The Old Demon, on the other hand, looked like he had undergone a great ordeal and appeared utterly worn out.

After the peak master returned to his cave abode, Ethan Smith couldn’t wait to bring the Old Demon back to his own abode.
As soon as he entered, Ethan Smith waved his hand, sealing the cave abode.
“With the business done, you can let go now…” the Old Demon once again spoke, weakly.
Instead of responding to his plea, Ethan Smith asked, “How did you escape the divine sense search?”
The Old Demon scoffed and replied, “Do you really think the divine sense search is infallible? Let tell you, it rely searches one’s consciousness. In my conscious world, I hold absolute control!”
At these words, Ethan Smith was instantly taken aback!

The Old Demon waved his hand and asked, “Can I leave now?”

Ethan Smith nodded, “Indeed, I did promise to help you escape the Thunder Courtyard, but I never specified where I’d send you.”
“You dare trick ?!” the Old Demon instantly bristled with fury!
“Don’t you trust to report the real situation?!”
Ethan Smith laughed coldly, “In that case, you too would die.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t kill you, only imprison you. At least until you’ve sincerely repented will I grant you your freedom,” Ethan Smith responded.
The Old Demon clenched his jaws and spat out, “Stop bullshitting ! I want to leave the Thunder Courtyard right now!”
“I’ll take you out right now,” Ethan Smith nodded.
Imdiately after, he grabbed the Old Demon and swiftly left the Thunder Courtyard using the Character Xing technique.
Throughout the journey, the Old Demon struggled with all his might but was unable to break free.
Ethan Smith escorted him all the way back to the Southern Province and brought him to the Boundless Temple in the Southern Province.
It was said that this temple was left behind by the Ancient Buddha of the Western Region, renowned for its power to cleanse the soul.
While the Boundless Temple had beco uninhabited, within the temple still held powerful Buddhist Law that could suppress cultivators.
“What are you planning!” Watching the Boundless Temple, the Old Demon had a foreboding feeling.

But Ethan Smith ignored his outburst and led him into the Boundless Temple.
However, as soon as Ethan Smith stepped through the grand entrance of the Boundless Temple, he sensed a powerful presence.

As they reached the Buddha statue, Ethan Smith was just about to speak when the man turned around.
Ethan Smith froze as he recognized him – it was none other than Drexel, who had disappeared for a long ti!
Seeing Ethan Smith, Drexel was also taken aback. He furrowed his brows and asked, “Ethan Smith? What are you doing here?”
“Damn it, I should be the one asking you!” Ethan Smith advanced and landed a punch on Drexel’s chest.
“Where have you been? Why didn’t you show up during our fight with Denton Horton?” Ethan Smith couldn’t help questioning him.
Drexel sneered and retorted, “What’s Denton Horton got to do with ? Why should I appear? Does it concern ?”
Ethan Smith paused. Drexel’s logic was indeed reasonable.
Consequentially, Ethan Smith didn’t further probe into this matter and switched to another topic, “What are you doing here?”
Upon hearing this, Drexel imdiately clasped his hands together and said, “Amitabha Buddha, I’ve killed countlessly. Thus, I’m here to cleanse my sins.”
“Really? You’re repenting?” Ethan Smith exclaid in surprise.
Drexel snorted, “Give a break, your theatrics are too much.”
“The one who’s putting up a show is you, killing countless on one hand and praying on the other. I reckon you’ll soon be a target of Demon-slaying Peak,” Ethan Smith retorted.
“Demon-slaying Peak? No, no, no.” Drexel waved his hand.
“This is rely a part of my dao technique, so I can’t possibly beco a target of the Demon-slaying Peak.”
Having said this, Drexel turned his gaze to the Old Demon.
“Who’s this?” Drexel asked.
Infuriated, the Old Demon retorted, “None of your damn business!”

Seeing Drexel’s provoking deanor, Ethan Smith quickly stepped in front of Drexel.
“It’s perfect timing, co with in a few days to take care of so business,” Ethan Smith quickly changed the subject.
Drexel replied with a sarcastic scoff, “Help you? In your dreams.”
“Don’t forget, this body of yours is given by ,” Ethan Smith replied with a roll of his eyes.
“Really? I don’t recall that. Are there any witnesses?” Drexel responded shalessly.
Knowing that Drexel couldn’t be bound by morals nor ethics, Ethan Smith didn’t further argue, he imdiately altered his phrase, “It’s to kill soone. This also fits your dao of cultivation.”
