"Why are there so many freaks around Captain Su?"

"It sucks that we're just regular people."

While chatting, Chisato had already infiltrated the warehouse guarded by the cultists. The three tomoe in her Sharingan spun slowly in her eyes. Wherever her gaze landed, the cultists who dared to resist dropped like puppets with cut strings—silenced instantly.

To fragile, ntally unstable minds, even the most basic Sharingan illusion was devastating. As Chisato moved deeper inside, any resistance was swiftly shut down. One by one, the cultists collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

In no ti, the entire warehouse was cleared. The remaining cultists were easily handcuffed by the special forces. No ambush, no struggle—just a clean, bloodless sweep. With Su Xiuyu leading and Chisato clearing the path, this group of dangerous extremists was dealt with like child's play.

A stash of ammo, weapons, and piles of cult propaganda were uncovered on site—it was a textbook case of catching them red-handed.

Honestly, this kind of raid was routine for the Special Service. The real challenge wasn't in taking them down—it was finding these bastards. Most cultists lived in the shadows, constantly moving, making them damn near impossible to track, let alone arrest.

But with Su Xiuyu now possessing Uzumaki Mito's enhanced sensory powers, their biggest obstacle had beco their easiest win.

That night, Su Xiuyu led his squad in a massive sweep, wiping out cultists hidden across half of Yangcheng. By dawn, the temporary detention center was packed to the brim.

On the third day, Su Xiuyu was back at it again—another round of purging.

Day four ca and went.

Day five—done.

After five full days, Yangcheng felt like a brand-new city. Every known cult organization had been dismantled, their mbers locked up. It was a hard-hitting win for the Special Service Bureau.

The public cheered. After all, the average citizen had been living in fear, especially after so brutal incidents linked to these cults. Now, with them gone, the city finally felt stable again.

With peace restored, the Bureau found itself with little left to do—Su Xiuyu's overwhelming presence had wiped the slate clean.

There was one thing, though: an unstable wormhole had appeared in Yangcheng half a year ago, but no one had the bandwidth to deal with it back then. Now, with ti on their hands and Su Xiuyu around, it felt like a waste not to explore it.

"Captain Su, take us with you this ti!"

"Last ti, you only brought Lei Gang, and he got a huge power boost. It's our turn now!"

"Yeah, help us out, Captain! We're tired of being crushed by Lei Gang!"

"Co on, y'all, stop whining. Captain Su's on a whole different level. Know your damn place!"

Su Xiuyu chuckled. It had been a while since he brought them along. Now was a good ti. And Chisato he'd left her alone for two years. Taking her and Mito together would be a good change of pace.

"Alright, gear up. I'll take you all on this trip. You've been with before—you know the drill. Don't be reckless. We move out tomorrow morning."

"Yes, Captain!" they cheered, scattering like excited kids.

"Chisato, you're coming too," Su Xiuyu said with a smile. "I'm bringing you and Mito to see another world. Mito's been on a few of these trips already. With our current strength, we'll be fine—as long as we don't run into sothing insane."

The next morning, the team gathered early, buzzing with excitent. Anyone traveling with Captain Su knew they'd be safe—so long as they didn't act like idiots.

"Everyone ready? Let's go."

So brave souls had already gone through the wormhole, but none ever ca back. Maybe they were trapped in another world. Or maybe that world had advanced tech—or supernatural powers—that made returning impossible.

Still, the squad passed through the wormhole and landed in a bustling city. It had been dayti back in Yangcheng, but now it was night, throwing everyone off a bit. At least the cover of darkness kept them from drawing attention—suddenly appearing in public would definitely make headlines.

They looked around—bright neon lights, noisy nightlife, and signs written in Japanese made it clear: this was a modern society, very similar to Japan.

With a little street intel, they figured out where they were.

Tokyo.

And there was even a CCG presence.

No doubt—this was the world of Tokyo Ghoul.

The problem? None of the team mbers knew this ani world. Only Su Xiuyu, who still retained mories of his past life, recognized it.

"This world's got supernatural elents," Su Xiuyu briefed them. "The CCG's an anti-ghoul organization. Ghouls feed on humans, so don't drop your guard. But rember—human nature can be even scarier than monsters."

"Find a place to stay first. We'll regroup after."

Su Xiuyu, Mito, and Chisato had no problem securing a hotel. A glance with their Sharingan was enough—no receptionist dared to turn them away.

The others got creative. So used fake IDs. Others found low-end hostels that didn't require identification. A few even pitched tents in parks, ready to rough it.

"Alright, now that everyone's checked in, let's go over a few things. I highly recomnd ditching the tent idea unless you want to beco a midnight snack for ghouls. If you don't have a place, bunk with soone who does. Now, ti to scout the local culture. Just don't go looking for death, and I'll keep you safe."

"Can we get coffee first?" soone asked.

The group ended up at an old-fashioned coffee shop. The wind chis at the door jingled gently as they walked in.

Antique Café—simple, cozy, and quiet.

Behind the counter stood a silver-haired man with an air of calm wisdom, like a friendly grandpa.

"Welco," greeted a blue-haired girl with a soft smile.

"Xiu Yu, sothing slls really good," Mito whispered.

"Three lattes, please," Su Xiuyu ordered calmly.

"Would you like a specific blend?" the girl asked.

"Nah," he replied, shaking his head. "I barely know anything about coffee. Just latte, mocha, cappuccino—stuff like that. Surprise ."

--------

"So, what would you ladies like?"

"Sa for us—make it a latte," Mito replied, taking Chisato's hand and sitting down across from Su Xiuyu.

The other team mbers were smart enough not to join their table. They understood this wasn't just so casual hangout.

Crack!

The sound of shattering echoed from the counter. The store manager, who had been wiping a bone dish, had accidentally crushed it. Touka witnessed the entire mont, and considering he was one of the few who knew the store manager's true identity, the panic only made things stranger.

Why would the infamous Non-Killing Owl suddenly lose his composure?

"Manager? Are you okay? Were there any CCG agents in that group?"

"No... they're not from the CCG. They don't sll like white doves," the manager replied, his voice tense.

"Then why the panic?"

"I'm sorry... I'm just... distracted. Serve them for now. I need to speak with their leader personally."

After cleaning up the shards, the store manager himself brewed the lattes and served them to Su Xiuyu, Mito, and Chisato. The rest of the group didn't get this special treatnt, though Touka still helped prepare their coffee.

"How is it, Mito? Chisato? Do you like the latte?" Su Xiuyu asked casually. "I don't actually know how to drink coffee. Just ordered sothing random."

Mito smiled. "Doesn't really matter. We didn't co here for the coffee, did we, Xiuyu? You wouldn't bring us to so ordinary café without a reason, no matter how nice the place looks."

It was Chisato's first ti following Su Xiuyu. She kept her head down and remained silent. Just being able to follow him was enough. The novelty of this new world was fun, sure—but the pride rooted deep in Uchiha blood made her instinctively look down on it all.

You could say that arrogance was baked into their DNA—like how Uchiha Madara saw no one as equals aside from his brother and Hashirama.

"But no matter how nice this place slls," Mito muttered, "there's still that faint scent of blood underneath it all. And that manager... he's kind, yeah, but there's sothing hostile about him. Though weirdly enough, I can also tell—he ans us no harm."

"This is the first ti I've seen such a contradiction," she added, frowning.

Su Xiuyu nodded. "You're not wrong, Mito. He's definitely... conflicted. Isn't that right, manager?"

The old man approached, smiling gently. "You seem to know , though this is our first eting. Unfortunately, I can't say the sa. If it's convenient, may I speak with you after your coffee? I'm just an old man, after all."

You'd never guess that this kind old man was actually the fearso Owl. But those who knew him understood—this man had spent years trying to atone for his past, shackled by guilt and duty.

"Where I'm from, we usually respect our elders," Su Xiuyu said coolly. "So sure—if you're up for it, I don't mind chatting."

"You all look unfamiliar," the manager continued. "Not locals, are you?"

"If you're worried we're CCG," Su Xiuyu said, "don't be. You can probably tell—we don't have their scent."

"We're just a bunch of travelers, wandering through. We don't usually interfere in local affairs. So no need to be so on edge."

The manager gave a faint smile. "Perhaps. But when a mortal stands before a dragon, fear is only natural. How could soone like not be concerned about your presence?"

Su Xiuyu chuckled quietly. "A dragon? I'm no dragon—and you're not just so average man either."

"My instincts tell ," the manager said softly, "that the man before is sothing far more terrifying than a dragon. A god, perhaps. I wouldn't sleep well unless I confird your intentions. But hearing you say that puts at ease. My greatest fear was that soone like you might bear a grudge against our... kind."

"In that case, I won't bother you further," he added, bowing politely. "I hope you and your companions enjoy your ti here. Apologies for the disturbance."

He turned and walked away, leaving the trio in peace.

---

"Xiuyu, your aura... it's scaring people," Mito said, shaking her head with a soft chuckle.

Su Xiuyu gave a faint smile.

It wasn't surprising. The store manager's spiritual vitality didn't match his old appearance. For soone like him to feel threatened only proved how terrifying Su Xiuyu truly was.

"Xiuyu, the manager and staff here... they're different," Chisato finally spoke. "They don't feel like normal humans. Are you sure this is an ordinary world?"

"Well... not exactly." Su Xiuyu leaned back. "It's not your typical world. Let's just say... a certain special species evolved here. It's a long story."
