"Since when did the Taoist School prohibit demons from receiving liturgy?"

The speaker was none other than Taoist Zhi Xin.

"Greetings, Grandmaster!"

Upon seeing Zhi Xin erge, Fire Cloud’s face turned ashen.

No wonder Song Lin had been so fearless, still mouthing off even on the brink of death.

It turned out he truly had a powerful backer.

Could the relationship between Taoist Zhi Xin and him really be this strong?

In that instant, Fire Cloud seed to understand everything.

Perhaps Song Lin’s cultivation resources were all provided by this Taoist Zhi Xin before him.

"You still haven’t answered!" Zhi Xin asked with a warm smile.

"That was indeed a miscalculation on my part. Since the senior has spoken, I will not pursue the matter further," Fire Cloud said helplessly, forced to let Song Lin go.

All efforts wasted!

This grand rite, originally ant to capture Song Lin, had now instead worked to bolster his montum.

This person must not be left alive!

Fire Cloud sighed inwardly; this guy was far more malicious than he had imagined.

Perhaps it was ti to let that lord intervene?

Zhi Xin broke his contemplation: "That’s more like it. Don’t be so rigid. Isn’t it a good thing when disciples develop new magic veins? And so what if demons are involved? Are there few Taoists in the world who borrow the power of demons?"

"Thank you, Master, for the guidance. I see my error now."

Fire Cloud’s humble deanor left those around him dumbfounded.

Who on earth was this person to make Fire Cloud act so deferentially? Was this Song Lin’s patron?

Besides Master Zhi Xin, others arrived belatedly, including Po Jun, Xianlu, and the one-eyed Yang Ji from before.

Song Lin arranged for everyone to take their seats.

He then introduced them to the crowd.

"This is Grandmaster Zhi Xin from Mingxing Peak, as well as the rit Officer of Jiazi Troops, Yang Ji..."

The crowd at last understood.

No wonder Fire Cloud behaved so submissively—Grandmaster himself had arrived.

"Grandmaster" was an honorary title, usually reserved for those with profound Taoist Skills.

Such individuals had a direct connection to the heavens, and ordinary Taoists truly couldn’t afford to provoke them.

Soon, the liturgy was completed.

The banquet began, accompanied by the music of strings and bamboo pipes. Plates of exquisite dishes were brought out and placed on the tables to the right of each guest.

Song Lin sat to Zhi Xin’s left.

"Master, this junior has already learned the Da Yan Mathematical Calculation Scripture and successfully deduced the complete Bone Weighing Rhy."

As he spoke, he handed a jade scroll to Zhi Xin.

"Hmm? You’ve comprehended it in just a few days?"

Receiving the jade scroll, Zhi Xin asked.

"Ah, perhaps this junior has a bit of talent in this field," Song Lin said modestly.

What Zhi Xin didn’t know was that Song Lin had actually spent five or six years comprehending it in his story world, not just ten-odd days.

"Your Bone Weighing Rhy is not bad; it has research value."

Although it wasn’t particularly powerful as a divination thod,

the technique divided human destiny into fifty-one categories, serving only as a reference.

Still, as a new spell, it held significant potential. It had greatly benefited Zhi Xin, which was why he had co personally to offer his support this ti.

"Talent?" Zhi Xin, intrigued, posed several questions.

Song Lin answered each one, leaving Zhi Xin astonished in turn.

Originally, he assud Song Lin had rely gotten lucky in comprehending the technique, but now it seed this individual truly possessed remarkable ability.

As the banquet reached its peak, the two of them chatted enthusiastically, with Fire Cloud interjecting occasionally, as though the earlier conflict had been nothing but a misunderstanding.

At this point, Song Lin spoke to the Taoist leader:

"Taoist, it would be a waste to let my three magic veins go unused. Why not let share them freely with all my fellow Taoists?"

Song Lin’s voice was loud enough to encompass the entire hall.

"Master Song Lin, such grand generosity! I’ll toast to you!"

"Excellent! Truly worthy of a Divine General leader!"

These words were t with a chorus of applause.

The birth of new spells was rare, though not unheard of every few years.

However, new magic veins were a different matter altogether. Even if their upper limit was Divine Establishnt Perfection, they were an undeniable boon to any sect.

Moreover, Song Lin’s Thunder Skill and Divine dium Immortal Veins were no less potent than others’, especially during the fetal breath and qi refinent stages, where they outshone many techniques.

Unlike the enthused crowd, Fire Cloud’s face grew darker than ever.

Was this fellow disseminating Taoist teachings?

For others, this was a good thing; for Fire Cloud, it was nothing short of a crisis.

Spreading Taoist teachings ant that so individuals would inevitably align with Song Lin.

Especially since he wasn’t giving everything away all at once, but imparting it gradually.

This ensured others would find themselves more and more aligned with Song Lin over ti.

Despicable! Absolutely despicable!

Fire Cloud inwardly scread. The pressure this man exerted on him was even greater than Chi Hai’s.

At least Chi Hai hadn’t employed such underhanded thods to win others over.

All eyes were on him now. No matter how unwilling Fire Cloud might have felt,

he could now only nod in reluctant agreent.

The banquet dispersed soon after.

Zhi Xin stood and said to Song Lin, "If you ever need anything, you can co find at Mingxing Peak. Of course, no need to do odd jobs."

"Understood," Song Lin replied with a smile.

Utilizing Taoist Skills from the Otherworld, he had finally earned Zhi Xin’s acknowledgnt.

With soone in court to rely on, things were far easier.

He no longer had to worry about Fire Cloud causing trouble for him, at least not as brazenly as today.

The attendees gradually departed, leaving behind only those interested in learning the Taoist teachings.

The Seven Temples of Five Ghosts, Mountain Demon, Yunze, White Bone, Sword Peak, Qi Eating, and True Demon pledged themselves.

In truth, many other temples had been present earlier, but Song Lin had sent them all packing when they tried to harm him.

The Chaozhen Temple hadn’t made a move, but neither did they seem interested in learning.

Those from Chaozhen were unique; its disciples cultivated the Feather Transformation Ascension thod, abandoning physical form in pursuit of transcendence.

"I possess Water Technique, Sword Thunder Skill, Divine dium Immortal Technique, and Cultivation thod. I can only teach portions of each. If you’re interested, send disciples to learn."

With that, no fewer than seven temple masters swore allegiance to him.

This wasn’t because Song Lin’s charisma magically inspired loyalty or because he unleashed so domineering aura.
