"Weren’t we, all this ti?"
Lisa blinked her eyes looking at Dove dumbly as she asked that question. "If we were friends, then why did I not know?" She blurted out. Dove shrugged her shoulders and said, "If we were not friends all this ti, then why would I talk you sotis, notifying you about what was happening in my life. And I wouldn’t go out sotis. Nor we would watch movies together or study. We wouldn’t be sitting in front of each other right now."
Lisa blinked her eyes, and now thought about it all. Yes, wasn’t that right! She had clinged herself to Dove and glued herself to her in such a way that they were technically friends! But her mind was still stuck in proving herself and impressing her that she hadn’t even thought about it in this way. After all, they never talked about it! They just did what they did!
Sigh* So embarrassing. Lisa held her forehead and shook her head.
But the very next second, she turned cheerful and said, "Well that is fine! So as official friends, now lets have a good treat~" And seeing her enthusiasm, Dove too smiled, her dimples appearing on her cheeks. She liked this girl. Being around Lisa for this few months, she knew that this girl wasn’t so secretive about people. She did not even hide any of her intentions with her and would say in her face.
Being with her grandfather and involving in business, her grandfather had taught her one thing very well, that was to read and understand and recognise people.
And that was why, Dove liked Lisa.

"It is finally so good to have the Young CEO of Fort Group, one of the fastest rising security firms in the international business world, Dante Lancaster, with ." And Senior Sterling laughed saying that. Dante smiled at Senior Sterling’s words a little shyly and he said, "You are making it sound like such a big deal, Grandpa. I will be shy."
And he rubbed the back of his head.
If anyone who knew Dante for the last five years, they would definitely have a heart attack seeing Dante shying in this way. He looked so adorable to be his own self. It was a good thing that his n were standing outside the room, giving both of them the privacy.
Senior Sterling looked at Dante proudly. He had been checking on Dante’s business.
His father had founded this security firm in another country. And all those years it had been a prominent firms in that country. In four years ago, since Dante took over it at the age of twenty one, he had made it the top security company in that company, and had made it international. And now they are thriving in the international market.
"So, how is everything going on? And did you finally rember that you have to co et this old man?" Senior Sterling asked with a fake tone of scolding. Dante looked at Senior Sterling apologetically and said, "I am so sorry, grandpa. It is that, that so many responsibilities ca on all of a sudden. And though I tried my best, I couldn’t really make ti."
Senior Sterling huffed hearing Dante, and said, "That’s all excuses."
But though he said that, there was an undeniable pride shinning in his eyes. He was proud of him. And Dante knew that. They chatted a bit about the past mories. Then Dante looked around a little, and cleared his throat. He had been in the mansion of quite a while, and he did not see Dove around yet. From what he had seen and found out about, she lives in this mansion itself. And should be here today.
Is she in her room? He wondered.
"Since, the last ti that you had gone from this mansion, when you were still a kid, this is the first ti, you have co here to et ." Senior Sterling said.
Growing up, Dante had always been quite busy running around studying and learning different skills. And he rarely had sothing called free ti. So, whenever he would et ti, oit would be at places, like the company, so cafes, or restuarants, etc.
Dante smiled at Senior Sterling and looked around the mansion, as so of the mories flashed back. When Young Mister and Missus Sterling were alive. He had visited them here for a few years. They were one of the very kind people he knew.
And it is not like he never knew Dove before this. In fact, he had seen here, when he used to visit the mansion. At that ti, she was just a baby. And from what he could rember Dove was a very adorable baby. But as she grew up, he had rarely seen her.
And see what has co to right now. Dante after a while, cleared his throat and asked, "Grandpa, where is Dove? I don’t see her?" and when Senior Sterling heard him ntion her na, he raised an eyebrow, with sothing shining in his eyes, and he said, "Oh, you already know my Granddaughter’s na? I am surprised."
Dante internally bit his tongue, before clearing his throat once more, and said, "That, Grandpa, I have already seen her when she was young. And then, you have already ntion her nas quite a few tis that I have talked to you."
Senior Sterling nodded his head in understanding and said, "Oh, so that is it.
You didn’t used to rember her na quite often at that ti, and I had to tell you again and again." Dante lowered his head a little and thought to himself. ’That’s because I don’t rember things that I am not interested in.’ But of course, he did not say it loud.
anwhile, Senior Sterling stared at Dante while, sothing was going on in his mind. He rembered his granddaughter saying, ’Dante’. Senior Sterling had not beco old and co to this age, with no experience and wisdom at all. Dove was his granddaughter and there was no way, he wouldn’t look into what had happened, specially after she ca ho in that condition and after so many things happened.
And though, he put his source, what he got in return was that, soone had erased the footage of the hall outside the room Dove was in. And he also knew that at the sa ti, Dante was also in the city. And though his location, were kept private, he had a room in that hotel.
Senior Sterling couldn’t unravel everything. But from what he could know was that, Dante was the sa ’Dante’, that Dove ntioned. Though he still had so doubts in his head. But for now, he knew it was better to not force for the answers.
