Ancestor Mountain.

Graves and burial earth, the angry winds howl.

"Bang"

"Bang"

"Bang"

"What the hell are these things!"

Amidst the fog, angry shouts and booming noises echoed together.

A mass of fog was torn open violently, blood splattered, and two halves of a corpse were ripped apart. A tall figure, with bloodstained armor and a fierce aura, charged out. Its bulging leopard eyes were mostly white, resembling a beast, as it stared at the foggy and paper-strewn mountain forest.

Soon, five or six figures appeared behind him, each looking as if they had just been through a bloody battle.

"General Wei!"

"These people seem to be dead, as if they’ve co from those graves."

Soone spoke from behind, with eyes held in astonishnt, looking ahead.

These people had crawled out from piles of the dead, but now their tones carried a sense of intrigue and horror.

This place is exceedingly strange, ever since entering, more than half of their five senses have been dulled, making them feel restrained.

At that mont, they found themselves in a foggy forest, with tombs of various styles erecting everywhere before them.

Pale smoke drifted, paper fluttered, one by one, tombs erupted, coffins lay open, and inside they were empty.

Wei Wu shook off the blood on his face and leather armor; his leopard eyes, carrying a fierce light, were as black as paint as he looked at those scattered coffins ahead.

"Go!"

"Dig up those intact tombs!"

The grave markers were of varying ages, so appearing very old with faded inscriptions.

According to the previous group that went in, this mountain is a cetery for the nearby county town.

Wei Wu spoke with a calm expression, aiming to verify this suspicion.

Several shadows leaped forward instantly, swishing towards the unopened tombs ahead.

But so just got near when suddenly a boom split a tomb open, with sothing jumping out of the coffin.

For example, a man in a black outfit with a beard and closed eyes, suddenly opened them with no hint of emotion, swinging a knife at the approaching people.

Then, there was a youth wearing a head scarf, holding a long sword, with a ghastly pale complexion, who opened eyes full of whites and swung his sword.

These people, with cultivation levels not high, ranging from Qi Refinent to Profound Body.

Yet, though clearly dead, they leapt out of their tombs to attack.

In a few breaths, these "corpses" were torn to pieces by the several n.

Then they returned, landing in front of Wei Wu.

"General Wei, these people are strange, not like the tomb’s owners, their flesh is fresh and doesn’t match the burial period."

As for where these dead ca from and why they proactively attacked, all remain uncertain.

Wei Wu pondered, his eyes shimred with a sharp gleam,

"Previously, the Princely Heir relayed a ssage saying he was trapped in a bronze coffin."

"No matter who these people are, our goal is to find the Princely Heir."

"Dig each one up; perhaps the Princely Heir is trapped in one of these coffins!"

"Also, do not scatter. This place not only weakens the five senses but can also disturb perception. Have the Treasure Beads given to you all ready."

As Wei Wu spoke, he raised his head, his eyes piercing through layers of blue smoke and fog, gazing at the countless tombs on the mountain, causing him to frown deeply.

Since stepping foot here, he felt sothing amiss, not only were his perceptions largely suppressed, but his Dantian and Divine Treasure within felt the pressure of an invisible force. The deeper into this mountain, the more perilous it seed.

Nonetheless, for a Living Yama who erected a mound of skulls among mounds of corpses, fear was not yet warranted, especially with plans in reserve.

The five accompanying him each shouted, manifesting a blood-red pearl suspended above their heads, containing powerful evil energy. This pearl, known as the Substitute Tribulation Pearl, can ward off calamity, refined using vast amounts of Evil Soldier alongside secret techniques, specifically crafted for battle.

Thus, the group proceeded up the cetery mountain, digging up graves, unearthing and slaying the "corpses".

However, they soon noticed that the further up the mountain they went, the stronger the presence of the corpses in the graves, all were Heavenly Pass.

After an unknown period, they unearthed soone familiar! It astonished them.

"This seems to be an attendant beside the Princely Heir, surnad Wu!"

Wei Wu’s expression turned stern, the Princely Heir may be in this vicinity, "Continue digging!"

With that, they continued, with Wei Wu breaking paths, after endless battles, they "excavated" more Beiliang troops.

"This is a subordinate of the Left Chief Historian!"

"This is one of the people who ca in this morning!"

The more they excavated, the more alard they beca, realizing all these people in the graves were those who disappeared on this mountain, each invariably dead, and exceptionally without apparent wounds, eerie.

Yet, there remained no trace of the Princely Heir.

They had by this ti reached the mountainside, besides Wei Wu, a top-tier Half-step Dragon and Tiger, the rest began to show fatigue, their unease growing stronger.

The endless graves on the mountain, those missing Beiliang troops were buried within.

And as for Wei Wu, his brow knitted ever tighter. Although they hadn’t faced major trouble, a sharp discomfort lingered, as though watched by sothing unseen.

Suddenly, he halted, then turned his head, his leopard eyes scanned, they were like two great lamps, examining the dead silent foggy mountain forest, but found nothing.

At that mont, a cry rang out not far away.

"What is this?"

Then a muffled groan, as one of their group was struck heavily and flew backward.

Wei Wu’s spirit was imdiately drawn, the suspicious thoughts interrupted by the cry, he moved, reaching the source of the sound.

One accompanying person in opening a grave had dug out a stone carving under the coffin, towering and thick, exuding an ancient aura. Just unearthing a section, it flung the person away.
