*Pant, pant, pant*...

Lewis grabbed the ledge of the table, taking deep breaths. Leaning over the counter, sweet poured over his concerned eyes. "Thank God you're alright! I was worried, worried that you would take your own life. Kid, you've got so much too liv-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Who on Earadun told you I was gonna commit suicide! I'm not that depressed! It's just one failure more, that's all..." Trailing off, Simon's eyes darted to the left, evidently depressed.

Giving a stink eye, Lewis still did not believe him, crossing his arms while staring at Simon. As the silence continued on, Simon got more and more nervous, to the point sweat began pouring out in droves. "Ok, fine! Sure, I get depressed, but the only thing I do is drink myself out stone cold! It's not that bad..." Trailing off, Simon got more and more embarrassed.

Lewis sighed in relief before face-palming. "Look, kid. I know alcoholism is your answer, or specifically, the answer to all dwarves' problems, but c'mon kid! Don't you know it picked your liver!"

"It does!?" Simon yelped dumbfounded

Nodding his head, Lewis began explaining, "Back from where I ca from..."

Seeing Lewis trailing off, Simon began wondering where he ca from. "Hey, you know, I heard so stories..." Just as he began asking his question, paper fell from the staircase. "What the fu-!"

"Sorry, sorry, my bad! Forgot to clean up yesterday..." Sheepishly, Simon began explaining.

"I know you're a dwarf and all, but c'mon, have so standards!" Rolling his shirt, Lewis began stomping upstairs. Simon, in panic, stumbled his way through the mountain of papers. "Wait, don't go up!"

Pushing past the cascading piles, Lewis tunnelled his way through, reaching a clusterfuck of a room. As he wiped his face from the rogue blueprint, he saw the room.

And boy, was he shocked.

Each and every corner of the room was filled with paraphernalia. From catapults to balloons, wings to hand cranks, fireworks to rockets. Each and every inch of the room was filled with miniature models, along with their corresponding drawings, all depicting one thing:

How to reach the Moon.

As Lewis' eyes began wandering around the room, he filled with awe. Awe, at the sheer determination the young dwarf had. Awe, at the sheer creativity of his designs.

Awe, at the sheer persistence of his dreams.

As he was gazing at the various inventions in the room, muffled stomps sounded behind him. Digging his way through the avalanche, a ruffled head poked its way through. "*Urghaaah, heehaah*, could you please not barge into soone else's property? This is my house, not yours, got it?" Putting bravado, Simon folded his arms across his chest, face visibly red. Whether out of anger or embarrassnt, or possibly both, Lewis did not know.

"You...did all those?" Voice hoarse, Lewis' gaze showed astonishnt. Astonishnt at the sheer willpower of the dwarf.

Scratching his cheek, Simon twirled his feet. "Well, yeah. A man's gotta dream, right?- Hey, hey, Mr. Lewis, you alright?"

For Lewis stood still, lost deep in his thoughts.
