TILLY imdiately calm down after hearing Winter’s explanation.

"Don’t worry about that, Winter," Tilly comforted her son who was about to cry. "It wasn’t your fault."
Winter finally broke out crying. "But I almost killed Daddy..."
"It’s okay, Winter. I didn’t die," Kiho said, picking up Winter and carrying him in his arms. "And even if I did, I’m sure your mother would have done sothing to bring back to life."
"That’s right," Tilly said, nodding. "So, don’t be too hard on yourself, Winter. You’re allowed to make mistakes even if it’s at our expense. It’s our job to protect you and not the other way around."
Fortunately, it looked like Winter was comforted by her words.
"Winter, co here," Julian said, urging his brother to climb down their father’s arms. "Mother’s subordinates are coming. You wouldn’t want them to see the Supre’s heir crying, would you?"

Tilly and Kiho hadn’t chosen their heir yet between Winter and Julian.

Julian looked taken aback. "Oh..."
"Moreover, you’re the oldest child," Winter said. "It won’t be strange if you beco the successor."
Now it was Julian who blushed.

"To be fair, you don’t have to worry about who’s going to be our successor because both of you can receive a noble title later," Tilly said to her children. "When my father passed away, I inherited his title as Duke Prescott. One of you can beco the future Duke Prescott and the other Duke Nystrom."
Her children’s face lit up as if they hadn’t considered that option before.
Kiho nodded in agreent with what Tilly said. "But that’s only if the empire is still an empire after all of this is over."
Right?
"Aku Moonchester doesn’t deserve to be an emperor anymore," Tilly said coldly. "The empire needs a new ruler."
She then turned to her husband with a knowing look.
Kiho looked clueless, though.
[Gosh. My husband can really be clueless when it cos to politics.]
But it was a good thing that Kiho wasn’t greedy with power.
"Supre, we apologize for interrupting your ti with your family."
"It’s alright," Tilly said. "What’s the status of the island? Wong, Kelsi?"
Yes, it was Wong and Kelsi who ca to give her a report.
Wong glared at Kiho and only stopped when Kelso elbowed him "discreetly."
Haaah.
[Wong still hates Kiho even after I warned him to stop picking on my husband.]
"With the help of the Red Phoenix, we have filled the heart of the island with enough fla to stop the island from crashing," Kelsi said. "We will be descending safely."
Well, Tilly already knew that because the island had stabilized already. "How about the citizens of the empire? Are they safe?"
"We put them in sleep before the Fire Mages descended to avoid mass panic," Kelsi explained. "They’re still sleeping in a safe place. Should we wake them up now?"
Tilly shook her head. "I don’t want them to panic once they see the current state of the island. Let’s wake them up once we descended sowhere safe."
"Understood, Supre."
"Is there sothing else you need to report to ?" Tilly asked, then she turned to Wong. "You’re not here just to tell about the island’s current state, are you?"
"We have received a ssage from Lord Solaris," Wong said politely. "Along with Noel Sherwood and Miss Luna, the three of them have killed Elis Ripperton and fed the Blue Dragon’s body to the Ancient Crades that attacked the Royal Capital."
That report was a little heavy, huh?
But it was good news.
"Good riddance," Tilly said, nodding. "I did leave a ssage asking the Fire Mages to bring Elis Ripperton to either Luna or Noel Sherwood, but I didn’t expect that it was Solaris who received my ssage. That must be fate."
Wong nodded politely, then he glanced at Winter before he continued with his report. "Lord Solaris said that it had been made possible because the Moon Serpent took away the Blue Dragon’s divinity. Moreover, the venom in the Blue Dragon’s body killed the Ancient Crades right away."
Ohh.
So, that was how dangerous Winter’s venom as a Moon Serpent was, huh?

"You did well, Winter," Kiho said, gently patting Winter’s head. "Thank you for helping us get rid of the Blue Dragon."
Julian smiled proudly while patting Winter’s shoulder.
Tilly nodded encouragingly. "You did great, baby. Thank you for your hard work."
Winter’s face lit up. "You’re welco, Mommy! Daddy!"
Tilly just smiled before she turned to Wong again with a serious look on her face. "Ask Lord Solaris his exact location," she said. "Tell him we’ll be there right away."

Luna suspected that the ancient magic circle weakened when the Ancient Crades devoured Elis Ripperton’s severed head.
She had a feeling that the venom in the Blue Dragon’s blood helped.
[Since the Moon Serpent’s venom can take away one’s divinity, I wouldn’t be surprised if it could also weaken an ancient magic circle imbued with dark energy.]
