In the original work, tamoran Fusion is a signature technique of the tamoran race. Goku learned it from them while in the Underworld. When Dragon Ball entered the Buu Saga, Goku was allowed to return temporarily to the living world to participate in the "Tenkaichi Budokai."

At this mont, fusing in Super Saiyan 5 state, the Gogeta that would erge might very well be the strongest in history.
Their gazes t and amidst looks of anticipation, the two figures finished their dance.
But just as they were about to complete it, Jiang Chen's mouth twitched slightly.

"Whis San, you flatter !" Jiang Chen smiled faintly, his gentle voice ringing out.
And in the very instant the two exchanged words--
"BOOM!"
A terrifying aura surged up as a figure erged.
The figure had a tall and imposing body, with the sa height and build as Son Goku. Thus, Gogeta stood strong and broad-shouldered, his physique athletic and well-defined, with clear muscle lines and even four visible abdominal muscles.
Gogeta's hairstyle resembled Vegeta's, but was longer and fuller; like Vegeta, his forehead bore the sharp V-shaped widow's peak. At the sa ti, he had bangs similar to Goku's, while his facial features carried Vegeta's stern sharpness.
His hair remained the brilliant white of Super Saiyan 5 form, with matching white eyebrows and pupils. Compared to Goku, his skin was bronzer, matching Vegeta's own darker tone.
But appearance was not what mattered now. What mattered was the terrifying aura that this figure exuded.
Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta.
Had arrived.
"You Saiyans really have endless tricks! This kind of power… it's enough to make ecstatic!" The God of Destruction, Beerus, was filled with excitent as his gaze locked on Gogeta.
Even though Gogeta had yet to unleash his full strength, Beerus already felt a pressure unlike anything he had ever known.
Not once had he felt such weight.
Not even when facing all the other Gods of Destruction combined.
This suffocating force was sothing entirely new.
"I am neither Son Goku, nor Vegeta!"
"I… am Gogeta!"
"The warrior who surpasses all dinsions! Now, Beerus, let be the one to defeat you!"
Gogeta's voice thundered, and the next mont his aura erupted violently. The instant he appeared, he was already in Super Saiyan 5 form, his fusion granting him this overwhelming state from the start.
That ferocious power spread through heaven and earth.
In that mont, it wasn't only Beerus's planet trembling, The entire Seventh Universe quaked with violent unrest.
All living beings across the cosmos seed to shiver in dread of this terrifying presence.
But Gogeta and Beerus cared nothing for that.
As Gogeta's aura exploded outward, their battle also began.
This ti, Beerus held nothing back. The pressure Gogeta gave him was simply too imnse. Though this was not divine power, it had already reached the very limit of what could exist.
This is a power on par with his own.
Beerus drew upon his strength to its full one hundred percent.
The destructive energy poured out recklessly, flooding the battlefield in every direction.
"This kind of Power probably won't last long. The Fusion Technique simply can't bear such force. And besides, their minds may not be able to withstand it either!" Angel Whis frowned as he spoke, his expression also taking on a rare trace of solemnity.
Since the birth of Universe 7 up until now, the Gods of Destruction he had guided were naturally more than just Beerus. Yet it was undeniable that Beerus was the most gifted and most powerful one in Whis's eternal life, without question.

He had never imagined that the Fusion ti could be this ridiculously short.
One must know that even in the original work, Super Saiyan 4's Fusion had lasted for quite a while.
And yet Super Saiyan 5 could only last one minute.
That was undoubtedly pathetically short.
Looking up at the battle raging in the sky, there was no way such a clash could be resolved in a re minute.
"Yes, at most one minute. In a while, I'll step in and stop them."
Angel Whis nodded, then glanced at the instant noodles in his hand. He hesitated, but after so thought still opened his mouth.
"There is no need for that, Whis San!"
Hearing Whis's words, Jiang Chen's heart stirred, and then a smile spread across his face.
