"It’s nothing." Jiang Baizhou pursed his cool lips, his eagle-like gaze slightly restrained, desperately trying to hide the discontent and impatience in his heart. Finally, under control, he managed to quell the disparity in his mind, glanced sideways, and asked, "Where are you going?"

The topic was abruptly changed by him, Cen Jin paused for a mont, then smiled and replied, "I’m a bit hungry, there’s nothing to eat at ho, I plan to go out and buy sothing to eat."

"Co over." Jiang Baizhou indifferently withdrew his gaze, turned around, walked down the steps, and headed towards his own villa.

"Where to?" Cen Jin quickly followed, closing the door behind her.

"To eat."

"You haven’t eaten yet?"

"No."

"Where to eat?"

"At my place."

The two exchanged questions and answers like this, and soon arrived at Jiang Baizhou’s front door. Cen Jin imdiately stopped in her tracks: "Eat at your place?"

Jiang Baizhou went into the house, finding that she was still standing under the sun with no intention of coming in, and his eyebrows furrowed: "Co in, isn’t it too sunny outside?"

"I..." Hearing his obviously irritated and emotionally charged tone, Cen Jin felt even more convinced that she must have done sothing embarrassing last night, but she truly couldn’t recall.

"Cen Jin, co in quickly! It’s so sunny outside, let’s eat." While she was still lost in her thoughts, Miss Yu Hui, wearing an apron, walked out, waved to Cen Jin outside and called with a smile.

"Aunt Hui Zi, you’re ho today!" Cen Jin snapped out of it and t Yu Hui’s gentle and enthusiastic eyes, smiled and walked into the house.

"It’s the weekend, the dance studio is closed." Yu Hui smiled as she welcod her in, and asked with concern, "How are you? I heard from Bai Zhou that you were drunk last night, are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere? Dizzy or nauseous?"

"I’m good now, thanks for your concern, Aunt Hui Zi." ntioning the drinking, Cen Jin instinctively glanced at Jiang Baizhou’s expressionless face, guiltily touched her nose.

Yu Hui dragged Cen Jin to the dining room, took a seat, and with a smile, picked up a bowl and served her so soup, "This morning Xuesu ca to the store and told , fearing you’d wake up with a headache, so I specially made you so hangover soup."

Cen Jin accepted with a smile, tasted it with a spoon, and raised her eyebrows: "It’s so good."

"If you like it, have so more. Next ti, don’t drink again; you’re the one who suffers in the end."

"Okay, understood!"

"Bai Zhou, what are you doing standing there? Co over and eat!" Yu Hui took off her apron and hung it on the chair’s back, just as she was about to sit down, she noticed her son standing in the living room with a cold expression, silently glaring at Cen Jin who was drinking soup, and called out.

Cen Jin froze upon hearing this, lowered her head and continued silently drinking her soup, silently thinking ’I’ll need to send Shi Shu a WeChat ssage later to find out what happened yesterday.’

During the al, Miss Yu Hui kept putting food into her bowl: "Cen Jin, you don’t have anything planned for today, do you?"

"Hmm?" Cen Jin looked up towards Yu Hui while eating, shook her head: "No, nothing!"

"That’s good, why don’t you have dinner at my place tonight as well? It’s the weekend, Xuesu will probably be very busy, and takeout is not healthy, plus Bai Zhou is ho today."

"Uh, that’s too much trouble for you all, I..."

"What’s there to trouble or not trouble, we’ve been neighbors for decades, it’s just like family. It’s decided then, after lunch, I have to go out for a while, I’ll co back later and make dinner for you. And Bai Zhou, take care of Cen Jin well while I’m gone, alright?"
