Wang Hao, despite his eagerness to understand the mysterious figure and that magical aura, knew that his focus at present should be on the developnt of the village.

So, he reluctantly put the matter aside for the ti being.

"The next tasks are going to be tough on you again, Uncle Su!"

As soon as Wang Hao returned to the village, he imdiately went to look for Su Zhenping in the fields.

"What is it? You’re leaving again?"

Su Zhenping could tell from the tone of Wang Hao’s voice what he had in mind.

"Shi Han is starting school soon, and big brother Hao has to take her. It’s her first ti in a new environnt; of course, she needs soone to help her settle in!"

Before Wang Hao could speak, Su Lin explained on his behalf.

Su Zhenping shot Su Lin a disgruntled look, thinking to himself that even before she had married off, her loyalties were already turning outward. Moreover, as this man was about to be taken by soone else, she was still there making excuses for him.

Seeing Su Zhenping with a stern face, Su Lin playfully stuck out her tongue then shut her mouth.

"I can’t be much help staying here. Now that we have such a large area of greenhouses, the output will be unimaginable. I need to secure buyers in advance; otherwise, once the dicinal herbs are ready, it will be too late if I start then."

Wang Hao suddenly beca serious.

Hearing Wang Hao put it that way, Su Zhenping felt it made a lot of sense.

Considering the countless dicinal herbs that were soon to mature, indeed, the selling channels needed to be opened in advance.

"You’re right, this is of utmost importance. You need to arrange the sales channels quickly, especially because in less than two months our dicinal herbs will be ready!"

After giving it so thought, Su Zhenping felt his words were not quite accurate and added.

"It might be less than two months before they’re ready; you have to hurry."

"Don’t worry, Uncle Su, you can leave that to . It’s the affairs of the village that will trouble you!"

Wang Hao smiled.

"Rest assured, with Su Lin helping , there shouldn’t be any problems," said Su Zhenping aningfully.

Wang Hao of course understood Su Zhenping’s intention—he wanted to share the secrets of the Heart of the Dragon and other matters related to the back mountain, to reassure Su Lin into helping him.

Wang Hao had no objection to this because he was very clear about Su Lin’s feelings for him, and he trusted that Su Lin would never let these secrets slip.

"By the way, big brother Hao, it seems Ya Ya has been ill recently. You should see her before you go!"

Su Lin suddenly rembered Zheng Cailian’s daughter and quickly told Wang Hao the situation before he left.

Ya Ya is sick?

Upon hearing this, Wang Hao felt a lurch in his heart, no wonder he hadn’t seen Zheng Cailian since his return.

At this mont, Wang Hao had a mix of concern and reproach in his heart. It was a serious matter that Ya Ya was ill, and yet Zheng Cailian had not inford him.

Without delay, Wang Hao rushed to Zheng Cailian’s ho.

"Haozi, you’re back?"

Upon seeing Wang Hao, Zheng Cailian was quite surprised, as she hadn’t left her house in several days and had no idea of his return.

"Why didn’t you tell sothing this serious had happened at ho? Where’s Ya Ya? How is she now?"

Wang Hao embraced Zheng Cailian, masking his worry with an angry scolding.

Zheng Cailian pointed to Ya Ya’s room, looking like a child who had made a mistake as she followed Wang Hao into the room.

"Ya Ya, Uncle Hao is here to see you!"

As soon as he entered the room, Wang Hao leaned over the bed to touch Ya Ya’s forehead and found it a bit hot.

But the little girl was delighted to see Wang Hao and reached out, wanting him to hold her.

Wang Hao looked at Ya Ya’s exhausted expression with great distress.

"Why didn’t you tell earlier?"

At this, Wang Hao couldn’t help questioning Zheng Cailian.

"You’ve been busy these days too, and I didn’t want to trouble you. Besides, Ya Ya’s illness is a common one. I’ve already taken her to see a doctor, and the doctor said it’s nothing serious. A couple of days on an IV and a few days of rest should do the trick!"

Zheng Cailian explained, though her voice grew fainter.

"How many days has it been since this started?"

Wang Hao still felt uneasy.

"Today’s the fourth day!"

Zheng Cailian answered truthfully.

"Continuing like this won’t do. I’m just about to head to Chicheng County; hurry and pack so things. Let’s go together and get her checked out at a larger hospital."

Wang Hao was decisive, imdiately calling Sun Lao San.

Ya Ya was still so young and now ill; they definitely couldn’t squeeze onto a public bus with Wang Hao and Zheng Cailian, as it was too crowded and might even lead to cross-infection.

Since Wang Hao didn’t have a car himself, he had to rely on Sun Lao San to make arrangents. Wang Hao felt once again that buying a car would be really convenient at tis.

"Hao zi, the doctor said..."

Zheng Cailian didn’t want to make a fuss and was trying to postpone.

"You must listen to on this matter today!"

For the first ti, Wang Hao was so domineering in front of Zheng Cailian, and there was even a hint of bla in his tone.

Just now, Wang Hao had used the power of the Heart of the Dragon to scan Ya Ya’s body and noticed that her heart rate was erratic and her blood was circulating inconsistently, slowing down and speeding up.

This condition was definitely not normal; they must go to a bigger hospital for a thorough check-up.

However, Wang Hao also understood that Zheng Cailian wasn’t a doctor and couldn’t possibly know what was wrong inside Ya Ya’s body, so he didn’t bla her.

Soon, Sun Lao San arrived personally to pick them up in his car.

Since Wang Hao had personally called Sun Lao San, the latter treated it as a serious matter and took charge.

To make Ya Ya more comfortable, Sun Lao San specially arranged a van, which would help reduce so of the bumps.

Ya Ya rarely rode in cars, and they were worried she might get carsick and feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, she was excited all the way, having a good ti, though she still looked a bit exhausted.

But once in the hospital, Ya Ya imdiately beca upset, crying a river when she saw the doctor with a syringe.

She made a ntal note never to trust this Uncle Hao again.

But Wang Hao wasn’t worried at all because a bag of milk candy could sweep away all of Ya Ya’s unhappiness and bring them closer together.

"All the test results will be out tomorrow. You can co to pick them up after work!"

The doctor was polite, recognizing Wang Hao.

The group then returned to the villa, with Xia Xue already ho.

Fortunately, the villa was spacious with plenty of rooms, so even with Zheng Cailian and Ya Ya coming over, it didn’t feel crowded.

But Ya Ya, exhausted from the uproar at the hospital, fell asleep almost as soon as she got back.

"Hao zi, I..."

"Alright, from now on, whether it’s a big or small matter, you must tell !"

Wang Hao took Zheng Cailian into his arms and whispered softly in her ear.

"I’m sorry, Cailian, I shouldn’t have been so harsh on you, but I was just too anxious about Ya Ya’s illness."

Zheng Cailian’s heart lted instantly.

Wang Hao really treated Ya Ya as if she were his own daughter, and Ya Ya liked Wang Hao very much, always asking why Uncle Hao hadn’t co to see her if a few days had passed.

One was the man Zheng Cailian loved, and the other was the daughter they depended on each other for survival. If these two could get along well and have affection for each other, what more could Zheng Cailian wish for?

Moreover, the kindness Wang Hao had shown her didn’t need to be spoken of by others.

At that mont, Zheng Cailian wished she could give everything to Wang Hao, but Qi Shihan and Xia Xue were there.

She worried that making too much noise would lead to discovery, which would be embarrassing.
