The following day, a grand award ceremony was held in honor of Leon's achievents. This event stood out from similar occasions for many reasons. First and foremost, the ceremony attracted the largest number of guests in the kingdom's history. The reason for such excitent was evident: typically, only the heads of noble houses or their official representatives attended such events. However, this ti, future heirs of titles, nearly all barons, and viscounts were present as well. All of this was thanks to Leon, who was considered a savior by many for several reasons.

Firstly, Leon had significantly weakened the pirates, leading to the restoration of trade routes. This brought substantial revenues to the noble coffers from duties and taxes, generating considerable profit for the kingdom. Secondly, his assistance in combating the won of the "Forest of Ladies" organization saved the lives of many present.

As Leon approached the king to receive his award, the crowd greeted him with enthusiastic cheers.

"LEON! LEON!"

"HERO! SAVIOR!"

"LOOK OVER HERE!"

These cries echoed from all sides, and Leon felt increasingly awkward. His embarrassnt was only amplified by the comnts from Luxion and Cleare, who accompanied him.

"Congratulations, Master," said Luxion, hovering near Leon's ear in stealth mode. "You are loved more by n than won."

"Analyzing: the number of n harboring romantic feelings for you is increasing," Cleare added in a mocking tone.

"Shut up, both of you, especially you, Cleare! It's bad enough without your remarks," Leon snapped irritably as he approached the king.

During the ceremony, Leon was not made an Earl, but he was granted the title of "Hero of the Kingdom" and awarded a rare dal. Although the reward might have seed modest, in reality, the title of hero ca with nurous privileges, and the dal from the king was considered a great honor, even though Leon couldn't care less about any of it.

After the ceremony, Leon beca the center of attention for the heirs of the kingdom's largest noble houses. Representatives of the Roseblade, Redgrave, Atlee, Offrey, and many other families approached him. However, the most notable figures were these:

The first to approach was the heir of the Offrey house. Their conversation got off to a rough start: the young man showed no respect, believing that simply speaking with him should be an honor for Leon. Unable to tolerate this, Leon responded with equal bluntness. Their interaction ended in a verbal spat, and they parted ways.

Next ca Clarissa from the Atlee house. Her conversation with Leon was warm and friendly. They chatted pleasantly about various topics. Clarissa occasionally ntioned Jilk, as her feelings for him were very strong at the ti. Her goal was to establish a friendly relationship between their families, and she succeeded.

The next to approach was the heir of the Roseblade house, a young man two or three years older than Leon. Alongside him was his sister, Deirdre Fou Roseblade, who silently observed Leon with interest. They congratulated him on his achievents and began a conversation. At one point, Deirdre's older brother unexpectedly said:

"I hope that in the future, our families will be connected by blood."

This statent clearly hinted that the Roseblade family sought to form a marital alliance with the Bartforts.

The last of the heirs to approach Leon was Gilbert from the Redgrave house. Unfortunately, Leon did not see Angelica by his side, which left him slightly disappointed. Nevertheless, his conversation with Gilbert took place and turned out to be quite significant. Unlike the other heirs, Gilbert showed genuine interest not only in Leon's accomplishnts but also in future cooperation between their families.

"I'd like to discuss a few important matters with you," Gilbert began. "First and foremost, strengthening the friendship between our houses and developing trade and military relations. Additionally, there's one more matter."

Gilbert paused briefly, looking at Leon intently.

"The families supporting the Redgrave house are prepared to offer you alliances with their daughters. This could be advantageous both politically and personally."

Leon was slightly flustered, processing what he had heard, but said nothing, allowing Gilbert to continue.

"Lastly, my father would like to et with you in person. Tell , would you be able to make ti for this, Hero Bartfort?"

Hearing this, Leon thought it over. While the proposal was tempting, he knew he had too many responsibilities at the mont.

"Unfortunately, I can't spare the ti right now, though I would like to et your father. But I promise we'll discuss this when I enter the Academy."

"Glad to hear it," Gilbert replied with a faint smile. "My father will be pleased with the outco of today's conversation."

With those words, he extended his hand to Leon. Leon returned the handshake firmly, noting to himself how sincere and respectful the Redgrave heir was.

After speaking with Gilbert, Leon continued interacting with other representatives of noble houses. These conversations were far less intense: simple congratulations and light topics that didn't require serious decisions. Despite the large number of people, Leon tried to remain polite and attentive to everyone.

However, as he was leaving the hall, he felt a piercing gaze on him. Turning around, Leon noticed Marquis Frampton standing in the shadow of the columns, watching him intently. The man's face showed a concealed hatred, thinly veiled by a neutral expression.

"It seems this man isn't pleased with my presence," Leon thought but decided to ignore it. He saw no point in wasting ti on soone clearly hostile.

Without lingering further at the palace, Leon confidently walked out of the ceremony.

Well, the majority of you voted for The Extra's Academy Survival Guide, and as promised, I'll tell you how the story will begin and give you a little insight into how everything will work.

First of all, the main character will, of course, be Ed. As so of you may have guessed, I hate replacing main characters with original ones.

The story starts at the sa point as in the manhwa and novel—Ed is sitting on a bench, thinking about what to do now that he's stuck in the body of a third-rate villain. But suddenly, while he is lost in thought, a Sun Strike falls on him from above.

What happened inside that mont, I haven't figured out yet. However, the gathered crowd witnesses sothing incredible: Ed erges from the light. But those who knew him imdiately notice the changes.

He's taller, stronger, more muscular. His gaze has changed, exuding confidence, and both his spiritual connection and mana have significantly increased.

You might think that the main character has returned to the past from the future, but that's not the case. Only his body has returned from the future, while his mind and mories remain at the very beginning. However, he has a strange feeling that he knows exactly what needs to be done.

All the habits and traits Ed developed in the future will manifest in his present self.

As for his body, it's from so point after Ed killed his father in the novel. But I haven't decided on the exact mont yet. I'll need to reread the story to rember everything Ed was capable of in the future.
