Chapter 1702: Chapter 1619: Foresight

Within the Suthers territory, a large-scale land army is assembling, as Suthers the First has made up his mind to help Binghan the First win this war.

He has mobilized his best 1st Corps and reinforced it with a large amount of heavy weaponry, piecing together what appears to be a formidable force.

This force includes 2 Armored Divisions, each equipped with a full 500 tanks. Just based on this number, they are already better equipped with tanks than the Tang Army’s Armored Divisions.

Additionally, to support these two Armored Divisions, the Suthers side has also equipped this Corps with 4 chanized infantry divisions, all supplied with a significant number of armored vehicles, offering them excellent mobility.

Learning from the experiences of the Ice Cold Empire, Suthers the First further strengthened this Corps with as much air defense weaponry as possible, ranging from large-caliber anti-aircraft guns to small-caliber self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, fully equipped and ready.

In his view, even if this force cannot defeat the Tang Army, it should at least face off against them directly. Therefore, he confidently submitted a transit application to the Elf side.

After all, between Suthers and the Ice Cold Empire lies the vast territory of the Poplar Empire. Such a large force heading north must first gain the consent of the Elf Race.

However, this process has not been smooth, as a piece of not-so-good news ca from the Elf Race: the 2nd and 3rd Corps of the Poplar Empire suffered heavy losses, and the Ice Cold Empire’s transportation lines were nearing collapse.

Under these circumstances, the difficulty for the heavy-ard Corps to head north beca apparent: while moving through the Elf Race’s territory posed no issue, once they entered the Ice Cold Empire, ensuring supply beca impossible.

Even if the Suthers Empire was willing to provide supplies on their own, the transportation capability within the Ice Cold Empire could not deliver these supplies to the front lines.

The logistical challenges that have been troubling the Great Tang Empire are now troubling the Allied Forces as well. However, while the Great Tang Empire’s issues can be resolved with natural barriers, the Allied Forces’ problems are due to strategic bombing by the Great Tang Air Force.

The supply challenges facing the Tang Army are about to be resolved as the repairs at Eternal Winter Port progress, yet the Allied Forces’ supply difficulties are far more complex.

As the Tang Army’s supply situation improves, the destructive power of the Great Tang Air Force has increased dramatically. Under these circumstances, how much of the Ice Cold Empire’s transport lines can remain intact is a major question mark.

In fact, until today, the Tang Army has not deployed its strategic bomber units to conduct strategic bombing on the Ice Cold Empire, which is why the Ice Cold Empire’s military production has been maintained so far.

The Tang Army has not directed their efforts to bomb the dwarfs’ major industrial cities or to damage these targets, allowing the dwarfs to barely maintain their industrial production.

Up to now, dwarfs can still produce at least 10 tanks of various models daily, which is not a small number.

At this rate, the Ice Cold Empire can supply over 300 tanks to the front lines monthly, which is a fairly high level.

This is also why the dwarfs have dared to launch attacks at any cost: their subsequent replenishnts are tily, only taking so ti to reach the front lines.

However, everything sent to the front requires transportation, and the pressure on the roads is unprecedented. With continuous destruction caused by the Tang Army’s tactical air force, transportation lines in the central and northern regions of the Ice Cold Empire have been severed.

Thus, when the Suthers Empire proposed letting its heavy-ard Corps head north, the so-called Allied Forces’ headquarters offered a response that left Suthers the First both crying and laughing: they hoped the Suthers would send so light-ard troops northward.

In the grand hall of the Imperial Palace of the Suthers’ Imperial Capital, a group of ministers held the Ice Cold Empire’s reply and cursed. One minister, tapping on the telegraph paper, complained to the grim-faced Suthers the First, “Your Majesty! Isn’t this sending our young n to their deaths?”

Before Suthers the First could respond, another impatient minister remarked, “Exactly! What do they an by light-ard troops? Without tanks, do they expect the infantry to break through the Tang Army’s defenses?”

“Is it any wonder they haven’t succeeded after such a long fight, with only infantry going into battle? Hahaha.” Hearing these two Imperial High-ranking officers speak, other ministers also voiced their criticisms.

On the side, the Suthers Empire’s generals also ridiculed, “Those fools! They wasted so much precious ti, creating such a ss now, what a bunch of idiots!”

“Enough!” Suthers the First rebuked softly, imdiately silencing the scene. He glanced at his ministers and reprimanded them coldly, “What ti is it now? It’s a critical mont of life and death! What are you doing? Hmm? What are you doing?”

After his reprimand, he continued, “Send another telegram to the Poplar Empire, telling them that the heavy-ard forces must head north. I will redeploy two more Corps to reinforce the Ice Cold Empire! No matter what, the Tang Army must be driven back to the Western Continent!”

As an emperor, he had his foresight: if the Ice Cold Empire falls, it would an the entire Eastern Continent has fallen.

No single empire can stand against the Tang Army head-on. Comparatively, the nations of the Eastern Continent are already at a significant disadvantage.

Comparing the populations and territories of both sides, the Great Tang Empire, which controls the entire Western Continent, is absolutely on par with all the countries of the Eastern Continent combined. Including the technical superiority, the Great Tang Empire has a clear advantage.

Although the Eastern Continent’s various empires have united, they are still a loose coalition, while the Great Tang Empire, dominating the Western Continent, can integrate all the continent’s resources as easily as waving an arm! In this aspect, the Allied Forces are clearly at a disadvantage, a huge one.

With such a comparison, the Tang Country is now clearly in a position of advantage. If the Allied Forces engage in internal conflicts now, there’s truly only the path of demise left.

Hence, at this ti, Suthers the First is committed nationwide to participating in the Anti-Tang Alliance, regardless of the good relations between his nation and the Great Tang Empire.

“Furthermore, send a telegram to Emperor Poplar The First in my na, asking him to put aside grievances at this mont of life and death, and to cooperate with the dwarfs as much as possible to push the Tang Army into the sea!” Suthers the First added, looking at the many silent ministers.
