Gu Chaoyan and Sword One exchanged a look. Both of them had heard the sound of soft footsteps. Sword One was a well-trained hidden guard from Shadow Door so she was able to sense the movent and Gu Chaoyan had an even sharper sense of hearing, since she was very strictly trained in her previous life. Also, she had been drinking magical water since she arrived in this world, so she was very aware of everything around her.
Sword One took out her sword, when she sensed sothing strange going on outside. She decided to take a look outside the room, since her mission was to protect her Elder Miss, and she needed to shield her in whichever situation.
Qing, who had not been aware of anything, did not know the situation for the mont, but when she saw the look on her Elder Miss and Sword One’s faces, she understood that sothing was wrong. Instead of speaking loudly, she said nothing and continued to take care of Gu Chaoyan like before.
Although they knew about the approaching person outside the room, they should never let that person know that they were aware.
If the person outside knew about the people’s awareness inside the room, he would beco alard. Then it would be much harder for them to deal with him outside.
Gu Chaoyan threw a look at Sword One who was about to go out.’’ She threw a look at her and asked her not to go out, then she gestured for her to put away the sword. She should not reveal her identity as soone who was good at martial arts.
Sword One did not get it, but that was her Elder Miss’ order, sothing she could not possibly counter. So she put away the sword slightly and returned to how she was a while ago, when she was making the tea for Gu Chaoyan whilst listening to the movent outside the room.
Elder Miss was definitely full of evil ideas.
She put away her sword, so no one could see from outside that she was capable of doing martial arts. That man, whoever he was, would feel that it was just three weak girls in the room. In this way, that man would not be very alert. When he was not that alert any more, he could get attacked by Elder Miss’ silver needles, which would trap him completely.
Sword One smiled and started to talk in the room. She was telling so stories only a girl would tell.
And Qing’s care of words to Gu Chaoyan’s physical condition were heard too.
The man outside was still wearing a look of alarm, because he had noticed how capable that hidden guards were out there. It had taken him a lot of effort to dodge them and co to this room. He had been worried that soone else, who was equally capable, was hidden inside the room too.
He had not wanted to take the risk, but he had to do this, because he needed to take a hostage.
