She ran breathlessly to the bus stop and sat down on a bench, turning off her phone with a vacant look in her eyes, feeling extrely frustrated.
The bus arrived, and she got on to take a seat.

Suddenly, a horn sounded not far from her. Without looking, she just kept walking until an umbrella blocked the rain over her head.
Her arm was forcefully grabbed, and only then did she look at the person.
"Are you an idiot?! Why are you wandering around in the rain instead of going ho?!"

Jingsheng turned and walked to the back door of the car, pulling it open and getting in.
Her whole body was soaked, and the car seat beca wet.
Gu Xichen got into the car and threw her a towel.
Then he drove off.
The car soon entered Qinyuan District.
When they got out one after another, Gu Lili seeing Jingsheng drenched, told her to take a shower and prepared a set of dry clothes for her.
While she was taking a shower, Gu Lili asked Gu Xichen, "What happened?"
"Jin Miaomiao ca to see today, she wanted a marriage alliance."
"Did you agree?"

"I’ll think it over carefully." He got up, "I’ll go back now."
"Alright, drive safely."
When Jingsheng ca out, she didn’t see Gu Xichen, and asked, "Did he leave?"
"Yes, he left."
Jingsheng sat down beside her dejectedly, "Master, it looks like he’s going to agree to Jin Miaomiao."
"Not necessarily." Gu Lili gave a slight smile, "He knows what he wants and what he doesn’t. It’s a big decision; he’ll consider it carefully."
"But he is already wavering."
"His wavering depends on feeling that there’s not much difference between Jin Miaomiao and other won, but she isn’t all that attractive to him."
