Ann Vaughn wasn’t planning to reopen the small clinic for business yet, she just wanted to tidy up the entrance that had been smashed to pieces earlier.

To her surprise, not only were there people outside the clinic, but the doors had already been repaired, looking even more refined than before, with new potted plants placed at the entrance.

It could be said to be completely renewed.

She almost didn’t recognize it.

However, this incident gave Ann an inspiration: she didn’t necessarily have to sit at the small clinic every day, waiting for its reputation to spread.

She clearly had better ways.

Whether it’s extracting dicine or making pharmaceuticals.

It was then when Juliana Jacobs called.

Back when the scandal occurred, Juliana specially posted a tweet to support her, so her fans didn’t turn against her and even spoke up for her to so extent.

She first asked about her situation, and although she sounded tired, there was an indescribable vitality in her voice, indicating that Sharon Jacobs seed to be recovering well.

"Annie, do you still have that Jade Cream you ntioned last ti? Sharon has a lot of scars, and she’s naturally beauty-conscious. I’m afraid she might feel self-conscious in the future, so..." Juliana cautiously asked.

Ann was montarily surprised before responding, "The Jade Cream can indeed lighten scars, but the effect is not as good as a scar removal ointnt."

The scars on Sharon’s body were accumulated over ti, caused by the erosion of parasites, visible on the surface, and would beco more prominent as she grows older. The Jade Cream wouldn’t be of much use to her.

Juliana wasn’t disappointed upon hearing this. After all, most products on the market claiming to remove or lighten scars are almost ineffective, so the Jade Cream having any effect at all was a pleasant surprise for her.

She was about to say that the cream would still suffice when Ann continued, "I don’t have the ingredients to make the scar removal ointnt at the mont. If you want, you can pick it up from in a few days."

"This... that’s really troubling you. Just let know any ingredients you need, and I will imdiately have soone find and deliver them to you!"

Ann agreed with her, as finding the ingredients required for a scar removal ointnt, though not more expensive than Jade Cream, was not easy.

After the call, Ann went to the apartnt she rented earlier to get so things, and then she returned to The Water Terrace.

In the bedroom, Ann sat at the desk, shaking an almond-colored extract in her hand, a look of vexation in her eyes.

This was a new drug she synthesized based on a life-extending potion, capable of saving lives in ergency situations and beneficial to the human body, but it significantly reduced the life-extending effect.

Put simply, this couldn’t be considered a true life-extension potion.

No wonder her grandfather always said not to easily touch the life-extension potion-related literature, as it could easily make an excellent pharmacist feel frustrated.

But Ann didn’t feel too disappointed, instead, she found the challenge stimulating, as easily resolved problems are not really problems at all.

As expected, Juliana was as efficient as always, delivering the ingredients to Ann’s Water Terrace that very afternoon, with a large quantity, including several valuable ingredients Ann hadn’t even ntioned.

When Ann was young, she once made a scar removal ointnt under her grandfather’s guidance; within three days, it worked on the scars on her knee.

Extracting the essence from the ingredients, then dropping an appropriate amount into the ointnt base she prepared in advance, and letting it sit overnight for the essence to fully perate marked the completion of the scar removal ointnt.

It may seem easy, but the difficulty lies in the extraction.

Every pharmacist can make dicine, that’s a given.

But a pharmacist who is inherently close to the materials and has the ability to extract their essence is almost nonexistent.

That’s why Old Master Vaughn never told anyone about Ann’s talent, nor did he let Ann tell others, to avoid bringing trouble upon herself.

With the ample ingredients Juliana provided, Ann made an extra ten scar removal ointnts.

Additionally, she ca across an ingredient she needed for a healing agent, which made her quite delighted.

Two days later, Juliana ca to pick up the scar removal ointnt, and Ann gave her all ten ointnts, along with a vial of oral healing agent.

Juliana didn’t expect Ann to actually make the scar removal ointnt, and a total of ten at that.

The packaging was just an ordinary greenish-blue porcelain bottle, but the three characters "scar removal ointnt" inscribed at the top with a brush were elegant yet grand, giving the whole bottle a distinguished appearance.

It also made Juliana all the more eager to see what effect the contents would have.

If it were anyone else claiming they could make scar removal ointnts that worked, Juliana would surely scoff and tell them to get lost.

But Ann was different; she completely trusted her capabilities, not because of her identity as Mrs. Hawthorne this ti, but simply because of who Ann was as a person.

"Annie, thank you so much. When Sharon gets better, I’ll definitely bring her to thank you in person." Juliana was at a loss for words, as Ann had helped her and her daughter multiple tis.

If not for her kind warning last ti, Juliana and her daughter might still be deceived by that beast in human clothing.

They wouldn’t know how they died until it was too late!

Ann’s lips curled into a gentle smile, "It’s just a small matter, don’t worry, Sharon will recover soon."

Every ti she saw Juliana, she couldn’t help but recall sitting with Cian in front of the TV when they were kids.

But later, she beca so fond of Juliana’s role in movies that she idolized her as a celebrity, constantly bringing her up in conversations.

This resulted in Cian ignoring her for quite so ti, and she tugged on his clothes asking why he wouldn’t pay attention to her.

He pursed his lips, showing a displeased expression for the first ti, and wrote on paper, "As long as you have that woman, it’s enough!"

Recalling this, Ann was taken aback for a mont; she seed to rember, Cian had once told her his na.

Back then, because she didn’t know his na, and loved reading "The Little Prince," she’d follow him, calling him "Little Prince."

Though his vocal cords were damaged, he had written down his na on paper.

And because the strokes of those three characters were too long for her, she skipped over them and continued calling him Little Prince, deliberately not telling him her na, happily letting him call her Little Fox.

At that ti, Cian would always show her a helpless yet gentle gaze, gently rubbing the back of her neck with his hand.

She still rembers his indulgent and doting smile, and how he would then plant a gentle kiss on her cheek.

"It doesn’t matter if you don’t tell your na, even if we’re apart, I’ll find you and hide you well. Not a rose or a little fox, just my own little world."
