Ann Vaughn didn’t manage to leave The Imperial Capital as she had hoped.

Thanks to the booming sales of the aromatherapy ball, the Imperial Glory Branch has gained notoriety in The Imperial Capital and surrounding cities; it’s the perfect opportunity to launch a new product.

The company’s higher-ups naturally wouldn’t miss out on this opportunity. After determining a general direction for the new product, they imdiately convened a eting to discuss which product to choose as a successor.

However, all their proposals were rejected by Elias Hawthorne.

The reason was simple: their ideas were either too common, with similar products already on the market, or too far-fetched, lacking practicality, and uncertain if they could even be developed.

Elias suspected that their heads had been inflated by the sales performance of the aromatherapy ball, causing them to float so high.

So he ruthlessly sent them all back to redo the proposals.

Upon hearing this from her assistant, Ann Vaughn laughed heartily as she cuddled the soft Little Dumpling, not surprised that Elias was so frustrated. If it were her, she’d also need so alone ti.

They even wrote about sothing like a Youthful Beauty Pill—did the executive reading fantasy novels late at night co up with that?

After laughing, Ann Vaughn sent a ssage to Elias: It’s okay to slow down the progress of the new product; even if it can’t surpass the aromatherapy ball’s performance, it at least shouldn’t hold things back.

Kenny snuggled against Ann Vaughn, dutifully playing the role of a pillow.

What choice did he have? Mommy found the pillow not soft enough, so Kenny had to put up with it.

Elias soon replied to her: Have you seen their proposal? Do you have any good suggestions?

Ann Vaughn leaned back on the sofa, propping up her chin with one hand, pondering that the sales performance of the aromatherapy ball was so outstanding in the industry, suitable for all kinds of people.

The malls and counters they collaborated with repeatedly requested restocking, showing just how popular the aromatherapy balls were.

And with their spokesperson being the award-winning actress Quinn, and celebrities who knew her consecutively sharing the advertisent, more and more people would know about the aromatherapy ball and Imperial Glory’s na.

Therefore, the new product couldn’t be too lackluster; it wasn’t aiming to surpass but to maintain stability.

Otherwise, it would give people the impression that Imperial Glory was just a flash in the pan with no real capabilities.

So the question arose of what the new product should primarily focus on developing.

Just as Ann Vaughn was racking her brain with no solution, the inner room’s door was flung open with a "bang" by Susie Somrs, who ca out clutching her stomach, slightly hunched over, her voice a few decibels lower than usual.

"Quick, help, I’m dying, seriously—" Susie approached, and Ann Vaughn quickly caught her, noticing her lips trembling, "Help brew so brown sugar water, I’m about to die..."

"Are you having your period?" Ann Vaughn quickly helped her to sit down, poured her a cup of hot water, then picked up her hand to massage, "By the ti the water is ready, you’d be in too much pain... Why didn’t you say earlier?"

Dysnorrhea, such a monstrous ordeal, could even make soone as tough as Susie succumb to its tornt every month.

Kenny’s little ears twitched, a vague mory flitting through his mind.

"Before the fifth of every month, make sure your mommy drinks a cup of Motherwort jujube tea daily. Before the tenth, have her drink brown sugar ginger tea as well, or she’ll be very uncomfortable, you rember?"

"Kenny knows all that. But aren’t you the one doing that usually?"

"If I’m not around soday, you’re the only one who can take care of your mommy."

"What about Mommy herself?"

"She can’t resist cold drinks, so you can’t rely on her."

This flashback ca to an end with Kenny imagining a line of black on top of his head.

If Mommy found out The Archfiend talked about her like this behind her back, she’d definitely be mad!

Not knowing this conversation between Cyrus Hawthorne and Kenny, Ann Vaughn rembered sothing while massaging Susie, and she went back to her room with a shuffle to grab it.

"What’s this?" Susie weakly reclined on the sofa, slling the herbs Ann Vaughn placed under her nose. "Though my childhood dream was to catch goats like the Goat Village, I have no interest in eating grass."

"Pff. This is known as bur-reed. I discovered it behind my grandma’s house; it’s very effective for pain relief," Ann Vaughn explained as she squeezed the bur-reed to extract its juice, letting Susie sniff it while applying so on her abdon.

However, bur-reed is most effective for more severe pain.

It does almost nothing for mild period cramps, and for soone like Ann Vaughn who experiences leg and abdominal aches that, while not severe, are enough to be tornting, it’s quite a tragedy.

Thus, since discovering this new herb, Ann Vaughn used bur-reed as the main ingredient in pain dications.

After applying the bur-reed for a bit, Susie felt like the ’drill’ digging into her abdon finally ceased, easing the twisting pain in her stomach.

"What’s this treasure? It seems less painful now..." Susie marveled as she touched her abdon, feeling the erald green juice, and quickly rubbed it back in, afraid the effects might fade.

anwhile, Little Dumpling took note of the herb na Ann Vaughn murmured earlier, turned to the kitchen to scoop out what had been brewed, and ca back. "Godmother, here you go."

"What is this?" Susie asked, holding the cup, puzzled.

Ann Vaughn glanced over and explained: "Turric and nut-grass, both help to regulate and relieve pain. I just checked your pulse; drinking so will be good for your body."

But compared to this taste, Ann Vaughn preferred brown sugar ginger tea.

Susie was nearly moved to tears, her eyes misty, "What virtues did I accumulate in my past life to have you guys caring for at such ghostly tis?" She hugged Ann Vaughn after speaking, "It’s so good to have a friend who understands dicine."

When she used to live at the Master Moore Family estate, not to ntion the period cramps, she had to endure the pain and reset dislocated limbs herself.

Silas Master Moore took care of her initially, but later... it’s best not to ntion that scumbag.

Ann Vaughn was a little embarrassed by her display, "You better drink it all, not a drop wasted. It’s my precious baby’s thoughtful gesture..."

As she finished speaking, the fog in Ann Vaughn’s mind cleared up as if parted by hands, revealing a clear view.

"What’s wrong, Mommy?" Little Dumpling asked, puzzled.

"Darling! Mommy’s got an idea for the new product!" Ann Vaughn exclaid joyfully, planting a kiss on Kenny’s cheek, her eyes full of delight, "A pain relief patch for period cramps, just a small patch on the abdon ensures no pain all day!"

Susie savored the ginger tea happily, nodding at the suggestion, "I think it’s feasible. Eight out of ten won suffer from period cramps; if this can be made, it would be a blessing for won."

Painkillers aren’t good for the body in excess, and most of those nstrual pain patches on the market are just scams. Susie had been duped before.

"This isn’t hard to make; the key is the bur-reed. I’m not sure if there’s enough to use," Ann Vaughn furrowed her brows.
