The Book of Ti was the symbol of the Supre Kai of Ti, usually held and guarded only by her. Whis would never have thought such a thing could appear in Jiang Chen's hands.
"This is sothing Lady Chronoa temporarily left in my care." Jiang Chen smiled as he explained, while the power of Ti in his right hand resonated with the Book of Ti.

And not just any Gogeta, but Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta, Jiang Chen could hardly affect him by only using his own ager Ti power.
After all, that kind of power was strong enough to shatter even Ti and Space itself. His tiny fragnts of temporal energy would barely leave a trace.
Only the Book of Ti could affect Gogeta.

An illusory tide surged forth and in an instant, it enveloped the surroundings, swiftly spreading toward Gogeta.
At the sa ti, Jiang Chen's voice rang directly in Gogeta's mind.
"Don't resist, this is my power. It can sustain your current state. Otherwise, if this continues, both your body and spirit will collapse."
Jiang Chen's voice was low and steady. The Gogeta who had instinctively been about to resist suddenly stopped and a faint light flashed in his eyes.
Even if Gogeta hadn't heard Whis's words, he could feel his own condition clearly.
He naturally understood that his power had already reached its absolute limit. If he continued, it could only end in the complete collapse of both body and spirit.
But against the God of Destruction Beerus, he was unwilling to give up, so he had kept forcing himself forward.

His gaze swept over the temporal field swirling around Gogeta, then shifted toward Jiang Chen in the distance.
"What a hassle!" God of Destruction Beerus curled his lips, though he didn't say anything more.
Even if he hadn't known Gogeta's condition before, now that the power of ti was flowing, he fully understood what was happening.
"Co again!" Gogeta gave a low shout, his expression brimming with excitent, because at this very mont, he could feel his state being frozen in place.
The sensation of imminent collapse no longer pressed on him and this ant that he could continue to unleash his power.
"Five minutes!"
"With my level of control over the Book of Ti, I can hold it for at most five minutes!"
As Gogeta charged forward once more, Jiang Chen's voice rang out again.
"Five minutes, huh? I understand!" Gogeta nodded, without the slightest trace of disappointnt.
To him, five minutes was already more than enough. But after speaking, Jiang Chen's face had grown faintly pale.
Though his mastery over the power of ti had reached an impressive level, the problem was that the being he was trying to influence with temporal force was simply too powerful.
A Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta, his strength had already far surpassed the limits of an ordinary universe.
Even within Zen'ō's (King of All's) perfected universes, this kind of power was far beyond the standard.
To put it bluntly, if not for the augntation of the Book of Ti, Jiang Chen's current temporal power alone would never have been able to affect a Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta.
