Boom!

Countless ghosts surged out from Ghost Gate.

Their numbers were so imnse that they piled into mountains.

"These evil ghosts range in strength from Primordial Spirit to the lowest Qi Refinent. The array is still within our scope of control, and their numbers are theoretically endless. Taking Moyu Country is within reach."

The ten-thousand-year-old Yin Soul reported to the Taishi Demon Emperor.

The goal of the myriad demons was to conquer Moyu Country; only by unifying the Demon Clan would they possess the strength to challenge the Human Clan.

"Subdue the external by first solidifying the internal."

If two demon clans joined forces, defeating the Human Clan would be far easier. The key point was to use humans as cannon fodder. After all, Kunlun's defense capabilities were too formidable, and even with the aid of evil ghosts, when it ca to breaching Kunlun's final stronghold, they would inevitably need to do it themselves.

"Alright, gather outside the grand hall. This seat shall conduct a review of the troops."

"Understood!"

The demons and ghosts roared in response.

The Taishi Demon Emperor stepped out from the grand hall, and throngs of demons and ghosts densely covered the entire Ancestor Peak. The ten-thousand-mile-high peak was entirely sward by them, evidence of their overwhelming numbers.

"Twelve Hour Ghosts, Five Qi Demons, Ten-thousand-year-old White Bone Spirit, Ten-thousand-year-old Mountain Spirits, Beidou Three Generals, Southern Dipper Three Stars General... Mountain Ghost King, Water Ghost King, Evil Ghost King, Fire Ghost King, Corpse King, Zombie King..."

"Excluding the feeble and infirm, the Yujue Army boasts a total of twenty-seven million soldiers, with the lowest cultivation level at Qi Refinent. The Netherworld Ghost Army, currently growing at a pace of 800,000 per day, now numbers thirty million."

The entire army was poised and ready.

"Ten days from now, on the night of the full moon, we march toward Moyu Country."

This colossal operation was exceedingly covert under the Taishi Demon Emperor's concealnt; even if others discovered it, they would likely believe it was directed against the Human Clan rather than Moyu Country.

If discovered, it might even work in their favor—Moyu Country would be unprepared, and the Human Clan would heavily guard their borders. Thus, the conquest would beco even easier.

Gazing at the seemingly endless hordes of demons and ghosts, the Taishi Demon Emperor was filled with boundless ambition. With such a heroic army, the world was at his fingertips.

Once the world was in his grasp, he would transform the star into his Divine Court and subsequently expand outward.

He was preparing for the looming Demon Tribulation; perhaps this would be his opportunity to break free from the Small Thousand World.

"Yujue Demon Country controls ghosts, while Moyu Country controls birds and beasts. It is ti for convergence."

In his heart, the Taishi Demon Emperor deliberated.

Under his rule, there were indeed birds and beasts, but they did not assu a dominant position; a small portion had even defected to the Donghua Ancestor Court.

In his view, it was rely because he wasn't considered the rightful heir. Therefore, they did not recognize him—a sentint that led so to rather pledge allegiance to the Donghua Ancestor Court than submit to his far greater strength.

"Dismissed."

The Immortal Emperor Court unexpectedly paused its operations; those in the Donghua Ancestor Court truly knew nothing of this affair and believed their sabotage over this period had yielded results.

Still, they did not grow complacent despite the Demon Clan's temporary cessation of activity.

"The Divine Turtle has divined that the Undying Demon Court is planning a major operation. It might be retaliation against us. Deploy heavy troops to guard the borders and suspend all external activities beyond our territory."

In Taiyi Jinhua Palace, Qianzai Monarch Shi Yinhua spoke.

Everyone agreed and followed Shi Yinhua's arrangents.

From Donghua Temple to the Donghua Ancestor Court, all institutions had spent over a century refining their coordination, achieving seamless collaboration devoid of shirking responsibilities, ambiguous accountability, or unclear leadership authority.

Even though so individuals had cultivation levels considerably higher than Shi Yinhua, who was in the Transcendance Tribulation Stage, they still obediently complied with orders.

This was the power and inertia of the system that Song Lin had cultivated over the years through the Donghua Rules and legal fraworks.

It was not a society where the strong ruled with their fists, but one where institutions reached their pinnacle state. Even if Song Lin placed an ordinary, powerless individual in charge, the masses would still obediently follow their orders. This was the foundation of balance across the Three Realms.

Of course, for now, it had yet to be fully realized; much of Shi Yinhua's authority derived from his personal reverence and residual prestige.

Ti flowed onward.

Storm clouds gathered overhead, forewarning battle.

The Great Desert, Moyu Country, Qilin Royal Court.

A great city rose—its walls a hundred zhang tall and stretching across a thousand li.

Calling it a city was an understatent; it resembled a city-state.

The Moyu Qilin had spent several years uniting the desert tribes into one massive empire.

The current Moyu Qilin was no longer rely a coalition leader but a true Demon Emperor.

Thus began the construction of the Qilin Heavenly Court. Compared to the other two, its progress was conspicuously lagging; it would require decades at the very least, assuming everything proceeded smoothly.

At the heart of the Royal Court, the black-robed Moyu Qilin sat amidst the dark abyss. The boundless darkness resembled an ancient beast, swallowing all light around him.

An aura of divine resentnt and ghostly hostility pressed heavily upon the surroundings.

The ministers bowed and dared not lift their heads as one reported the recent developnts to the Moyu Qilin.

"A hundred years? You're telling it'll take a hundred years? By then, Moyu Country will be gone!"

The Moyu Qilin roared in rage, his rare lapse in composure betraying his imnse frustration.

The pressure he faced was imasurable; the other two forces were advancing at astonishing speeds, leaving him far behind.

Neither now nor in the future was ti on his side.

For the Moyu Qilin, claiming he wasn't being crushed by pressure was impossible.

"Your Majesty, the Human Clan has offered an alliance. The terms are quite favorable, perhaps…"

Smack!

The demon hadn't finished speaking before the Moyu Qilin struck him flying with a re glance.

"Terms? That Eastern King even declared that I'd beco his mount. Do you want to serve as a mount?"

The Moyu Qilin seethed with anger.

Forming an alliance was acceptable, but the Human Clan must pay tribute; otherwise, it was absolutely impossible.

Let alone being a mount—if anything, the Eastern King should serve as his mount instead.

By referring to him as "Eastern King" rather than "Song Lin," the Moyu Qilin acknowledged the Eastern King's capabilities.

"This matter is not to be ntioned again. Spread the word—every demon is to spare no effort in constructing the Demon Court. Rewards shall be abundant in the future."

"Understood!"

On the city streets.

The Jiao-Dragon Demon with a dragon head and human body, alongside the Snake Demon with a human head and snake body, strode down the avenues.

The two demons admired the street's beautiful scenery, though their thoughts wandered elsewhere.

"Senior Divine Turtle, is it confird that the Xiezhi Demon Emperor is beneath the Capital?" the Snake Demon secretly transmitted.

"Beyond doubt. I've worked alongside Xiezhi for twenty thousand years; his aura is unmistakable," replied the Jiao-Dragon Demon.

These two were none other than the Divine Turtle and Elder Tianji.

For years, they had infiltrated the Great Desert, finally discovering Xiezhi's place of slumber.

"But this is the Demon Clan's capital. There's no chance of getting close," Elder Tianji remarked with hesitation.

"Wait for the right mont; an opportunity will present itself."

Divination masters couldn't predict events in their entirety; that would be omniscience, not divination.

The greater the event, the vaguer the foresight.

The Divine Turtle only knew that so major event would occur that would aid their cause, but the finer details remained out of reach.

With that, the two fell into silence.

...

Taiyi Divine Realm, Heavenly Emperor's Back Garden.

"Bai Ze, I've heard you know all things—can you uncover my origins?"

Song Lin asked Bai Ze.

"To claim omniscience is but an exaggeration. Your origins are obscure; I cannot discern them. However, I do possess extensive knowledge of divinities' origins and nurous secrets of the Great Thousand World."

"Good. Then I'll trouble you to assist in locating various divinities, useful demon beasts for Heavenly Court, and the movents of Candle Dragon and others. I need your help with it all."

"It is my honor."

This dual-sun conflict persisted for several years.

The two sides remained at peace, though the Mortal World was ablaze with war, as the Chu Country's forces expanded in all directions.

anwhile, Song Lin returned to reality and was greeted by astonishing news.

The Yujue Demon Country had launched an offensive against Moyu Country, and Moyu Country's army crumbled like falling mountains.

Song Lin sensed an opportunity.

"Could the chance to unify the world be upon us?"
