Getting up from the bushes, Lewis, spitting out the leaves that were stuck in his mouth, dusted himself. After the tinnitus went away, Lewis turned his head, surveying the land after the horrific explosion.
What he saw made his eyes shrink.
The once vibrant trees were no more. All that was left were vestiges, roots that sohow survived the explosion, charred into charcoal. Splinters floated through the air, still in the air. The hot air suffocated him, causing him to struggle to breathe.
"Woah, that...was...aweso! Holy shit, when I created it, I thought it was too weak, so I thought 'Hmm, let's add more Manatised Kerozin', so that's what I did. Damn, the explosion was so totally worth it. Alright, high-fi- Ow!"
With a loud thwack, Lewis thumped Goblina on the head. "You little runt, you could've killed us all! Do you know how close to dying we were right there!? Anyways thank God we're safe..."
Just then, a small cry for help sounded from behind them. Jerking their heads, they saw the little boy stuck on the tree, the baby hanging by the edge of a branch, wailing in fright. Sighing in relief, Lewis attempted to free them, only to be stopped by a rainbow tentacle grabbing his hand.
What the fu-!?
Before he could say anything, he was hoisted into the air, and flicked into the deep blue sky. As he ca crashing down, he saw who, or what had caused this:
Don Sli was still alive
Horrified, he could only watch in fear as he ca closer and closer to the Sli's mouth, waiting to be eaten. Just when he had given up all hope, a murky green vial crashed onto the tentacle. Writhing in pain, he habitually used 'Appraisal' on it.
Status: lting in great pain (what the fuck is that concoction made of!? Fluroantamonic acid or sothing!?)
What the fuck!? I didn't I could do that!?
"What're you waiting for!? Run!"
Getting out of his stupor, Lewis grabbed ahold of the boy and the baby, escaping from Don Sli's catches.
Getting afar, he could only watch in horror as the sli reconstituted itself, along with making a new wooden crown. "...ANGRY!"
With a loud cry, Don Sli went on a rampage, spitting acid bullets everywhere irrelevant to its surroundings. The group could only hide in terror underneath a large rock that was dissolving very quickly.
Panicking, Goblina began going through her potions. "Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit... Damn it, the 'Goblina's Big Burning Bomb X' did not destroy the core! Shit, if there was only a weapon that exploded and shot arrows at the sa ti..."
This was all Lewis needed, for at that exact mont, 'Engineer's Inspiration' activated.
Mind flowing with ideas, calculations, blueprints, he instinctively went through his backpack, rummaging through it, until he found what he was looking for. Grabbing the heavy bronze water bottle, he ripped off a bit of his shirt before turning to Goblina, eyes redder than a tomato.
"Quick, give that concoction! We don't have much ti!"
Under Goblina's quizzical gaze, Lewis quickly poured 'Goblina's Big Burning Bomb X' into the bronze cannister. Plugging the top with the hastily constructed prir and lighting it on fire, Lewis prayed for it to work, before lugging it to Don Sli.
Unaware of the danger, the dumb brainless Sli simply consud it. The cannister made its way to the center of its body, where it touched the core. The cloth, dipped in a waterproof coating, continued to burn, until it reached inside.
Then, there was a blinding light.
With a large boom, the sli exploded into millions of pieces, alongside shrapnels of its core. Mouth agape, Goblina and the boy both looked at Lewis, horrified at what they saw.
"Today I am beco Death, the Destroyer of Worlds..."
And with that, Lewis felt himself advancing to tier-2.
