By the next day noon, Cen Jin had been tossing and turning in bed for a long ti before slowly opening her eyes. The familiar ceiling and the layout of the room ca into her blurry view. Just as her head moved slightly, a wave of dizziness hit her, making her involuntarily raise a hand to her forehead. It took quite a while before she could prop herself up to sit. She was montarily bewildered and turned to look at the ti on the bedside table, suddenly recalling that she had dinner with Lu Shishu last night, then drank a bit, and then...

She couldn’t rember anything else.

No matter how hard she racked her brain to think, she couldn’t recall a single thing, so she simply gave up, cradling her head which felt like it was about to explode, and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

While brushing her teeth in front of the mirror, a scene suddenly flashed in Cen Jin’s mind, and she froze imdiately, perplexedly staring at her reflection, whispering, "Jiang Baizhou? Did I see Jiang Baizhou last night? Or was it... just a dream?"

Even after changing her clothes, Cen Jin couldn’t figure out if the image of Jiang Baizhou appearing in the the restaurant was a dream or reality.

Even though it was Saturday, Ms. Qin’s bakery was open every day, so there was practically no one to be seen as she ca downstairs. Rubbing her hungry stomach, she checked the fridge and found nothing to eat except milk and drinks.

After staring at the refrigerator in despair for a mont, Cen Jin closed the fridge door weakly, made up her mind, and decided to go out to find sothing to eat.

After changing her shoes at the entrance hallway, just as she opened the door intending to leave, a handso silhouette suddenly entered her line of sight, startling her. The hand holding the doorknob imdiately released, and her body instinctively took a step back.

"Awake?" Jiang Baizhou, standing outside, also appeared slightly astonished, with his hand suspended mid-air as he was about to press the doorbell. But he reacted noticeably faster than her, a faintly unusual expression on his indifferent handso face, though his tone remained unchanged.

Cen Jin blinked and finally ca to her senses after hearing his voice. She nodded, "Mm, just woke up. How did you... know I’m off today?"

At her words, Jiang Baizhou’s brows imdiately knitted together, his expression turning serious: "You got drunk yesterday."

"How did you...?" Cen Jin instinctively asked in surprise, suddenly recalling the blurry scene she had just thought of, her chest tightened: "Last night I had dinner with Shi Shu, and then... did you co over?"

"You forgot everything?" Jiang Baizhou asked with a stern face, a clear anger in his eyes.

"I..." Hearing his intimidating tone, Cen Jin felt a wave of unease in her heart, awkwardly smiled: "Um... how co you went to the restaurant yesterday?"

Jiang Baizhou turned his face away, exuding a strong aura of displeasure: "Lu Shishu answered your phone."

"Oh, I see." Looking at his expression, Cen Jin felt as if she had done sothing unforgivable: "So was it you who brought back yesterday?"

Jiang Baizhou glanced at her from the corner of his eye, still wearing a cold expression, turning aside without responding.

"Um..." Seeing him not speaking, Cen Jin felt even more guilty, and couldn’t help recalling her drunken behavior at her 19th birthday, along with Lu Shishu’s frequent teasing about it. Her tone subconsciously beca cautious: "I probably didn’t do anything excessive last night, right?"
