Dante remain frozen the entire ti Dove was there. And even when she passed by him, every particle of her heavenly and familiar scent was caught by him. His eyes followed her to the staircase, but not even once did she turn her back and ascended up the stairs, leaving his heart beating like crazy.
It would be odd to stare at her for more long and he turned his head back, and put a hand on his drumming left side of his chest. Calix stepped front to him, and whispered in his ears, "Boss, she is Miss Dove." He said it because, Dante had denied to see Dove’s picture and had wanted to see her in person the first ti he sees her.
Dante sighed as he slowly resud his steps towards the door, and nodded, "Y- Yes, I know." And his answer made Calix raise an eyebrow and he looked at Dante and heard him say again, "I can feel."
But what Dante did not know was that, after Dove had alighted the stairs, she for once turned back, her eyes on the first man leading the group. She stared at his direction slightly titling her head before resuming her steps to first go to her room.
And all this interactions, Senior Sterling had been observing with a curious look on his face. And after both Dove and Dante had gone, he chuckled and murmured, "It is interesting." And then he went back to his room.

That whole day, Dante had his mind kept floating back to Dove, and his heart kept beating like crazy. Finally after getting his things done for the day, when he finally got back ho at night, he fell back on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Now he finally had all the freedom to occupy his mind with Dove. And he wasted no minute doing that.
He rembered their brief exchange and felt his heart filling with butterflies.
Oh God.. She was just like how he imagined. But only more gorgeously beautiful. And her scent, it was the sa. That was sa that had been imprinted in his mind. That was why, even before Calix told him that she was Dove, she knew it.
Dante was just dreaming, when he rembered sothing and he suddenly frowned. What a minute. She saw him. But why did she not recognise him. And moreover! She did not even look back at him even once! And at that thought! Dante sat up right!
In the next five minutes. In the living room, Calix was summoned by Dante. And he had a very serious expression on his face. Looking at him, Calix too got a frown on his face, and he wondered if sothing very serious occurred. Was there an ergency in the company. All kinds of thoughts ran in Calix’s mind, as he looked at the dead serious expression on Dante’s face, and the aura that he was oozing out.
After what seed forever, which in reality, just a couple minutes had passed, looking his Boss walk to and fro, Calix finally cleared his throat and said, "Boss? Did sothing happen?" Dante stopped to face Calix and he said, "Calix, how could you not notice such a huge thing earlier?"
Calix blinked his eyes, looking at his Boss, in askance, while he racked his brains wondering what was the matter, and then heard Dante say. Was there a huge ergency in the company?! Calix wondered, and now his heart rate was catching speed.
Were the shareholders creating problems? Was the party here creating troubles again? He had a lot of assumptions in his head, but he did not know what. And just when Calix was about to open his mouth to ask what it was, he heard Dante’s frustrated voice, "Calix! She did not even rember ! She did not even recognise even after looking at my face!"
"...!?!" And that was it. Calix was rendered speechless like never before. He just stared at Dante in disbelief and felt like he was looking at an entirely different person! It has to be! Because no way in hell, is he the sa Dante Lancaster, he used to work for two days ago! Calix now highly doubted if his Boss was posessed by so kind of Ghost! Because what was this rubbish he was sprewing?!
Calix had heard before that people beco stupid in love. But what he was seeing that, this man may just lose all his brain cells! Where is that high IQ Dante Lancaster he knew?!
"What happen? Why are you not speaking anything?" Dante asked, his voice still tinged with anxious as he was oblivious to the yelling and screaming that Calix was doing in his mind.
Poor Calix, who couldn’t really do anything about it, sighed and then looked at his pitiful Boss. And shook his head again. "Boss." He called softly before saying, "Didn’t I tell you before that she was very heavily intoxicated that night by her friend?" Of course, they knew that it was Nora who had done sothing with her drink. After all, they had caught that waiter in question. Dante had for now let go of Nora, because if not for her, he wouldn’t have this chance. But that doesn’t an he had forgiven her. He would co at her with everything, if she dares to do anything stupid to his woman again.
Well, Calix continued, "She couldn’t even walk straight, least know what her surrounding was. And the next morning, when she woke up, most probably what she did first was her rushing out of the room, realising what had happened.
And when I peeked into the room, after she had left, you were facing to the other side. So, she may have not seen her face. Also, according to our n, she couldn’t walk straight, and her head was spinning and she was walking with the help of support. So, it is obvious, that she may either have not seen your face at all. Or even if she did, she did not see properly, and just a blur." Calix very smartly concluded.
