"Jasmine is the sweetest lady I have ever known. She doesn't deserve these ill-treatnts from Auntie so I wonder why Auntie is so hellbent on making life miserable for that sweet girl," Evelyn who ca out of the kitchen just in ti to hear Jackson's words said as she approached where the guys' sits.
"You are damn correct about that. The most painful part of all this is that Auntie hates her for no reason," Steve wearing a grey long sleeve said.
"JK, what are your plans now. Are you going to give in to what Auntie wants...,"
"Are you insane? Why on earth will I do that?" Jackson snapped as he glared at the innocent Jeffrey.
"Why am I even asking whether you are insane. For you to make such assumptions I am sure you must be crazy," Jackson said in a cold tone before he sipped from the bottle of wine.
"JK, you know I didn't an...,"
"Let ask you, if your parents object to your relationship with Catherine because they think she is not of the sa class as you what will you do? Will you leave her because of their judgnts about her?" Jackson asked to the shock of everyone.
"Jack, how could you say that. It hasn't co to that stage...,"
"This is the reality guys and this is why I want to prepare his mind for it because I am sure that there is a possibility your mum will not like you to get married to her. You might have gotten her father's permission but don't forget you have your parents to deal with," Jackson said as he stood up and went to the porch.
"Why would JK say that about and Erin?" Jeff asked unhappily as he stare at the guy drinking the highly intoxicated wine like it was water.
"Don't take what he said seriously because his words were those said out of anger. He is hurt by what his mum did, he doesn't know a better way to let it out other than taking it out on soone else. There was no harm in what you said so don't think too much about it hmm," Evelyn said trying to cheer up the unhappy Jeffrey.
"Guys, wait here while I go get appetisers we can have along with the wine. It's bad to drink on empty stomach, don't forget that," Evelyn said before she excused herself.
"I wonder what we can do to help JK and Jasmine out. They both don't deserve to go through all they are going through now," The unhappy Jeff said his eyes glued on Jackson still drinking. The bottle of wine in his hands was halved now.
"If this was an issue between him and Jasmine, we would have said helping them to talk to each other will help. And if it was an issue concerning a love interest, dealing with such issues would have been easier too but this particular problem is created by Jack's mum. I don't know how we can go about helping them," Steve said as he picked up the glass of wine lying on the table.
"Intervening in this case might worsen everything which is why I suggest we let them resolve the issue. All we can do is support them emotionally. Making them feel how much we love and care about them is the only way we can help them if you were to ask ," Steve concluded as he sipped from the glass of wine.
"If that is the case then I will go talk to him and try to take his mind away from the current issue. I am sure doing this will help," Jeff said as he stood up with a bottle of wine and a glass in his hands.
"That is a nice idea but try not to say anything that will upset him. I will be helping Eve out in the kitchen," Steve said as he watched Jeff approach the porch which is decorated with beautiful flowers. The porch gives the vibe of being in a garden of flowers.
When Jackson left Steve's ho it was pretty late. Because of how drunk he was Steve had his driver send him ho.
Jasmine sitting in her sitting room staring at the entrance jerked to her feet when she saw soone staggered into the room.
She hurried to the door to assist the drunk Jackson to the couch.
"Hey, why did you drink so much? As long as I can recall you always refrain from drinking a lot so what went wrong?" Jasmine sitting beside the drunk guy on the couch asked in a worried tone. She raised her hand and caress his reddened face which was a result of the heavy alcohol he drank.
"You reek of alcohol. Wait here while I get warm coffee to help you sober up," Jasmine stood up to leave only to be pulled back onto his body by Jackson. She was a little taken aback but she did not move. She watched as he used his hands and cup her face.
"I love you so much. Since the first ti I set my eyes on you, I had fallen in love with you. I put in a lot of effort to get you to notice . I worked so hard before we got to this stage in our relationship so why doesn't my mum understand how I feel?" Jackson said as he stroked her face affectionately.
"Why doesn't she understand you are the only woman who completes in this lifeti?" Jackson asked in a painful tone.
"I was really looking forward to how happy she would be when I embarked on the mission to make you my woman so why did it turn out like this? Tell did I perhaps do sothing wrong?" Jackson asked as he stare into her sapphire eyes. Her entrapping eyes had always chard him each ti he stares into them.
"Ice Prince, seeing you sad makes twice unhappy so stop feeling upset. And didn't you say whether or not your mum agrees to our union you will fight for what you want...,"

I don't know why we hardly achieve monthly goals. I don't know whether it is because you guys think the story is not interesting. Guys, I don't know whether the fault for not completing monthly goals lies with but I am still grateful to all of you for your supports and love.
