After that, Wang Hao beat and kicked the two n rcilessly.

During the ti Wang Hao had spent training with Su Zhenping, not only had his abilities improved, but the Dragon Tattoo Energy in his body had also increased significantly. The two young n were no match for Wang Hao.

It didn’t take more than a couple of moves before Wang Hao had beaten them until their noses were bruised and their faces swollen.

"You were just talking about making money? Who exactly are you making money for? Spill it now, or else I’ll break your legs," Wang Hao threatened, as the two n were already kneeling and begging for rcy.

"It’s the director, the director sent us to watch over them," said Gangzi, his arm twisted into a fracture and wailing in pain, he quickly confessed the truth.

"What director?" Wang Hao asked in confusion.

"It’s the orphanage director!" Gangzi cried out.

Wang Hao was taken aback and had a hunch about this answer, but he was still sowhat shocked to receive confirmation from Gangzi.

That the orphanage director would conspire with these social youths to force these children to beg for money was truly astonishing.

"Let’s go! Take to et this director!" Wang Hao’s anger flared up, and he yelled at the two young n.

The two youths, fearing another beating, complied with Wang Hao’s demands.

In less than an hour, they arrived at the only orphanage in Chicheng County.

To call it an orphanage was a stretch—it was just a few dilapidated brick houses. Dark and damp inside, one could sll an unpleasant odor even from outside.

As Qi Shihan approached the brick houses, she covered her nose and mouth, her eyes showing disgust, but she also looked at the two children with sympathy for living in such an environnt.

Wang Hao entered the brick house with a grim expression. When he felt the bedding, it was all damp, and the plaster on the walls had fallen off, leaving only the bare cent that was flaking everywhere.

The floor was a chaotic ss of dirty clothes and shoes, mingled with trash and the stench of rat feces and urine.

In such a filthy environnt, it would be no surprise if there were rats!

But this was supposed to be an orphanage—they should have soone specially taking care of these children, looking after their basic needs. How could it have turned into this state?

The children living in such a dirty and disordered environnt—who would take responsibility if they fell sick?

However, Wang Hao thought that since the director had colluded with outsiders to have these poor children beg for money, they surely wouldn’t have hired caregivers for them.

"You all live here?" Wang Hao asked, pointing to the filthy room.

The two children nodded vigorously, and Wang Hao, feeling a pang of heartache, pulled them both into an embrace.

Qi Shihan couldn’t help but wipe the tears from her face with her hand, realizing only now how fortunate her own childhood had been by comparison.

"Where’s your director?" Wang Hao asked.

The two children pointed to the far end of a row of rooms.

Wang Hao saw there were four rooms in total; the one at the very end was the largest, with a clothes rack at the door displaying laundered clothes and blankets.

Upon closer inspection, he also noticed that the room was equipped with a solar water heater and an air conditioner.

"Go knock on that door!" Seeing the miserable conditions the children lived in, Wang Hao felt his anger intensify. He kicked Gangzi’s backside, ordering him to go and knock on the director’s door.

Gangzi and the other man, fearing another beating from Wang Hao, scrambled frantically to the door and started pounding on it.

"Who is it? Are you sick or sothing, banging on the door like that?" The door opened and a middle-aged man stepped out, his face unshaven and with a cigarette dangling from his mouth—it didn’t look cheap.

Upon seeing Gangzi and the other man, a smile spread instantly across his face.

"You’ve made the money so quickly?"

The director had just finished speaking when he stretched out his hand towards Gangzi and the other.

Wang Hao knew the director was asking them to hand over the money. He walked over, picked up a broom beside him, and struck the director’s palm with it.

The director quickly withdrew his hand in pain and crouched on the ground.

"Where did you co from? Looking for death, are you?"

The director blew on his hand continuously, glaring at Wang Hao with anger.

Wang Hao ignored him and stood at the door, peering inside the room, where he saw even more wealth.

The furniture was all there, and the tea table was covered with peanuts, fruit, and snacks.

"Director, where are all the children from the orphanage? Where are the other kids?"

Seeing all this made Wang Hao feel even more uncomfortable, and he clenched his fists and asked through gritted teeth.

"None of your damn business!"

The director looked Wang Hao up and down, and because he didn’t know Wang Hao’s background, he cursed irritably.

"You are secretly sending these kids to help young adults extort money, and then you take kickbacks from those young adults. Are you not afraid of retribution for earning this money without conscience?"

Wang Hao stared fiercely at the director, his eyes brimming with a murderous intent.

When the director saw Wang Hao’s eyes, he was so frightened that he took a step back.

Then looking back at Gangzi and the other, their faces swollen and bruised, his expression gradually darkened, and he hurriedly ran into the room.

But before he could shut the door, Wang Hao kicked the door down and went straight inside.

"What... What are you going to do?"

The director, trembling with fear, hid in the corner of the wall and pointed at Wang Hao, saying in a frightened voice.

"If you... if you co any closer, I... I’m going to call the police!"

"Go ahead and call, I’m waiting for you to call the police so they can deal with this matter."

Wang Hao stepped forward and grabbed the director by the collar as he said this.

It seed the director, just like Gangzi and the other, needed to be put in his place.

For such scum, Wang Hao wouldn’t be rciful.

Just as he was about to take action, the entrance was blocked by about ten young n, who were followed by several raggedly dressed children.

It seed like these young n were in league with the director, and probably the kids had collected so money and returned early.

Seeing scars on each of the children, Wang Hao grew even more furious.

Seeing these people return, the director was overjoyed. Taking advantage of Wang Hao’s distraction, he darted behind the young n, pointed at Wang Hao, and yelled.

"This guy is causing trouble and wants to blow the whistle on us. Teach him a lesson and shut him up!"

Those children were already miserable enough, and yet they were also being used to beg for money privately; it was truly hateful.

Wang Hao was just in the mood for so physical exercise, and he clenched his fists and said,

"Co on, all of you, don’t waste my ti!"

"Still so arrogant. You even want to ddle in Brother Wei’s business. Looks like you don’t want to live. Beat him, beat him to death!"

The arrival of so many backup n bolstered the director, who pointed at Wang Hao and yelled.

"Beat him up!"

The young man called Brother Wei changed his expression upon the director’s words and gave the order.

The other young n were about to rush at Wang Hao when Brother Wei stopped them with one hand, then turned around and kicked the director in the waist. The director was instantly kicked to the ground, rolling a couple of tis.

"Brother Wei, what’s going on? Did you hit the wrong person?"

A young man standing behind Brother Wei asked curiously.

Brother Wei’s eyes turned fierce, and he kicked the director twice more, shouting angrily,

"He’s the one I ant to hit, now you guys beat him!"
