"Let’s go! We can go now." Yun Qi, seeing no more vehicles, smiled at her and then took her across the crosswalk.

Until they returned to the hotel, Yun Qi never let go of her hand. When they got to the front desk to get the room cards, he had to let go to take out his ID card. After retrieving the room cards, Ye Lingran found out that their rooms were adjacent. Once upstairs, Ye Lingran opened her room door and turned to Yun Qi, saying, "The front desk just said that our luggage has been sent to each of our rooms, so... do you want to co in first to take care of your wound? After all, it’s been quite a while. If we don’t clean it, it’s feared... it might get worse."

"Okay." Yun Qi readily accepted her suggestion and walked into her room with his long strides.

Once in the room, Ye Lingran, unfamiliar with its layout, glanced around and found it to be a suite with a separate bedroom inside, along with a living room and a dining area outside, including a dining room, and her suitcase was placed in the living room.

Ye Lingran walked over, turned her suitcase sideways, and opened it. All her belongings were neatly packed in different colored bags. After she pulled out the dical kit, she looked at Yun Qi, who was standing not far away, and said, "Co over and sit down!"

Yun Qi slowly walked over and sat on the sofa in the living room, while Ye Lingran knelt on the carpet, placing the dical kit on the coffee table and taking out everything needed for later. Yun Qi watched as she took out two transparent spray bottles filled with different liquids, dical cotton swabs, gauze, and so on.

"What are these?"

"These!" Ye Lingran, dipping a cotton swab in the liquid, turned her head to look at him and saw his gaze on the two bottles on the table. "These are all dicinal liquids. I have a habit of carrying a little bit of them in the dical kit. Later, we’ll use them to disinfect your wound." After she spoke, she untied the gauze from his wound. The bleeding had stopped, but the wound looked a bit grueso.

While helping him clean the wound, Ye Lingran got up and sat on the sofa, carefully wiping and cleaning it. Despite her caution, the process still caused so pain. Yun Qi didn’t say much but slightly furrowed his brows. Noticing his expression, her hand paused, "Does it hurt a lot?"

"A bit," Yun Qi nodded and smiled at her.

"Then I’ll be gentler."

Sure enough, her movents beca even gentler. After going through each step to clean it properly, the wound, which wasn’t as grueso as before, appeared. It also didn’t seem very deep, which reassured her. After carefully re-bandaging his hand with gauze, she smiled and said, "Fortunately, the wound isn’t too deep, but until it heals, you have to be careful these days, especially avoiding water—that’s a must. In a couple of days, we can change the dressing and check the wound. If it improves, there shouldn’t be any problems."

Seeing the little bow she tied on the back of his hand, Yun Qi couldn’t help but chuckle and firmly rembered her advice, "Yes, I understand."

Ye Lingran tidied up the dical kit again and turned to look at Yun Qi, noticing he was staring at her, which made her a bit flustered, "Well... since the wound is taken care of, you should rest early! Don’t you have to get up early tomorrow?"

Was she trying to send him away?

Yun Qi squinted slightly, looking at her aningfully. But if Ye Lingran knew what he was thinking at the mont, she would definitely argue against it. She was obviously being considerate of him. She had leaned on him for the whole afternoon nap and felt he probably hadn’t rested well, so she wanted him to go back early, making it less awkward for herself as well.

"What’s wrong?" Facing his hawk-like gaze, Ye Lingran felt a bit intimidated. After enduring it for a while, she tentatively asked back.

"Nothing." Yun Qi smiled, retracted his gaze, raised his hand with a gentle wave, and said, "Thank you."

"No need, just a small task."

Yun Qi slowly stood up, "Then you rest early. I’ll head back to my room. If you need anything, give a call. See you in the morning."

"Okay." Ye Lingran also stood up, nodded, and escorted him to the door, waving and reminding him, "Rest early as well. Rember, the hand... mustn’t get wet."

"Got it." Hearing the concern in her voice made Yun Qi’s smile deepen, "Go on in! Rest early."
