After a while, everyone slowly boarded the vehicles.

A total of thirty-three battle armor vehicles were parked here.

Each vehicle had two people seated.

The battle armor vehicles for this trip weren’t large, considering the long journey and the unpredictable events that might happen along the way.

To avoid potential incidents, the smallest battle armor vehicles were selected, mainly for their lightness and agility, enabling a quick escape in the face of any situation.

The driver was an ordinary person, around fifty years old.

Seeing Ye Chen and the others get in, he smiled politely.

The vehicle slowly started and proceeded forward.

The people seeing them off hadn’t left yet, watching the vehicles as they departed.

The battle armor vehicle was well-designed, with two beds inside, and all the necessary food and drinks.

Hong Ye and Ye Chen each lay on a bed.

Perhaps out of boredom, the driver began chatting with them.

It was only seven-thirty, and neither of them felt sleepy, so they started chatting casually with the driver.

From the conversation, they learned that the driver was fifty-two years old, a retired soldier who had joined the Law Enforcent Alliance but, without pets, could only do logistical work.

This trip was also one he volunteered for.

Such a distant journey, and they were to be sent to the frontier. It was fine going there because there were Pet Tars for protection.

But if they returned, it would be extrely dangerous.

Hong Ye curiously asked, "Aren’t you afraid sothing might happen?"

The driver indifferently said, "Afraid of what? I never even thought about coming back. At my age, who knows how much longer I’ll live. If I can devote this life to the country, it’s my fortune!"

Though the driver spoke with a smile, his tone revealed a determined resolve.

"Actually, you didn’t have to co. We could have gone by ourselves," Ye Chen said seriously.

"No, no, it’s different. We have a mission this ti, to record the route and so things along the way. You know, the world has changed, and all the places, routes, and environnts are different now. We need to docunt them," said the driver.

Ye Chen helplessly agreed.

There were planes available, but their danger level was far higher than battle armor vehicles, given the multitude of flying monsters.

If danger arose, it’s not as manageable as driving.

After chatting for a while, Ye Chen lay down.

Hong Ye asked with a smile, "Junior brother Ye Chen, do you regret it?"

"Regret what?" Ye Chen asked curiously.

"Regret coming out this ti. You’ve barely been with us in the Holy Guard Army for a month, and you’re already doing this kind of thing. If you regret it, I can have the driver stop and let you off."

Hong Ye spoke sincerely, not as a joke.

"It’s fine. There’s nothing to regret or fear about this," Ye Chen said with a smile.

Suddenly, the vehicle stopped.

"What’s wrong?" Hong Ye asked, sitting up.

The driver shook his head: "I don’t know. The vehicle in front stopped suddenly, maybe sothing happened."

"Don’t move, stay in the vehicle. Junior brother Ye Chen, stay here to protect the driver, I’ll go check it out."

Hong Ye spoke as she got out of the vehicle.

Ye Chen also stepped out, floating in the air to observe ahead.

He saw a burst of light ahead, with dozens of pets fighting against a group of monsters.

The monsters weren’t at a low level, around Level 35, but these people were elites and had little difficulty handling them.

Seeing this, Ye Chen landed back down.

Soon, Hong Ye returned.

"It was just a group of monsters — only sixteen, and not too strong. They’ve all been dealt with."

Hong Ye lay back down on the bed.

Ye Chen nodded, letting out a sound of acknowledgnt.

Before long, the vehicle in front slowly started moving, and their driver followed.

Ye Chen suddenly asked, "Who from the King’s Army went?"

Hong Ye thought for a mont, then said, "I think it was ng Fan and ng Ren, why?"

Curiously, Hong Ye looked at Ye Chen.

Ye Chen nodded, showing Hong Ye the video he recorded today.

After watching, Hong Ye frowned tightly, cursing angrily, "What a nace! As mbers of the Law Enforcent Alliance’s Eighteenth Military Departnt, to do such things is disgraceful! No wonder ng Fan is so wealthy and always recruits High Tier pet squad mbers. It’s because of these dirty deeds! Truly a disgrace to the reputation of the Law Enforcent Alliance!"

Hong Ye cursed indignantly.

"Are you saying the commander of the King’s Army doesn’t know?"

Hong Ye nodded, "He definitely doesn’t. Commander Wang Yan of the King’s Army is a very upright person and good friends with our master. Otherwise, with ng Fan and Bai Ye’s antics, who knows how many tis they’d have fought! Truly a disgrace to Lord Wang Yan!"

Hong Ye was filled with anger.

Ye Chen sighed in agreent, realizing it was ng Fan’s own wrongdoing.

"Junior brother Ye Chen, you might have offended ng Fan this ti. He’s a narrow-minded person and likes Xiao Li. Xiao Li and Bai Ye have mutual feelings, and ng Fan has caused trouble between them several tis. He almost hard Bai Ye once. If not for master’s intervention and Wang Yan’s explanation, we would have fought ng Fan’s group for sure! Be careful of ng Fan this ti," Hong Ye warned Ye Chen.

Ye Chen nodded, "I understand, don’t worry, senior brother."

Hong Ye acknowledged with a hum.

The vehicle was moving quite fast, and by ten-thirty, the sky was already very dark.

The further north they went, the colder the weather beca.

After all, crossing several regions, the weather was very changeable.

There was a section of the journey with light rain.

Another section was marked by a torrential downpour.

The northern part of the country was known as the Snow Country, covered in snow year-round with very cold air.

The driver, being an ordinary person, was quite sensitive to the weather and temperature changes.

Unlike Pet Tars, who could endure both extre heat and cold.

Feeling the cold, the driver turned on the heater.

Ye Chen and Hong Ye lay on their beds, looking at the ssages in the Monster Chat Room.

At night, the Monster Chat Room beca especially lively.

Many people chatted inside the chat room.

Compared to the world section, Ye Chen was more interested in the Seventh Region section.

The Monster Chat Room’s design was very clever.

It had sections for the world, regions, cities, and districts.

The world section had too many people, each speaking their own mind.

But the regional sections were different, with relatively fewer people, allowing ssages to be seen.

Watching the chat room, Ye Chen gradually felt sleepy and slowly drifted off to sleep.
