"The Four Great Fierce Beasts?"

Song Lin frowned slightly. Wushan had always been concealed, how could it possibly have been discovered? Could it be that soone had betrayed them?

The Four Great Fierce Beasts were the commanders under Candle Dragon, naly Qiongqi, Chaos, Taowu, and Taotie. Together, they were hailed as the Four Great Fierce Beasts of the ancient world.

"Quick, return imdiately."

Song Lin made a decisive command and quickly led a group onto the Solar Jade Carriage.

Pushing his mana to the limit, the Eight Horses let out a thunderous roar that echoed across the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, propelling the carriage like a blazing sun as it streaked through the sky.

The nations below marveled in shock—two suns had appeared in the sky. Historians quickly penned the phenonon into official records.

Now that they had been exposed, there was no longer any need to hide.

In the boundless void beyond, Candle Dragon noticed Song Lin's trace but was unable to free himself. If he were to shift his massive form and reveal the true sun behind him, all his efforts would have been in vain.

He lightly flicked a candle, sending sparks into the void. The sparks transford into heavenly fire teor showers and bombarded toward the direction of the Solar Jade Carriage.

But the speed of the Solar Jade Carriage was simply too fast—the teors only landed in its wake.

Soon, Song Lin arrived near Wushan.

Above Wushan lood a dense swarm of demons, led by a winged demonic beast with the body of a tiger.

This was none other than Qiongqi, one of the Four Great Divine Beasts, legendary for embodying ultimate wickedness, known to follow the words of only villains.

Yaoji and others used formations to confront the demon army.

A golden protective barrier encapsulated the twelve peaks of Wushan, with Lingxiao Palace at its very center providing steadfast defense.

Qiongqi flapped his wings, unleashing pitch-black wind blades. These wind blades carried a corruptive force that reduced everything within five hundred miles to dust.

The golden barrier crackled and groaned, its surface covered in spider-web-like fractures.

"Hahaha, surrender. Stop your futile resistance!"

Qiongqi laughed maniacally, his voice grating as if nails scraped against tal, leaving anyone who heard it dazed and disoriented.

"Damn it…" Yaoji clenched her silver teeth tightly, her face pale.

She could no longer hold out much longer, especially after recently discovering that the betrayal of Lord Yunzhong and his cohorts had exposed their location, leaving her ntally and physically drained.

Crunch!

At that mont, the formation shattered.

Qiongqi descended amidst a storm of wind blades and thunder, his massive maw opening wide, intending to swallow all living beings around Wushan in one violent inhale.

The flas of demonic arrogance surged monstrously.

Against such a Harmonization-level Great Demon, the group was powerless, resigning themselves to fate as they shut their eyes.

Bang!

Just as despair filled the air, a sharp sound shattered the oppressive silence. Heaven and Earth Xuan Sect struck Qiongqi, sending him reeling.

It was Song Lin and his companions who had arrived.

The formation was reestablished, and Song Lin, Lu Wu, Xiangg Jun, Lady Xiangg, and others stared down the demons across the divide.

"Qiongqi? I'll give you a chance. Surrender and you won't die!"

Song Lin spoke.

The golden radiance of Lingxiao Palace glowed behind him.

Qiongqi did not respond. He instead gazed at Lu Wu standing behind Song Lin, sneering mockingly, "Heh, so it's Lu Wu. How did you beco humanity's loyal dog?"

"Hmph, I advise you to submit as well. Being a loyal dog might just be your ultimate fortune."

Lu Wu chuckled aningfully.

"Oh, is it? Then let …"

Suddenly, Qiongqi froze.

In the sky above, a sun rose—a sun more radiant than the true sun in this realm.

Infinite golden light condensed, forming an unbeatable sword strike that descended ferociously toward Qiongqi's head.

This single strike, imbued with the power of the Heavenly Court, though weaker than the one that had subdued Taishi Demon Emperor in ancient tis, was more than enough to vanquish Qiongqi.

"No!!"

Qiongqi's expression morphed in fear. He abandoned all dignity, hiding behind the demon army, allowing the divine sword to obliterate tens of thousands of soldiers into ashes.

Qiongqi couldn't fathom what this was or why it possessed such overwhelming power. Even Heaven and Earth seed to favor this Eastern King.

In the end, half of his body remained, but he managed to escape regardless.

Golden light blanketed the sky, shielding Wushan's twelve peaks along with vast stretches of the Yangtze River and Wujiang River.

The Lingxiao Palace radiated bright gold, illuminating the Mortal World.

Song Lin's voice echoed across the land, carried by the golden light.

"From this day forth, the Master of the Sun, Eastern King, establishes the Eastern King's Heavenly Court. Expel pseudo demons and restore order. All who desire justice are welco to join!"

His voice brimd with authority, as radiant and all-encompassing as the sun itself.

From then on, the skies permanently held two suns, heralding an entirely new era.

Candle Dragon, enraged, unleashed heavenly fire, but to his dismay, none of it could penetrate the barrier defending Wushan and its surroundings.

Chu Royal Palace.

Wu Qi raised his head to gaze at the second sun in the sky and imdiately grasped the situation. That very night, he sought an audience with the new King of Chu.

Sitting on the throne was a young king, radiating like the nascent sun outside the hall. Wu Qi bowed deeply before him.

"Why?" asked the King of Chu with confusion.

"Your Majesty, before your ascension, you once asked when Chu might achieve dominance. At the ti, I had no answer, for I could not see the path. Now, I can answer—Chu's path to dominance begins today!"

"Raise the banners, proclaim allegiance to the Eastern King as Heavenly Emperor! He will be the greatest force guiding us to unify the lands!"

Wu Qi, who had served the Chu administration across two reigns, played a pivotal role in reforms of territorial governance, military systems, administrative entities, and talent selection.

It's no exaggeration to say that with the Eastern King's progressive vision, Chu is worlds apart from other nations.

"Very well!"

The King of Chu issued an imperial edict to recognize the Eastern King as Heavenly Emperor and unprecedentedly conducted an official ritual of worship in his honor.

During the ritual, the Eastern King's divine thought descended upon the site, bestowing crimson rain that healed wounds and cured illnesses, earning unwavering faith from Chu's populace.

At the sa ti, covert celestial rebuilding projects under the guise of rapid developnt were initiated, bringing large swaths of Chu under the jurisdiction of Lingxiao Palace. Wushan rose thousands of ters, becoming the tallest peak under heaven.

The era of contention between the Eastern King's sun and Candle Dragon's sun officially began.

For a ti, those opposed to demon rule—be they Abnormal Soldiers or deities—flocked to pledge their allegiance.

Song Lin dispatched envoys to various regions, establishing Taoist traditions.

Humanity began transitioning from an age of chaos into an orderly Three Realms.

Living among deities may seem romantic, but all this was founded on unstable chaos.

Humanity should not blindly revere ghosts and gods.

In Yunng Marsh, the portion of Chu not yet unified, lay the territory of Lord Yunzhong.

"Eastern King's Heavenly Court? Interesting. So the challenge begins now?"

Lord Yunzhong took a sip of wine.

"Yaoji sent her people to question us about why we leaked their location."

The Water God reported.

"And what of it? Even Candle Dragon wouldn't dare trouble . They want involved, but they must prepare for my retaliation. Candle Dragon's kills, yet they seek bla with —where did she find the gall?" Yunzhong's eyes flashed coldly. "Besides, the Eastern King dares to establish Rain and Thunder Departnts without my endorsent. Does he an to replace ?"

That was Yunzhong's reverse scale.

If events progressed unchecked, soon everyone would revere Thunder Gods and Rain Gods while forgetting Yunzhong.

"The Eastern King has issued an ultimatum. Three months—submit, or perish."

"Haha! I'd like to see what he plans to do after three months."

...

Real World.

Yujue Demon Country.

On this day, Demonic Qi blocked out the sun, and a colossal pitch-black gate materialized in the void.

From within, a mountainous hand stretched outward, followed by countless Ghost Kings pouring forth.

"Haha, the grand enterprise shall succeed! Mobilize forces! First conquer the Great Desert, unify the Demon Clan, then surround Kunlun!"
