To single-handedly level the forces of the Salvation Society was not a problem for him at that ti.

"So... for the sake of my escape plan, oh Great Monarch, do hurry and admit to your age, let inherit your throne." Thinking of this, Little Nian Beast sighed softly.

It squinted its eyes, silently gazing into the distance of the forest.

Since the Divine Chicken Demons started reporting, so ti had already passed, and now it could faintly catch sight of the figure of the Year Beast Monarch.

After all, the Year Beast Monarch was so colossal that it even towered over the giant trees in the forest.

Looking into the distance, it was a gigantic purple-red lion, stepping slowly and firmly, its double pupils shining brightly in the light, its slightly bowed brow ridge emanating authority.

Yet the Monarch’s body was covered with a patch of deep black mane, which Little Nian Beast had never seen before.

"Is it sick?" Little Nian Beast furrowed its brow, staring at that black mane, "Or just old?"

"Whether it’s sick or old doesn’t matter, as long as it can pass the throne to ." It shook its head, dispelling the errant thoughts, and continued to gaze ahead.

At this mont, behind the Monarch, there followed a cyan-black snake and an enormous white wolf. The white wolf was equal in size to the Monarch, its left eye having a white cloudiness, its pupil flowing with extre brightness like daylight.

What appeared before its eyes was indeed the demon form of Bai Tanlang, "Celestial Wolf."

Once at the Mirror Auction in the Tokyo Auction, Ji Minghuan had seen this form of Bai Tanlang, although at that ti Li Qingping had beaten him severely.

Li Qingping was still a Catastrophe Level Anecdote Envoy, and if not for the necessity to protect the burden of the Second Prince, he would have had no problem taking down half the brigade alone.

But now the White Crow Travel Brigade was completely different, half of them being Catastrophe Level, and even if Li Qingping ca again, he would be at a disadvantage.

And just as the mbers of the White Crow Travel Brigade had said, Bai Tanlang had officially t with the Year Beast Monarch today, which is why it appeared in Little Nian Beast’s line of sight.

It was uncertain how Bai Tanlang would persuade the Monarch to cooperate with the people of the White Crow Travel Brigade. Of course, it was more likely that they’d keep this information hidden, inside and outside collaborating, staging a "cooperation" the Year Beast Monarch would be unaware of from start to finish.

Looking farther, Little Nian Beast could see behind the Monarch and Bai Tanlang three strangely shaped demons, out of place with the surrounding environnt.

These were the Seven Deadly Sins demons from Northern Europe.

They were "Wrath," "Sloth," and "Gluttony," the last three survivors of the Seven Deadly Sins.

"Wrath" was a skeletal figure, its almost every inch of intact skin tied to a floating silver-white cross above, its eyes glaring wide, with the cross carrying it flying through the air, following the Monarch;

"Sloth" was a blue-haired girl dressed in dark priestess clothes, sitting on a flying broom, her eye corners with upward dark eyeshadow, her heavy dark circles as if a black patch was sared on her face;

"Gluttony" was a heap of flesh resembling rotting mud, thousands of rotting human flesh piled together ford this demon’s body, mixed with human bones, but most strikingly its head, its eyes one large and one small, one corner of its mouth drooping while the other sinisterly curled upwards.

"Hideous." Little Nian Beast clicked its tongue, "Looks like the Monarch really can’t make it, getting mixed up with these foreign demons... Then again, it could be that this generation of Lake Hunting is too overwhelmingly strong, and father had no choice but this desperate asure."

The Year Beast Monarch and Bai Tanlang drew closer, their thundering footsteps resounding in the forest, shaking banyan tree leaves into flight like a snowfall of red.

They crossed the swirling red leaves, walking step by step, each step echoing like thunder.

Remain still when the enemy is still, Little Nian Beast decided to lie motionless on the tree branch.

It seed like an old monk in ditation, silently staring at the Monarch’s face, contemplating how to make it abdicate, could it directly rush up and say, "Old thing, you’re already this old, don’t be tactless, hurry and pass the throne to ?"

Little Nian Beast felt that was absolutely impossible.

First, it had to disguise itself as a mature and steady lion, demonstrating sufficient composure before the Monarch, then exhibit the courage to command thousands of troops.

Having co this far, it was better to take a good sleep first.

Thinking about this, Little Nian Beast yawned, closed its eyelids, as drowsiness crept over its heart.

The Monarch’s footsteps ca closer in the darkness. Before long, the Year Beast Monarch had reached close to the waterfall, paused under the banyan tree.

It gently lifted its head, squinting, its gaze piercing through the swirling crimson leaves, looking at the Little Nian Beast, snoring on the branch.

The Cyan Snake Demon also stopped, lifted its ice-blue eyes, curiously looked at the Little Nian Beast on the tree, then sighed after a mont, lowering its head to the ground.

It seed no longer willing to observe the Monarch’s reaction.

The son, unseen for ten years, was ignoring his father, sleeping heartlessly on the tree, which was a sight anyone would find unbelievable.

In the dead silence, the Year Beast Monarch raised its head, silently staring at Little Nian Beast.

The thousands of demons in the forest fell silent, even Wrath, Gluttony, and Sloth quietly stopped behind the Monarch. At that mont, only a chilly lake wind blew, swirling the maple leaves in descent, rustling throughout the vast forest.
