Regarding the matter with Felicity Sterling and Serena Sullivan, when Eldest Master Sterling and the others arrived, they overheard so things. Since they weren’t present, it wasn’t good to say much. Naturally, when leaving, Felicity didn’t acknowledge them, and they didn’t greet her.
Simon Sterling chatted with the old master for a while before leaving. Felicity Sterling was hungry, but upset, she refused to eat dinner.
Mrs. Sterling, feeling sorry, held Felicity’s hand and together they went out. After Mr. Sterling got into the car, Wyatt Sterling opened the door for Mrs. Sterling, but before the car door closed, Mrs. Sterling said to him, "Wyatt, you take another car back."
Wyatt Sterling had co in the sa car with Mrs. Sterling and Felicity, but now, Mr. Sterling joined them, so he had already considered taking another car back himself.
Mrs. Sterling unnecessarily pointed it out, leaving him a bit uncomfortable.
At The Sterling Residence, he had helped Serena, which made Mrs. Sterling resent him. Rembering Mrs. Sterling’s "white-eyed wolf" comnt, he recalled his childhood at the old residence.
Although the old master and mistress favored him, he saw Mr. Sterling twice a month and Mrs. Sterling even less.
That feeling of abandonnt has always been there, especially strong now.
Fortunately, he wasn’t the kind of person to overly dwell, and he forgot it when he turned and got into the car.
Inside the car, Mr. Sterling and Mrs. Sterling sat side by side, with Felicity Sterling in the front passenger seat.
Felicity, feeling wronged, had reddened eyes and said nothing.
"Felicity suffered a lot today. We’ll take her out for a good al tomorrow."
Mrs. Sterling brought it up on purpose.
Mr. Sterling asked lightly, "What grievances did she suffer?"
The tone was mocking, as if he wasn’t asking Mrs. Sterling about what just happened to Felicity, but implying Felicity hadn’t suffered any grievances.
"What do you an by that?"
Mrs. Sterling questioned loudly, "Serena is your daughter, and so is Felicity."
This matter was only kept from Wyatt.
Not telling Wyatt was due to fearing he would find out soday that he and Serena were actually siblings, which would be unfavorable for Mrs. Sterling and Felicity.
With Wyatt not around, Mrs. Sterling boldly brought up the issue.
"Felicity absolutely did not push her."
Mrs. Sterling angrily reiterated, the front-seat Felicity Sterling turned her head to look at Mr. Sterling, "Dad, I really didn’t."
Today she was so sad because she wasn’t trusted by anyone.
Now that they have Serena, they don’t cherish her anymore, including Mr. Sterling.
"She wants to compete with Felicity for favoritism." Mrs. Sterling comnted coldly again, "She deliberately fell to make the old master punish Felicity."
"I never said I don’t trust Felicity." Mr. Sterling’s words made Felicity stop sobbing, and Mrs. Sterling smiled slightly too.
"It’s not that you must stand up for Felicity, it’s just that Serena, having learned such scheming ways, was taught by Claire Sullivan."
These things, Mrs. Sterling never used to say, nor dare to say. Now she indirectly suggested that Serena’s scheming was taught by Claire.
"June Kane."
As Mrs. Sterling spoke proudly, at her side Mr. Sterling’s voice turned cold, she turned her head to face his icy, deep eyes.
"Today, about how Serena fell, you know more than anyone!"
"What do you an by that?"
A guilty Mrs. Sterling repeatedly questioned.
"Could it be that Felicity can’t compare to Serena, who grew up away?"
He had raised Felicity for so many years, how could there not be feelings!
"I never said it was Felicity!"
Mr. Sterling’s voice turned cold, his eyes darkly glaring made Mrs. Sterling nervous.
She knew best what she had done.
