The servants nearby didn’t expect Ann Vaughn to be so bold; if it was possible to take action, she wouldn’t waste words and directly trimd Kevin Sheridan’s hair to the scalp.

Despite the shock, they felt a bit thrilled. How could they not?!

Kevin Sheridan felt his head slowly turning cooler and struggled fervently in Ann Vaughn’s grasp, "Let go of ! You low-class person, a bastard without a mother to teach you! Let go!"

Upon hearing Kevin Sheridan’s insults, Ann Vaughn chuckled, "You curse pretty well; who taught you?"

"You’re a bastard! A mongrel! You’re a phony miss! You’re the bastard from your mother’s affair—" Kevin Sheridan started crying and wailing loudly, kicking incessantly at Ann Vaughn to vent his anger, "Little Wolf! Co and bite her!"

"Bunny!" Upon hearing his owner’s command, the husky rushed up intending to bite Ann Vaughn’s leg, but before it could succeed, Uncle Vance promptly pulled the leash and expelled it.

Ann Vaughn then lifted the teary-faced Kevin Sheridan like he was trash, tossing him onto the ground and looking at him coldly.

"Is your crying done?"

Kevin Sheridan wailed louder, face stained with tears; normally, the servants would have co to comfort him.

The more arrogant soone is, the more they bully the weak and fear the strong. When Kevin Sheridan realized that his cries were ineffective, he grew even more afraid of Ann Vaughn, and his sobbing quieted considerably.

"Good, if you’re done crying, get up and clean this place until I’m satisfied." Ann Vaughn glanced at the nearby servants, "Please bring the cleaning tools over."

"You’re making , a young master, do nial work?!" Kevin Sheridan’s eyes widened incredulously.

Ann Vaughn looked at him calmly, "What is a low-class person? Soone who can’t control their behavior, has no restraint over themselves, even indulges their animals to harm others, is what I’d call a low-class person. Do you think you fit that description?"

Kevin Sheridan’s face turned red with embarrassnt and sha, and he imdiately wanted to run away and find soone.

However, before he could sprint away, Ann Vaughn said softly, "Go on, run. But it’s like you can escape the temple but not the monk; you run today, every ti your hair grows back, I’ll co to your ho and school to shave it off completely."

If he liked cutting people’s hair so much...

She would ensure that hearing the word "haircut" would make him shiver in the future.

See if he’d still be cocky.

Kevin Sheridan touched his unevenly cut scalp and nearly broke down crying.

Why did he provoke this bad woman?!

The servants held back laughter and imdiately followed Ann Vaughn’s instructions, bringing the cleaning tools.

Kevin Sheridan sobbed with hiccups as he indignantly cleaned the living room.

Ann Vaughn instructed the servants to bring her breakfast to the living room, personally overseeing Kevin Sheridan.

More than half an hour passed, and Kevin Sheridan cried while battling the small debris on the floor, not even halfway through cleaning the living room.

At that mont, a scream ca from the staircase at the side of the living room.

"Hayden! Goodness—"

Kevin Sheridan’s mother, Eleanor Bennett, stood on the staircase, covering her mouth, eyes full of shock at her son.

But was this even her son?

Clearly, it was a bald donkey!

Eleanor Bennett hurried down the stairs and rushed to Kevin Sheridan, cradling his dog-chewed-looking forehead, and imdiately scread, "Who did this to you?! Tell mommy! Mommy won’t let them off!"

A servant couldn’t bear it and spoke up, "Ma’am, Young Master Hayden cut Miss Vaughn’s hair first, then insulted her. Miss Vaughn’s punishnt is already lenient."

If Mr. Sheridan or Master Stanley heard what Kevin said earlier, he wouldn’t be able to walk out of the Sheridan Family door today.

Eleanor Bennett was taken aback and, following the servant’s gaze, noticed Ann Vaughn drinking coffee, astonished.

"We’re all family; can’t we talk things through without resorting to action?" Eleanor Bennett’s arrogance shrank a bit, holding Kevin Sheridan dearly.

Ann Vaughn set down her coffee cup, gaze enigmatically leveled at Eleanor Bennett, "Ma’am, why not ask your son what he called ?"

Eleanor Bennett felt an ominous foreboding and patted Kevin Sheridan’s back, asking him, "What did you say?"

"It’s not who said it!" Kevin Sheridan cried out, "It was Zachary Lancaster who said this woman is a bastard from her mother’s affair, the lowest of the low—I only heard him say it, wah—"

Upon hearing this, Ann Vaughn turned her gaze, resting her chin as she pondered deeply.

She had no grievances with the Lockwood Family; why were they slandering her reputation?

Kevin Sheridan’s brief statent left Eleanor Bennett issuing cold sweat on her back.

How did the Lockwood Family get involved?!

If Stanley Sheridan heard this...

"Is this how you teach your son, Charles Sheridan, Eleanor Bennett?"

Speak of the devil; Stanley Sheridan appeared in the living room at so unnoticeable point, his face dark as he glared at them.

Charles Sheridan stood behind him, continuously apologizing, "Brother, calm down; it’s just childish ignorance and nonsense. Please don’t take it seriously; we never harbored such thoughts."

"Yes, dear brother, Hayden was beguiled by the Lockwood Family. He absolutely didn’t an it that way." Eleanor Bennett clung tightly to Kevin Sheridan, "We’ll surely discipline Hayden well and won’t let him interact with the Lockwood Family anymore."

End of conversation, Eleanor Bennett pushed Kevin Sheridan before Ann Vaughn, making him apologize.

Under his mother’s pressure, Kevin Sheridan reluctantly mumbled "sorry" repeatedly.

Ann Vaughn watched him, and as it turned out, the little brat looked back at her, tears welling in his eyes as she glanced over.

Evidently, he was terrified.

"No next ti," she said lightly, considering the matter closed.

Eleanor Bennett and Charles Sheridan breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing her not hold a grudge, Stanley Sheridan couldn’t say much, though he was dissatisfied with the result.

Kevin Sheridan was just a kid, but Sweetie was still a baby in his heart!

How exactly did Charles Sheridan teach this child?!

"Don’t let Kevin wander around; get him into so tutoring and enrichnt classes. If you don’t cultivate him now, it’ll be too late later." Stanley Sheridan frowned, instructing Charles Sheridan solemnly.

"That’s right, big brother; I just intended to do that too. Kids shouldn’t be too idle."

Hearing their conversation, Kevin Sheridan thought of his future days and completely broke down.

After Charles Sheridan’s family left, Stanley Sheridan’s gaze lingered on Ann Vaughn’s long hair for a long ti, then he called her into the garden.

"Sweetie, have a seat here," Stanley Sheridan pointed to the soft stool before him.

"Okay," Ann Vaughn was slightly puzzled but sat down anyway.
