The candy in the candy house is so abundant that she could eat it for a lifeti and never finish it.
And the clothes in the walk-in closet, they’re so plentiful that she could have a new outfit every day.
She truly couldn’t understand the world of the wealthy.
"Too much? I think it’s not enough," Ethan raised his eyebrows.
"And what do you think is enough?" Seraphina was curious.
Ethan smirked, a mischievous smile spreading across his face, his eyes filled with confidence, "Enough to make you the happiest woman in the world, so happy that you’d never want to leave .
He wanted Seraphina to never be able to leave him.
Seraphina was speechless, and Ethan thought of sothing else, his smile even more flamboyant, "It seems I don’t need money either."
"Hmm."
"In bed, I can make you happy too, and make you unable to leave ," Ethan’s eyes lifted wickedly, looking extrely enticing.
"..."
Seraphina didn’t want to speak anymore, gulping down two sips of water from her glass, pretending she hadn’t heard.
Before long, the waiter served the chef-prepared Wellington steak, respectfully placing it in front of them.
Seraphina cut through the crispy outer pastry, revealing the tender, juicy steak inside, skewering a piece and putting it in her mouth; the layered textures exploded in her mouth.
This was the best steak she had ever eaten in her life.
"Do you like it?" Ethan was confident in his arrangents, knowing this dish would suit her taste.
"I told you I’d take you to taste all the world’s culinary delights."
Seraphina nodded, "It’s delicious, thank you."
He looked at the steak in front of Seraphina, signaling with his eyes.
Seraphina understood his aning, cutting a piece of her steak and offering it to Ethan.
Ethan slightly opened his mouth, biting into this small piece of steak, his eyes like whirlpools, fixed on Seraphina.
She felt as if Ethan wasn’t eating the steak but was consuming her.
Ethan swallowed the steak, wiping his mouth with a napkin, "Hmm, obedient."
"..."
Seraphina looked helplessly at her hand; it really was becoming increasingly disobedient, so proactively feeding Ethan.
"This dish is indeed good, but it’s not the best. When I have so free ti, I’ll take you to A Country to taste the most delicious steak made by the world’s top chefs," Ethan promised Seraphina.
"Once you’re done, shall we go on vacation?" That was Seraphina’s promise to Ethan.
"Hmm, when I’m done."
Actually, Ethan knew it was impossible to completely finish work, especially with the governnt affairs piled up from his recent injury, even with Nathan working tirelessly, the workload was still challenging.
Seraphina didn’t speak anymore, focusing intently on eating the dish in front of her, occasionally feeding Ethan a few pieces.
Several more dishes were served in succession; although they were delicious, they lacked the surprise of the steak.
The last dish was a piece of cake.
A dark blue triangular cake was presented on a plate of the sa color.
The base of the cake was adorned with so gold foil, the entire plate and cake sprinkled with white starry dots.
A simple piece of cake, yet its sophistication and expense could not be hidden.
Seraphina gently scooped a small piece, putting it in her mouth.
At the mont it touched her lips, Seraphina was astonished, feeling a huge impact as a dessert lover.
It’s so delicious!
"This is even better than the steak," Seraphina’s eyes filled with admiration.
Ethan was unsurprised by her reaction, nonchalantly saying, "Of course it’s delicious; it’s the signature dish of this restaurant, and only available to three global black diamond VIP patrons."
Having said that, he summoned his bodyguard.
The bodyguard carefully placed the all-black black diamond VIP card on the table.
Ethan pushed it towards Seraphina, implying she could go anyti she wanted to taste it in the future.
Seraphina didn’t take it, simply scooping another spoonful of the cake, observing the layered ingredients inside, saying, "Even eating cake has its hierarchies, huh."
Truly a master of marketing.
"That’s reality; without such hierarchies, this cake wouldn’t be worth much."
Ethan didn’t eat the cake, pushing it towards Seraphina’s side, lightly saying, "Besides this cake, everything you own is sothing only the highest class can use, things ordinary people would spend their entire lives unable to touch even a scrap of your clothing’s fabric."
Seraphina bit her spoon, her gaze becoming complex.
"Life is unequal from birth, so you may as well keep yourself at the pinnacle, living high above others, so they can only envy."
Ethan’s words had an intriguing effect, subtly plucking at the strings of Seraphina’s heart.
Ethan wasn’t joking; he was willing to make Seraphina so unique for a lifeti.
"Heh," Seraphina chuckled.
"Why? What’s funny?" Ethan’s eyes turned cold.
"I’m laughing because Young Master Sterling has beco smarter," Seraphina looked at him.
Was she mocking him? This feeling was truly uncomfortable.
Seraphina continued, "You used to only use the most violent thods, imprisoning so I couldn’t leave."
"But now, you weave a haven for , letting indulge in all opulence."
It’s easy to go from frugality to luxury, but hard to go from luxury to frugality.
This is an everlasting truth.
If it were any other girl, she might actually get lost in it, unable to extricate herself.
"So, do you want to drown in this dream? Never to wake up." Seraphina smiled ambiguously.
"Firstly, this isn’t a dream; there’s never a risk of it shattering. Secondly, isn’t it good to indulge in the kingdom I’ve built for you, Seraphina?" Ethan countered.
But Seraphina did not answer directly.
She scooped another spoonful of cake and offered it to Ethan.
Ethan took the spoon, eating the cake, refreshing and not too sweet.
Only then did she ask, "Ethan, is there sothing that’s so important it holds your entire reason for living?"
"Yes," Ethan lowered his eyes, "When I go insane, personally ending Ryan’s life."
Seraphina smiled bitterly, "I used to be consud by thoughts of revenge, but then what? It’s like a part of my heart was missing, nothing left to sustain my existence."
"Eventually I realized I have to rebuild that place, and only once I accomplish that, will the rest of my life be peaceful."
As she spoke, Seraphina’s eyes sparkled, filled not only with determination but a hint of anticipation, anticipating the new Veridian Isle.
Damn, she was beautiful.
Ethan gazed enticingly at Seraphina, his heart tickled like it was being scratched by kittens.
But at the sa ti annoyed by her words, why couldn’t a lifeti with him be enough for happiness?
Next, Ethan beckoned to Seraphina, "Co here."
Seraphina didn’t resist, putting down the cake and walking over to Ethan’s side.
"Ah——" Seraphina exclaid, not expecting Ethan to suddenly pull her onto his lap, holding her tightly from behind, his breath warm against her ear.
"What if I say, besides that, the only thing that keeps going is you?"
