Chapter 295

~Valerie’s POV~

I didn’t think much about the ssage until I stepped into their classroom... and my lungs forgot how to function.

Their scents all crashed into like a storm. All four of them.

Kai’s smoky cinnamon. Axel’s forest rain and spice. Dristan’s sharp ice and storm. And Xade’s darker blend of thunder, ash, and sothing sinful.

I froze.

My heat, which was already simring beneath the surface, ignited.

The air turned heavy. The kind that stuck to your skin and made your blood run molten.

Every instinct I had scread danger, but my wolf, Astra, whined in submission, need and hunger.

They felt it too.

I could see it in their eyes, the sudden shift. The change. The mont their Alpha instincts recognized what I was trying so hard to suppress.

Astra wasn’t helping out again. She was letting it run wild while silently begging my mates to take us as we were.

The door clicked shut behind . I didn’t jolt but I’d be a fool not to know what that ant.

Shit.

I turned, but Kai was already there, leaning against the door, arms crossed, erald eyes glowing.

"Love," he murmured. "Going sowhere?"

I backed up instinctively, only to bump into a desk.

A heartbeat later, Dristan stepped out from the shadows on my right, looking calm, composed and dangerous. "You’re burning up," he said softly. "You should’ve told us it was this bad."

"I’m fine," I said, even though my voice shaking betrayed .

"You’re lying," Axel said, stepping in from the left with a smirk. "We can sll the lie on your skin."

"I just need air—"

Xade’s voice cut through the haze from behind the teacher’s desk, low and rough like gravel soaked in sin. "No. What you need... is us."

My heart pounded in my chest.

I was surrounded. Trapped between their bodies, their scents, their want—all amplified by the brutal pull of the mate bond.

"Tell , mate," Dristan said, moving closer. "Do you always look this pretty when you’re cornered?"

"Say it," Kai growled, stepping closer, now moving in from behind . "Say you don’t want us."

I clenched my fists, trying to hold onto my sanity. "I don’t..."

"Liar," Xade said simply, his stormy blue eyes watching like a predator savouring the mont before a kill.

Axel moved forward, his hand sliding under my jaw to tilt my face to his. "Your pupils are blown. You’re trembling. Want to try again?"

I tried to pull away, but Kai caught , one arm wrapping around my waist, pressing back against his solid chest.

"Running already?" he whispered in my ear. "We haven’t even touched you yet."

My breath hitched as Dristan’s hand slid up my thigh, slow and deliberate.

"Your scent doesn’t lie, mate."

Xade’s voice dipped into sothing dark. "You want us to ruin you, don’t you?"

My legs were trembling. My wolf was howling. Every inch of burned for them—these dominant, infuriating, dangerous Alpha heirs.

And I hated that they knew it.

If I hadn’t taken off and lost my necklace, this wouldn’t have happened.

Kai’s hand slipped up to my throat, fingers wrapping around it—not hard, but enough to make feel how easily he could command .

"Say it," he whispered. They all seed possessed, but I could only guess what kind of possession that was.

They were all drawn to and my heat further brought out the dark desires in them.

"I..." I gasped. "I don’t want—"

"Then stop looking at us like that," Dristan said as his eyes glowed. "Like you want to be devoured," he answered for before I even got the chance to ask him myself.

Axel leaned in, brushing his lips against mine but not quite kissing. "We could sll your heat the mont you walked in. And you think we’d just let you leave?"

I closed my eyes. Tried to focus. Tried to will the ache away.

But then Xade stood from the desk.

And walked toward , and everything stopped.

He didn’t say a word—he didn’t have to. His presence alone made my knees weak.

He ca to stand right in front of , eyes raking over every inch of , stormy and intense. Then, in a voice that barely qualified as a whisper, he leaned in.

"Tell us no, Valerie," he murmured, mouth brushing my ear. "Tell us to stop."

My lips parted but no sound ca out.

Because I couldn’t.

Because deep down, in the hollow ache between my thighs and the wildfire rushing through my blood... I didn’t want to.

Not even a little.

Axel’s fingers traced the curve of my waist. Kai’s breath kissed the back of my neck. Dristan’s palm slid up to rest against my cheek like I was precious and breakable.

And Xade’s eyes held mine, burning with the kind of restraint that threatened to shatter.

"We’ll stop," he whispered. "But only if you say it."

I trembled. Torn between the instinct to run... and the desire to let go.

The room spun, my breath hitched, and my wolf, Astra, purred.

"No."

For a second, just one breathless, tension-thick mont, no one moved. Then Axel’s eyes darkened, a flicker of primal amusent igniting behind his lashes, leaving a slow and dangerous smirk.

"Oh?" he drawled, voice dipped in heat and challenge. "That’s a dangerous ga, baby girl."

Xade chuckled low behind , his breath fanning against the shell of my ear. "She wants it," he murmured like it was a secret, ant only for . "Even if her mouth keeps lying, her body’s screaming the truth."

My skin burned. Every nerve was awake, trembling.

Kai’s fingers curled tighter at my waist, his restraint almost violent in the way he held himself back.

He was always the controlled one, the one who teetered on the edge of barely-restrained need.

His voice was gravel when he spoke next.

"She wants to break," he said, not even pretending anymore. "She wants to be undone. Look at her. Sll her."

I did. I looked at all of them, and Gods help .

I wanted them.

My thighs pressed together instinctively, trying to stifle the ache pulsing low in my belly. But that just made it worse.

The friction, the reminder, the wet heat growing between my legs—it only made more aware of how badly I was losing this battle.

And then, as if my body wanted to completely betray , my mind flickered—to dreams I’d had.
