Facing Shao Min’s teasing, a slow blush crept onto Ye Lingran’s face, making Her lower Her head sowhat embarrassed. anwhile, Yun Qi glanced at Her with an air of calm confidence. It was a look full of profound aning, which startled Shao Min, almost causing the dumpling she was holding with chopsticks to fall to the ground. Luckily, she steadied herself at the last mont. She swore she would never dare to tease President Yun and Miss Ye about their affairs again; life is too precious.

However, her praise of Ye Lingran’s cooking skills was sincere. Yesterday, after she and Yun Qi had a eting and Yun Qi went back to his room, she delivered the remaining ingredients and condints over, but at that ti, she never imagined that such a simple al could transform into such delicious dumplings and pancakes.

"Miss Ye, I’m serious, when we get back to Nancheng, please accept as your apprentice!" As she was finishing her al, Shao Min looked at Ye Lingran very sincerely and blinked earnestly.

Ye Lingran chuckled, "If you want to learn, just co find !"

"Really?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Hehe! That’s great. I’ll co to you when I have free ti on the weekend, of course, only when you’re available."

"Okay."

After they finished eating, Shao Min and Chai Jie took on the dishwashing task again. Yun Qi didn’t say much, rely glanced at the ti and then went back to his room to change, while Ye Lingran also returned to her room to grab her coat, docunts, and purse.

Once she had gathered everything, she returned to Yun Qi’s room to find that Shao Min and Chai Jie were no longer there. They must have gone back to their rooms to get their work materials. So she placed her coat and purse on the sofa and waited quietly for Yun Qi to co out.

After waiting for about two minutes, footsteps sounded behind her. Ye Lingran turned her head instinctively and saw him dressed in a deep blue suit with a white shirt underneath. His collar buttons weren’t fastened, and a blue clover silk tie was casually draped over his shoulder. One hand was slightly raised, indicating he was indeed having so difficulty.

Yun Qi looked at her with a sowhat helpless expression, gesturing with his eyes toward his injured hand as if hinting at sothing.

Just from his look, Ye Lingran understood and couldn’t help but laugh. She walked over, raised her hand to fasten all the upper buttons for him, then stood on her toes to adjust his collar and tie, skillfully and gently tying his tie.

Looking at her delicate face so close, Yun Qi’s eyes deepened, the layers of softness lurking within, as the corners of his mouth lifted slightly. He looked down at her every graceful move, "Did you sleep well last night?"

Hearing the gentle voice, Ye Lingran raised her eyes, and when she t his deep and gentle gaze, her heart seed to skip a beat, and her mind went blank. Out of instinct, she wanted to take a step back, but in her panic, her high heel wobbled, and her body fell to one side.

Yun Qi, seeing this, acted without thinking, not caring about his injured hand, and directly wrapped his arm around her slender waist to steady her, "Are you okay?"

"No... I just twisted it accidentally."

"Is your foot okay?"

"Mm, it’s fine."

Just then, since the door was not closed, Shao Min and Chai Jie entered with their briefcases and saw this scene, leaving them montarily stunned. Shao Min blinked, "Uh, sorry, President Yun, Miss Ye, we’ll... co back later." With that, she intended to pull Chai Jie to leave.

"No need, if everything’s ready, let’s get going! Let’s not keep them waiting too long." Yun Qi glanced over at the sound, faintly smiled, still with a gentle smile on his face, but the hand around Ye Lingran’s waist did not let go.

"Yes, then Shao Min and I will go down to check the car first." Chai Jie nodded politely and pulled Shao Min’s sleeve as they left the room.

"Do you... do you have anything else to sort out?" Ye Lingran glanced at him awkwardly, stepping to the side slightly, causing the hand around her waist to loosen a bit.

"Hiss..."

Perhaps it touched his wound, and Yun Qi couldn’t help but take a sharp breath, his eyebrows furrowing tightly.

Hearing the sound, Ye Lingran quickly stepped out of his embrace, turned to grab his hand, "What’s wrong? Did it hit the wound?"

"It’s okay, just accidentally knocked it..."

"Sorry."

Looking at her face full of guilt, Yun Qi laughed, raised his hand to gently press her forehead, "I’m not blaming you, why apologize, let’s go! There’s nothing I need to prepare, have you got all your stuff?"
