She tilted her head, scrutinized ng Yan, and didn’t say a word, only swaying her index finger under ng Yan’s nose.
"You’ve drunk too much, I’ll take you ho later."
Seeing Hua Tiantian’s state, ng Yan felt utterly helpless. However, since Xu Jiaojiao was in a bad mood, it wasn’t right to mind the odd things she said, as everyone was speaking honestly while gathered together. Because of Jin Jing, she was both sad and hurt, and it was nothing to vent now under the influence of alcohol.
"Miao Miao, why doesn’t he understand my words? Why doesn’t he get ... You know, he knows everything I like and hate. Why, why did it all change suddenly? Everything has changed, we can’t go back anymore."
Her intermittent words made Qin Miaomiao roughly understand so things, specifically that the root of the problem lay with Jin Jing. Most likely, Jin Jing did sothing quite outrageous that deeply hurt Xu Jiaojiao. Coupled with his absence at the dinner, Xu Jiaojiao’s self-esteem was probably hit, thinking he was all talk and had no sincerity.
Lu Qing heard Xu Jiaojiao’s words and felt so speculation in his heart.
He said to Qin Miaomiao, "I think it’s better to send her ho early."
"I think so too."
Upon hearing them ntion ending the dinner, ng Yan finally felt relieved. Seeing Hua Tiantian had already drunk herself into a stupor, if she were to continue causing a drunken scene with Xu Jiaojiao, there was no telling how late it would get, so he said to Lu Qing, "Let’s all leave, take them back to rest early."
"Let’s go."
With that, Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao stood up. Lu Qing went to pay the bill first while Qin Miaomiao slowly helped a drunken Xu Jiaojiao out of the private room.
Then, ng Yan picked up Hua Tiantian, worried about her balance, he pressed her head into his embrace.
"You take her to the car first, I’ll be right there."
Qin Miaomiao nodded to Lu Qing and glanced back at ng Yan and Hua Tiantian, "Will you be alright?"
"No problem, I’ll make sure she gets ho, don’t worry."
"Alright, then take Tian Tian first, I’ll wait for Lu Qing."
