"Jiaojiao, you’re drinking too much, be careful not to get drunk."
"Miaomiao, you don’t need to say it; I know whether I can get drunk on this wine. If drinking tonight can help sleep well, then just let drink." Xu Jiaojiao’s gaze at Qin Miaomiao beca hazy, thinking about Jin Jing, her heart ached, and she could only temporarily numb herself with alcohol.

If it weren’t for Yue Chengjun saying she suddenly had a stomachache and was worried about the baby, Jin Jing wouldn’t have rushed to accompany her for a prenatal checkup. It was only after calming down that he realized he had been too anxious earlier, didn’t properly explain to Xu Jiaojiao, and just dismissively told her he couldn’t make it to dinner.

Lu Qing felt it inappropriate to step in directly, after all, Xu Jiaojiao was Qin Miaomiao’s friend and also a woman. If Jin Jing were present, he would be the most qualified to stop Xu Jiaojiao from drinking, but unfortunately, he wasn’t there.
Hua Tiantian felt heartache seeing Xu Jiaojiao in that state, though her own alcohol tolerance was average. But seeing Xu Jiaojiao wanting to drink away her sorrows, she couldn’t help but want to share the burden, so she poured half a glass of wine for herself.
"Sister Jiaojiao, if you want to drink, I’ll drink with you. But you have to promise , this will be the last glass, after this, no more." Hua Tiantian said, her gaze becoming unusually serious, her deanor revealing a slight haze as she had just had a drink and was feeling sowhat tipsy.
