Gobsmacked, Simon stood in place, mouth agape.

"Hello, earth to Simon, diggy, diggy hole?..." Seeing that Simon stood still, Lewis thought for a brief mont that Simon had died. Only his still-moving nose indicated otherwise.

"Huh, what'd? no dig- hey, wait, did you just say that you've agreed to join ?" Pinching his cheeks, Simon began crying in joy, that's flooding the room. "I can't believe it, I just can't..."

Seeing a grown man crying, Lewis could not help but comfort him. "There, there, no need to worry. It's gonna be alright. Why, back from where I ca from, I was the one who sent people to the Moon..."

Slipping out of his mouth, Lewis inadvertently revealed sothing that he shouldn't have. Though still crying, Simon unfortunately picked up on it.

"Wait, you sent people to the Moon!"

Realising that he had sohow screwed up, Lewis so no further point in hiding it, so he finally revealed it. Scratching his head, he began his story, "Hah, well, you see..."

Lewis began telling how he's not from Eardun, how he was summoned from another world to fight the erging Demon King, about how, when they found out that he possessed the 'useless' occupation of 'chanical Engineer', they abandoned him with only 5 gold coins. He also told him how he struggled to adventure since he didn't know how to level up, ending with them eting each other.

As he finished the story, Lewis discovered that light seed to have disappeared from the room. Oh shit, seems that I have taken way too much talking. Well, although it was cathartic, at least soone listened- hey, what the fuck is he doing!?

There lay Simon, eyes twinkling, kneeling with his hands clenched together. "You led people to the Moon!?" Unable to believe it, Simon was left awestruck. "Yes I di- hey, wait, is that all you're focused on!? Don't you bloody know that the Demon King himself will co within the next five years!?"

Simon offhandedly waved his hands. "Yes, yes, I know. Isn't that why we have the three heroes?" Lewis wanted to argue here but realised he was right.

Simon continued on, "And besides, look at my status screen. I'm not suited to be a warrior anyways..."

He showed his bracelet, opening the screen right in front of Lewis. There, it read:

Wow, this looks completely different from mine- hang on a minute, Goblin Admirer? Lord of the Trashcans!? How bad must've he been suffering!?

Eyes now filled with pity, he patted Simon's shoulders, as if acknowledging sympathy to him.

As Simon lay contemplating his future choices, Lewis began asking.

"Hey, umm, how do I get my abilities, embroidered titles, or even upgrade myself?"
