"You've been a rcenary, that's not them coming for you, is it?" Xu Yang didn't answer but instead posed a question first.

If they were after this guy, then he might as well let this guy find a place to stop the car and just walk away.

Anyone who could find a rcenary was definitely not an easy target.

Although Xu Yang had a system, he also didn't want to provoke such people.

If soone like that got him in their sights, and he was killed in a confused ss, that would be tragic.

He had a system and hadn't yet reached the pinnacle of the world; his wonderful life, not yet fully enjoyed, to be cut short like that felt unbearable.

"Boss, they're not after , they must be after you. That car has been following from the Exquisite Private Restaurant. It was already parked in front of the restaurant when I arrived there," the driver explained.

"Based on my analysis, the people who go to the Exquisite Private Restaurant are wealthy, and the person in that car must be staking out the place."

"Seeing you drive a Rolls-Royce, they probably thought of making a move on you, kidnapping or sothing."

The designated driver analyzed.

This analysis made Xu Yang's heart tremble.

It reminded him of a certain case, where an actor had been kidnapped.

That case had even been turned into a movie.

It was about criminals staking out a place and selecting a target to kidnap.

His own situation seed sowhat similar.

"Big brother, what should we do now?" Xu Yang was out of ideas when it ca to this kind of situation.

If it weren't for this designated driver, Xu Yang wouldn't have even noticed he was being targeted.

You never know when you might be kidnapped and threatened.

At this mont, his only recourse was to ask the designated driver for help.

"Do you trust ?" the designated driver asked calmly.

To him, dealing with a few thugs was just as easy as dealing with small fry; it was not a problem at all.

"I trust you," Xu Yang hesitated for a mont, then nodded.

He had no choice at this point; it seed he could only trust the designated driver.

"As long as you trust . I'll drive to a nearby deserted place to get rid of those people, what do you think?" Although Xu Yang said he trusted him, the designated driver still sought Xu Yang's opinion.

"Okay," Xu Yang nodded.

The designated driver stopped talking and took the next right turn at the crossroads, drove a distance, then turned left into a street, and stopped the car.

This street was under construction, with no pedestrians or vehicles passing through.

It wasn't long after they stopped that the white Chevrolet behind them also ca to a halt.

Four burly n got out of the Chevrolet, each blocking one of the car doors.

"Boss, stay in the car, I'll go down and take care of them," the designated driver said after lowering the car window a bit, then opened the door and got out.

Xu Yang didn't get out, but with the window lowered a little, he could both see and hear what was happening outside.

If the window hadn't been lowered, with the soundproofing quality of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, he wouldn't have been able to hear anything outside; he would only be able to see through the glass windows.

"You are the designated driver, right?" a buzz-cut thug standing outside the driver's door asked as he saw the designated driver get out.

Earlier, while they were staking out, they had overheard the conversation between the designated driver and Xu Yang.

"Yes," the designated driver nodded.

"Kid, our target isn't you, but since you're the rich guy's driver today, I guess it's just your bad luck," the buzz-cut man said, then imdiately threw a punch at the designated driver's face.

"Starting the fight so quickly?" The designated driver raised an eyebrow, dodged the buzz-cut man's punch by moving to the side, and with even greater speed, delivered a karate chop to the buzz-cut man's arm.

Crack!

The crew-cut thug's arm broke with a snap, followed by a scream of agony.

"He's a martial artist, or even a master. All of you, co here, let's gang up on him!"

The crew-cut man quickly retreated and called for his companions to help.

Two other burly n imdiately joined in from the side.

At this point, whether Xu Yang would escape from the car door was no longer important.

Then, the three thugs charged at the designated driver together.

Bang bang!

The driver executed a roundhouse kick, sending two thugs flying.

"So tough!" Xu Yang, inside the car, watched in astonishnt.

Is this the strength of a special forces soldier combined with a rcenary?

The remaining one, pulling out a dagger from sowhere, waved it fiercely and glared at the driver: "I'm not afraid of you. Co at if you dare. I'll see if I don't kill you."

The driver didn't say a word, just shook his head with disdain, smiled mockingly, moved forward like lightning, and booted the opponent, sending him flying.

The man hit the ground, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, his face full of shock.

The dagger in his hand had already fallen far away on the ground.

The driver looked towards Xu Yang in the car: "Boss, you can get out of the car now. You ask them. Let's see if it's the sa as my guess."

Xu Yang got out of the car, glanced at the three n lying on the ground, and finally set his gaze on the crew-cut man: "What do you want with , following like that?"

The crew-cut man snorted coldly and remained silent.

Xu Yang's gaze intensified as he looked at the driver: "Bro, seems like this guy still isn't being forthcoming. I want him to honestly answer my questions. Got any ideas?"

"Of course!" the driver said, "There are plenty of ways to deal with such people, like the tiger bench, pouring chili water... *cough* we don't have those things now, nor the place and tools, so let's keep it simple. If he's unwilling to answer honestly, then I'll beat him until he does."

Xu Yang nodded in approval: "Good."

The driver looked at the crew-cut man coldly: "You, just talk honestly and that'll be the end of it. Why be so stubborn?"

Without waiting for the crew-cut man to respond, he moved forward and grabbed the man's other hand: "If you don't talk, I will break this hand of yours right now and make you completely disabled."

Facing the driver's icy gaze, the crew-cut man seed to see a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood in his eyes. He knew the driver was by no ans bluffing; this was a ruthless man. He quickly nodded: "Bro, I'm willing to talk, don't break my hand!"

Slap!

The driver released the crew-cut man's hand and smacked him across the face.

"Bro, I already said I was willing to talk. Why did you still hit ?"

The crew-cut man covered his cheek, his face full of grievance.

"I hit you because I want to. Do I need a reason?" the driver said domineeringly.

"No need for a reason." The crew-cut man's face was filled with bitterness.

What the hell kind of situation was this? They ca to kidnap soone but ended up facing such a tough cookie.

"Then hurry up and answer the boss's question," the driver said.

"Okay, okay," the crew-cut man nodded repeatedly and looked at Xu Yang, "Boss, we were staking out that restaurant and noticed your fancy car. Following you, we intended to kidnap you. A person like you must be rich, and by kidnapping you, we can get a huge ransom. With that money, we could make a clean getaway and live a wealthy life, carefree for the rest of our days."

Damn, it was just as the driver analyzed, a kidnapping plot.

If it weren't for this stand-in driver today, he probably would have been in real danger.

Maybe these people would have even followed him ho.

Not only was he in danger, but his wife could have been as well.

With this realization, a cold sweat broke out on Xu Yang's back. He imdiately said, "Bro, call the police."
