When the Leviathan reached the outskirts of the capital, the revolving aetheric weapons consolidated a beam of destructive light and blasted it towards the soaring monstrous abomination.

Such a stream of destruction was capable of flattening mountain ranges, yet when each of the radiant lights was rely deflected from the monstrosities' scale.

The aetheric beams of light glead over the cityscape, molding shadows in their way. It was supposed to be a grand display of power.

But the attack was completely ineffective against the monstrous abomination heading their way. The sight alone would have brought despair to the bravest.

However, the elites of the unified defense army maintained their calm as though the despairing scenery before them was to be expected.

Duke November and Duke August beca blurs as the aetheric weapons rotated, consolidating power once again. They appeared before the Leviathan, which blasted a thunderous roar.

If they were ordinary vampires, they would have died from sheer internal damage alone. Fortunately, they were the strongest of the Clan. Standing at the summit of what the vampires could do.

The two of them were the last True Bloods.

"You shall not pass!" Duke November activated his Blood Technique. A circular domain expanded from him as a clock materialized from above. His power was temporal manipulation.

Through temporary domains, he was capable of controlling the ti of anyone or anything. With this in mind, in re monts, he completely halted the montum of the monstrous abomination.

It was as though the world had frozen stiff.

Duke August appeared over the Leviathan and clenched his fist. His Blood Technique activated, and a gargantuan ethereal colossus descended its fist upon the earth.

A sight to behold.

But before the fist of the colossus could reach the monstrous abomination, the Leviathan made its move. First, it was a twitch, but in a millisecond, its body began moving.

The atrocity of the heavens was beginning to resist the laws of the world. Ti cannot stop it from enacting the commands of its creator.

A ball of energy condensed within the jaw of the Leviathan.

Duke November felt his crimson gaze widen as a beam of destruction hurled towards him and impacted the aetherial shield protecting the capital.

The do fluctuated before shattering into tiny pieces as the beam of destruction was barely deflected, impacting the mountain range hundreds of kiloters away.

What followed was stunning.

It was as though the sun had risen into the lower half of the New World for the first ti. A ball of primordial flas blinded everything. The earth shook as cracks ford throughout the city.

"Damn it!" Duke November gritted his teeth, barely dodging the destructive beam that would have instantly turned him into dust. Cold sweat dripped from his forehead.

But his crimson gaze imdiately narrowed since he beca determined to subjugate the monstrous abomination as quick as possible.

The sa could be said of Duke August, whose stature beca serious. After all, not only was their adversary vast, it was also capable of mass destruction. It was too dangerous to be kept alive.

"I'll attract its attention. Do your best to kill it." Duke November uttered under his cold breath, preparing his temporal abilities.

Although more powerful than his colleague, in terms of destructive power, Duke August was capable of destroying more in the least amount of ti.

As such, the one who must handle the elimination of the Leviathan should be none other than Duke August himself.

The Leviathan's scales glead with brilliance as beams of light were about to shoot from every single one of them. Before it could do so, Duke November already enveloped it within his temporal domain.

"Halt." Even if it was only for a couple of seconds, it should be enough for Duke August. The world froze once again as though losing its color.

The destructive True Blood stood over the head of the Leviathan and clenched his fist. Without hesitation or delay, he punched the Leviathan with the force of a hundred mountains.

Duke November noticed the effects of the temporal domain becoming less effective. But his colleague had already thrown an attack towards the monstrous abomination.

Once it was injured, it would only be a matter of ti until they defeated it together and brought victory to the capital behind them.

As the temporal domain lost its effect, the Leviathan roared as it plunged onto the desolate landscape below it. The earth cracked as Duke August clenched his other fist, preparing for another attack.

But before he could do so, the Leviathan flipped its gargantuan body while also firing beams of destruction from every part of its body.

Duke August could barely block the beam of light with his arms and felt them becoming charred in re monts. It didn't even end there.

While Duke November threw a couple of temporal domains to protect the capital from the beams of destruction, so managed to pierce through.

When these lines of light touched the cityscape, devastation was left in their wake. Buildings crumbled as entire districts collapsed.

Bodies lay astrewn everywhere as the crimson flas of catastrophe burned through the capital. Black smoke billowed into the stormy skies while the brilliance of thunder flashed in the background.

Across the streets was a deep trench scarred by the beam of destruction. It was a despairing sight, a saddening one.

Duke November gritted his teeth, visibly annoyed by the sight. He wasn't angry at the thousands of lives lost by the piercing lights. It was the fact that their capital had been desecrated.

So beams even managed to touch the outlines of the gothic castle, leaving behind scarred marks. The sight alone was anger-inducing.

"You monster! How dare you touch the capital and the holy abode of our progenitor!" Duke November roared in anger, but controlled himself and took a deep breath.

"You should pay for what you have done," he muttered to himself as he pointed at the monstrous abomination. "Aeon..."

A spectral light left his fingers and pierced through the head of the Leviathan. It should have instantly died, its body reduced to dust.

But after being halted by the temporal domain twice, it had generated a resistance to ti-alteration abilities. It ant one thing.

The Leviathan had adapted.

As the monstrous abomination regenerated its wounds, Duke November felt a ball of energy beneath its jaw. Once again, it was preparing for another strike.

Understanding the dangerous power behind the ball of energy, he prepared to counteract it through his Blood Technique.

Closing his crimson eyes, Duke November took a deep breath as a clock materialized behind him. In re monts, a wall of frozen space-ti stood between the monstrous abomination and the capital.

It was a Blood Technique that had taken ti and a lot of his aetheric reserves. From now on, he would have to rely on the destructive power of Duke August to handle the Leviathan.

Understanding the opportunity, Duke August also prepared himself. His Blood Technique was capable of summoning immaterial divine objects that wielded the power of destruction.

The spectral colossus that stood over a kiloter tall was a manifestation of these divine objects. If it were one-on-one, Duke August was confident in handling the monstrous abomination.

But protecting the capital while handling it?

He wasn't confident in doing so without failing in either task. With this in mind, he relied on his senior to protect the capital while he handled the threat.

"Regardless... It's strong," he mumbled to himself as his charred arms regenerated. It wasn't a concentrated blast, yet it already turned his limbs into charred at.

"I should condense more power to handle it."

"Its capabilities rival an Aberrant. It also seems to be capable of adapting, so the longer this confrontation continues. The more disadvantaged we would beco."

Duke August clenched his fist as the spectral colossus followed suit. After the ball of energy completed its compression, a blast of destruction followed.

It impacted the wall of space-ti created by Duke November's temporal power. The aetheric wall fluctuated, but the True Blood remained confident.

After all, the wall of space-ti wasn't actually a wall. It was ti condensed into infinity. It ant that in actuality, the beam of destruction wasn't being halted.

But being divided into infinity through ti.

Unfortunately, the wall couldn't be maintained for long periods of ti. Otherwise, Duke November would have been invincible amongst the True Bloods.

When the Leviathan closed its jaw, the wall of space-ti shattered as Duke August imdiately used the spectral colossus to throw a heavy punch.

The monstrous abomination's scale shimred as a ray of destruction blinded the world. But the spectral colossus wasn't halted and punched the Leviathan back to the crater it had created.

It roared in anger as the spectral colossus followed another punch.

Duke August didn't dare to stop and kept punching the Leviathan without stopping. Black blood was splattered throughout the desolate outskirts, yet the roar of the monstrous abomination continued.

The True Blood frowned, realizing that it was adapting to his destruction. Its body beca more resilient the more he punched it to death. Even when the earth shook, and the heavens reverberated.

The Leviathan endured like a force of nature.
