A procession of Capital Officials filed in, entering the living quarters of the Helian National Master.

Inside, the light dimd, and the corners of Fang La’s eyes narrowed slightly as he looked ahead, his gaze penetrating the door. Within the darkened room, there was another mystery; ornately carved wooden doors slid open, scales unfolding in sequence, gradually revealing the scene deep within the chamber.

A hundred steps away, a desk lay across, with a General seated behind it, bearing the thunder god face, fine silver arcs of electricity coursing around him, his eyes like cold lightning, his pupils like bronze paint.

On the desk, military reports submitted from below were piled on the right, and on the side lay a black Big Seal.

Though the room was dimly lit, this person was surrounded by silver arcs of electricity, emanating Divine Light. As he watched the people enter, a trace of sigh appeared on his thunder god face.

Ten days ago, Lord Helian commanded him to send a ssage, a Heavenly Petition about the transfer of military power in Shu to inquire with Your Majesty.

It seems Your Majesty was already wary at that ti!

Fang La imdiately recognized the Thunder God Clan mber beside the Helian National Master.

He led the crowd forward, eyes gleaming like a cat slling fishy scent, sensing a different aura, increasingly confirming his suspicions, his voice heavy, questioning in court,

"This official bears Your Majesty’s oral decree to see the Helian National Master."

"Mr. Lei of Thunder Mountain, why are you seated here and not the Helian National Master? Where is the National Master?"

The Thunder God Clan, private ministers of Your Majesty, each possessing great power, though having no specific official rank, were not to be underestimated. Yet at this mont, Fang La from the Imperial Censorate appeared sowhat aggressive.

With the protection of Your Majesty, he vaguely grasped sothing he wouldn’t let go.

And the Capital Officials behind him, seeing that the one seated was the Thunder God emissary beside Lord Helian, not the actual National Master, felt a slight unease.

Especially with Fang La being so aggressive, it seed there was sothing inside they didn’t know about, causing a faint unease in those unaware.

Behind the desk, Lei Shan faced the questioning, his eyelids raised, his bronze-paint-like eyes capturing,

"Since it’s Your Majesty’s oral decree, I won’t hide it from you!"

"The master is not currently at Yunding Mountain!"

This statent confird the suspicions in everyone’s hearts, but why was the Helian National Master not sitting at Yunding Mountain? Where had he gone?

Especially the Heavenly Army Commander who followed, his face ugly from Fang La’s attitude, and upon hearing this, his expression changed several tis.

"Then can I ask where the National Master has gone?" Fang La pursued, wanting to know the answer.

Lei Shan said nothing, slowly rising under everyone’s gaze, turning to look west, his eyes flashing with respect, his tone deeply moved, "On the west front, the Demon Tide is raging, a Demon King has erged, slaughtering our soldiers. The master, full of frost, has gone to the national funeral!"

These words shocked the procession of Capital Officials, who then couldn’t help but whisper among themselves, so nodding, so shaking their heads.

"Since the National Master went to the western line himself, why hasn’t there been any news from the front?" Fang La indeed didn’t believe, his face full of suspicion, unwilling to let go of any doubts.

Lei Shan turned his head, looking at the persistent Imperial Censor, his face slightly cold,

"The Demon Tide is raging, rumors abound in Jinguan, villains taking advantage of the chaos. The Old State Preceptor’s secret departure, without informing you, is to strike against the Demon, kill the Demon King, to prevent information from leaking."

Saying this, Lei Shan snorted coldly, his bronze-paint-like eyes capturing Fang La,

"Mr. Lei sees Lord Fang insisting on understanding, initially wanting to only tell you, but Lord Fang insists on pressing with Your Majesty’s oral decree, causing the situation to reach this point. If information leaks, are you aware of the consequences?"

Fang La was stunned by Lei Shan’s counterattack, his face suddenly changed.

Yet he sat in this position, naturally not a fool, though Your Majesty’s oral decree didn’t explicitly ntion anything, when the National Master was still at Yunding Mountain, he received that oral decree. Such instructions were certainly not simple, filled with hidden secrecy.

He too didn’t withdraw his montum, quickly settling his spirit, his gaze unwavering,

"The Old State Preceptor’s efforts for the situation are certainly admirable, but this official just wants to know why such a major matter is not reported to Your Majesty, handed over to His understanding, but rather an oral decree was sent to this official?"

He decided to bluff, believing Your Majesty wasn’t aware of this matter, increasingly sensing such possibility, his attitude firm, continuing in a deep voice:

"With The Overseers unguarded, no secret communication, if there’s a loss, we will all be sinners!"

"Please have Mr. Lei explain!"

He continued to step forward, his words sharp as a knife, making the atmosphere in the room like frost.

Upon hearing this, Lei Shan’s bronze-paint-like eyes danced, initially wanting to muster his montum, forcing Fang La and others to retreat, but now, every sentence from the other side directly pointed to the core of the issue.

He couldn’t answer this, because this matter hadn’t been reported to Your Majesty, all was the Old State Preceptor’s self-decision, and after so hesitation, he ultimately chose to hide and not report, supporting Helian Mountain’s decision.

Originally, he thought he could stall for a few days, allowing the Old Master to complete his plans, but unexpectedly, Fang La led officials, carrying Your Majesty’s oral decree, forcefully breaking in.

He now didn’t know the specific content of Your Majesty’s oral decree to Fang La, how much did the other party know.

For this, Lei Shan’s eyelids dropped slightly, his voice calm, "The battle is stalemated, Shu is fraught with wounds, it’s impossible to report everything to Your Majesty. The National Master’s actions haven’t yet achieved success, waiting for victory news to co, it’s better to report together to comfort the Sacred Heart."

These words obviously couldn’t fool the Imperial Censor, Fang La, who was seasoned in gauging expressions at the Imperial Censorate, knew Lei Shan must have unsaid things,

He directly aid at this person, his tone slowed though his words were very sharp,
