The lady patted him on the shoulder and complinted him before continuing, "Were you looking at a picture on your phone just now? Show the picture and I’ll help you find it."
What the lady said seed to give Lu Xize so kind of courage and confidence. He no longer felt embarrassed, but instead felt a sense of pride, and happily showed her the picture.
"This brand! It’s quite expensive, but we do have it. It’s not on this shelf, it’s at the counter over there. Co with , young man."
"Alright, thank you, sister." Lu Xize put away his phone, flashed a bright and charming smile, and nodded to her as he followed her.
The way he called her ’sister’ made the lady feel extraordinarily happy, her smile grew wider, and she beca even more enthusiastic.
"This is it, young man. Take a look at which kind you want. Do you need the thin day-ti ones or night-ti ones? We also have combo packs with day and night pads and everything."
Lu Xize looked at the different options, thought it over, and finally decided on the combo pack. He really couldn’t rember what Yun Xi asked him to buy over the phone. If he asked her now, she’d definitely be angry. It’s better to buy a combo; it has everything she might want.
Once he made up his mind, Lu Xize raised his eyebrows and said with a smile, "Let’s go with this combo pack then. Thank you, sister. I appreciate it. I hope you grow younger and more beautiful every day."

"Okay." Lu Xize carried the box to the checkout counter, feeling it wasn’t very dignified for a grown man to carry a box of sanitary pads, so he specifically asked for a bag.
After swiftly returning to the car, Lu Xize sent a ssage to Yun Xi: "Got it, will be at the company in about ten minutes."
Yun Xi was waiting in the company restroom for his ssage. Those minutes felt like an eternity to her. Seeing his ssage, it felt like seeing hope, and she simply replied with "Okay," without urging him further.
Seeing her reply, Lu Xize felt a little bit of heartache and reluctance. He sped up, and luckily, three or four traffic lights were green when he reached them. It only took twelve minutes to arrive at Yun Group.
On weekends, the entrance to the Yun Group building has security guards on duty. When Lu Xize tried to go in with the package, he was stopped by the guard who didn’t recognize him: "Sorry, sir, it’s the weekend. The company is on break, and there’s no one working. Please co back on Monday if you have any business, thank you."
"I’m looking for your Director Yun Xi. She asked to bring sothing to her. She’s still upstairs, right?" Lu Xize said directly, not wanting to beat around the bush.
The guard knew the design departnt was working overti today, and it seed that only Director Yun hadn’t co down yet, so he hesitated and nodded: "Then please co in, sir."
Once inside, Lu Xize dialed Yun Xi’s number, inquired about the floor and exact location, and when he heard she was in the ladies’ restroom, he couldn’t help but laugh.
"So... have you been waiting for in the restroom all this ti?" Lu Xize asked, trying to hold back his laughter as he entered the elevator.
Hearing his unrestrained laughter, Yun Xi’s mouth twitched a few tis, and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes: "Try laughing one more ti? I’ll pull out all your teeth, believe it or not? Hurry up, I’ve been waiting here for over half an hour."
"Alright, alright, I’m not laughing anymore. Not laughing, out of the elevator now." Lu Xize stepped out of the elevator, glancing around: "Left or right?"
"Left."
"And then?"
"Go straight, the restroom is on the right at the fork."
Following her directions, Lu Xize walked over, and when he arrived at the ladies’ restroom, he hesitated, raising his eyebrows: "This ladies’ restroom... is it convenient for to go in?"
